Needing to satisfy our sweet tooth late on a Saturday night, Andy's was the choice. Custard does not quite hit me like good old fashioned soft serve, but it's a good treat. Key lime added to anything is usually a great dessert option, so when mixed into Custard, it was very tasty. Peaches for wifey and swapping spoonfuls of each is a great way to end the night. There is limited outdoor seating , mainly a few benches next to the building, so it is mainly a drive thru shop. Our orders were taken at the window and the servers are friendly.

I have a love-hate relationship with Andy's. I love them because they are so delicious and hate them because they are so delicious and I keep going back for more. Their custard is so smooth and creamy, and not too sweet. There are two different flavors that I can't get enough of, I get the pecans with butter scotch and a dollop of marshmallow cream, or the banana split in a cup with peanuts, and a dollop of marshmallow cream. Since discovering that I have the palate of a six year old when it comes to frozen custard, I now find myself struggling to not run there every few days since they now have a location right around the corner from me.

Woah I had no idea this location existed. It was my first time trying Andy's and I loved the concept. Order from drive through or outside window and they will get it too you. There is a little area to the side for kids to play while we all enjoy a sweet lil treat. They are open till 11 for those of us that get the munchies. The pints are just as great as the concerts and for a little less there is enough to take home. Either way the base of these desserts starts with an amazing custard so you can't go wrong with any choice.

First time here and I really like the place. I can see where this is going to be a very busy place from April until September. I ordered the Banana Split and was impressed at the size (I ordered the Regular size, I am afraid to ask what the large looks like). It was bigger than Sonics and Baskin Robbins, it was delicious and hot the spot. Next I visit I will get their Turtle Sundae.

My new favorite dessert place in Stone Oak! The service was quick & easy, and the cashier was so kind. I like that they have a grassy area for connect 4 and cornhole to enjoy when it's warm.

I absolutely love Andy's! Best ice cream ever! The staff at this location are absolutely hands down so genuinely awesome! They make the best concrete jackhammers and they served my girl the cutest baby pup cone ever! It absolutely made my day when they handed it over for her to eat and she loved it all! Now I don't mind taking a drive to go here but what I wouldn't give to have an Andy's in New Braunfels by my house!

11/1/2023 It's open!! We stopped in tonight for some custard after driving by and seeing that they were finally open! We had a snowmonster (vanilla custard with strawberries and melted chocolate chips) with pecans added, a chocolate concrete with pecans, a chocolate concrete with peanuts and a vanilla concrete with pecans. Everyone said their was very good. I ate the vanilla concrete with pecans and the pecans were plentiful and salty, which I love! The custard was so creamy and delicious!

This shop sells fudge, truffles, candied apples, and - what I came for - ice cream! They had a lot of ice cream flavors to choose from, a least a couple dozen. The smiling young woman working behind the ice cream counter offered to give tastes, but I had already figured out which flavors I wanted. I chose two scoops in a cup, one of Cappucino Chip and the other Turtle Cheesecake. They have several tables to sit at, some along a hallway and more in a back room. I took a seat and was in awe of the huge scoops given. The Cappuccino Chip had a mild flavor (I prefer it stronger) but a fair number of tiny chocolate chips. The Turtle Cheesecake had an excellent cheesecake flavor with swirls of caramel, praline pecans, and caramel-filled mini turtles. I'm usually not fond of nuts in my ice cream but I actually enjoyed the pralines. In my humble opinion, there were too few turtles. But I still loved it. If you're in the mood for a cold, creamy treat while visiting the Alamo, you'll find this to be the perfect place to visit.

The real issue came at the cash register. The woman handling payments was, unfortunately, not kind at all. In fact, "rude" would be the most generous description. It actually took my wife about ten minutes just to complete the payment for a couple of ice creams, which felt longer than the ice cream itself took to melt. What made it even more uncomfortable was watching how she interacted with other employees. It wasn't just unprofessional--it was the kind of scene you'd expect in a low-budget psychological thriller where you start wondering if someone should call for backup. So while the ice cream itself and the front-line staff were great, the overall experience was overshadowed by the atmosphere at the register. Small, crowded, and unkind is not a combination that brings us back. We'll pass next time.
