It's a well known chain but never tried it before. The drive thru line is always wrapped around the corner for the locations that I've seen. Fourth of July weekend and there was nobody at this one. Very odd. The menu is vast - concrete, milkshakes, regular ice cream. You name it! They have special flavors like blueberry and chocolate etc. It's helpful that they have the calorie count, but this will likely put you over for the day. There's a small and a larger size. Drive thru or walk up Window ordering. Got the triple chocolate concrete small (around $6). I think the price is a little steep for one, but it's typical for dessert places nowadays. One of the few times that I've had a concrete. It was really sweet and thought it was big enough to share. But I ate the whole thing. It was very watery though and not very ice cream like? I wanted a turtle sundae from Freddy's, but COVID-19 managed to shut them down. I've never been to Andy's, so let's go! I didn't realize there is no inside seating, and the patio is closed. I got a Turtle Sundae and Mike got the Strawana, a strawberry and banana sundae. It was pretty outside, so we just munched in the parking lot. It was rich, creamy, delicious, and loaded with pecans. BEWARE: VERY ADDICTING I just moved to the area in April, and I now come to Andy's once a week AT LEAST (usually 3x/week). It's my favorite dessert by far because you can add whatever toppings you want in the custard...it's like a Sonic Blast or a DQ Blizzard but better. They don't serve anything besides dessert. My go to is a vanilla concrete with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Pretzels (perfect mix of sweet/salty and soft/crunchy. What a cute Ice cream place! I recently just discovered this place while visiting home, and immediately felt like I was transported back in time. The whole vibe of this place is very retro, and the inside appears to be clean and well-kept. I was very impressed by the service here, as my order came out almost immediately after I ordered it. So far, I have tried the Chocolate Custard Cone, Root Beer Float, and the Bone Daddy Concrete from here and all they have all been amazing. The custard here is very smooth and creamy and almost has the texture of a thicker and creamier frozen yogurt. The concretes are similar to the blizzards at DQ, but creamier, tastier, and filled with more mix-ins. I'm grateful for their drive-thru as I was still in my PJ's plus leaving a dog in the car on a hot day to get ice cream is just cruel. I ordered the Straw-Ana in a small (ok fine, it was a large) because it sort of rhymes with my name. The clerk almost convinced me to add hot fudge, but my dog was staring at me with those "don't you do it" eyes so I passed. They were very fast preparing this smooth, creamy frozen custard with strawberries and bananas. This was an excellent choice for a cheat day and took care of my sugar craving. So I'm super excited, yet also somewhat horrified, that I recently discovered Andy's. Taste buds = happy; waistline = scared. You guys, the custard here is legit. Andy's custard has the most silky smooth, creamy texture. Far better than the other custard options in the area (and there are several just right off of this small stretch of 121). Husband and I split a medium Boot Daddy Concrete (vanilla frozen custard blended with Oreo, creme caramel, and hot fudge) and it was SO GOOD. Like I already mentioned, the custard is incredibly smooth and I loved that the Oreo pieces were still perfectly crispy. The medium is a good size to share, sensibly speaking. Part of me wants to say the medium is the perfect size for just ME. There are two ways to order: walk-up windows and a drive through. There's a big ol' menu posted up front and in the drive through lane too. For concretes, you can get one of their creations or customize with whatever toppings you want. There's also splits, cones, sundaes, floats, and shakes. The drive through line was a bit long when we were there, but once at the window, service was really fast. I've been craving a sundae so I decided to drop by to see what Andy's had to offer. There's only options to drive thru or walk up. We decided to walk up. The menu was plentiful. Sundaes, shakes, splits, concretes, cones, malts, floats....I love floats!!! I was instantly undecided. I finally decided to stick with my craving and order a sundae. Got a Stolen Brownie Sundae. I was so excited for my first bite, but was quickly disappointed. There was more brownie and pecans than custard. The custard to brownie to pecan ratio was ALL jacked up. I ended up throwing it away. I will however give them another try. Maybe next time I will order extra custard on my sundae or either try the Choc-o-Rocko concrete or a Rootbeer float. read more

Second trip to this location. First product was OK, nothing special and a bit $$$$. Today, went for a shake (Was going to go to Wendy's). Ordered a Malt and Shake. $4.09 each. What we got was a cup of what looked and tasted like chocolate milk. No thick delicious Malt and Shake. In fack, so bad, my daughter didn't finish her shake. The Malt did not taste like any Malt I have had. Light on Malt powder, which had settled to a degree on the bottom of the cup, in a few little clumps. You can look at rhe product in the cups; Bubbly and frothy like a late milk, certainly not like a Shake or Malt Sorry, not a fan that would justify a premium price-point for a premium product, which this is regretfully, not. Just heard back from business owner. I applaud that they monitor their social media and not only APPRECIATE feedback, but strive to address shortcomings in process of product delivery. From my 3 visits here I can easily say there will be many more, Andy's is consistent and delicious! I have tried the snowmonster concrete and hot fudge sundae and both where great. The snowmonster was unlike what I have experienced before with chocolate chips blended in. The chips blended in where very fine and soft and I enjoyed this with the occasional strawberry halves thrown in. The portion sizes are large and can be shared, however, I did finish both myself. If you go to the side of the location, you can also watch the custard being made through the glass; something fun if you have kids with you :) TIP: If you want to try either the chocolate or vanilla custard before purchase, ask for a sample! The wife hade the Oreo concrete thingy and my daughter a small chocolate cone, I had the James Brownie, and I while I did enjoy the Brownie and peanut butter, the Fudge left a lot to be desired, for some reason it just tasted really fake and oily? I ended thowing out all the Fudge as it was uneatable for me, the other part was the Custard, just tasted very plain and average hard to describe, lacked flavour, needless to say I ended throwing away half of this EXPENSIVE product.
