I love me some Baked Bear! I can't believe I haven't written a review for it yet - always delicious & consistently amazing! Their cookies are always perfectly gooey in the center with a great crunch on the sides so they don't fall apart and crumble when eating your ice cream sandwich. You really can't go wrong with the cookie/ice cream combo and my go-to is typically snickerdoodle with cookies and cream ice cream but my husband got a brownie this last time there and that was sooo delicious too. I might have to try that next time because there will definitely be a next time! We don't have them in the Midwest so anytime I'm in Frisco for work I try really hard to make it out to the colony to grab dinner one of the nights I'm in town and stop here for dessert. Brownie on the bottom and Cookie Monster cookie on top. I got cookies and cream ice cream. My friend ordered a half dozen cookies and one of the cookie bowls with ice cream on top! The cookies and cream ice cream is delicious! Super creamy and plenty of Oreos chunks. Paired great with the Cookie Monster cookie. Their cook of the month was also very good. The lady asked if I wanted my cookies warmed for my sandwich but it seems only the brownie really got warm the cookie didn't seem like it got warmed at all but the sandwich was still good. This place is such a neat little find! We had found it randomly a few years back but never got around to trying it, parking is not the best. You do need to park in a busy lot and then walk over - it can be hard to find to find parking on a friday or saturday night. Just be prepared to walk a little bit. For reference it is next to PF Changs. We have since stopped in a few times and learned that we do not need two ice cream sandwiches at a time - toooo much food for 2 people! Unless one of us really wants their own or a specific flavor, we now choose to share. The lucky charms cookie was a special monthly offering and so far our favorite cookie! Check back monthly for new options. You can pick the cookie, ice cream flavor and a topping to go around the edge. They even have warmed brownies and cookies in case you just want ice cream on top. While walking around the entertainment center this place is located in post having dinner in the complex, my husband saw a couple indulging in ice cream sandwiches and inquired and we were pointed in the direction of the Baked Bear.
