My friend and I visited a nearby dog park and afterward decided to grab a quick drink. She loves Andytown Coffee Roasters in San Francisco, so we decided to stop by for a drink. I ordered the strawberry passion fruit plover (10/10) - it's a refreshingly delicious choice. Initially, I ordered and paid for the original bird, but when I noticed a banner advertising the strawberry passion fruit plover, I asked if I could change my order since both drinks were the same price. The cashier and barista were incredibly sweet and happily made the switch for me. I was fully expecting them to say no, but they were so kind! I thoroughly enjoyed my drink, which had a nice hint of creaminess from the whipped cream. Unfortunately, my friend's matcha latte (4.5/10) was quite watered down - the light green color gave it away even before we tasted it. ANDYTOWN I LOVE YOU!! COME TO SOCAL PLEASE!! This location seemed a bit newer but still as amazing as the other location I have been to in SF! We parked in the structure and walked up to the small but nicely decorated store. The staff were very friendly and welcoming when we walked into the store. It was pretty small but they had seating areas both inside and outside to get some work done. GET THE SNOWY PLOVERS! The original bird reminds me of an espresso tonic leveled up with their whipped cream. It had the perfect amount of sweetness and the cream was delicious when you drink it with the espresso brown sugar mixture. My friend got the matcha one and it was good as well! I am not a big matcha person but it was still enjoyable. GET THE SCONES IF THEY STILL HAVE THEM! They looked amazing and we wanted to try the seasonal pumpkin + chocolate one and it did not disappoint. It was perfectly sweet and it wasn't a typical pumpkin spice flavor - you could taste the individual chunks of the pumpkin! Overall a great experience and a must visit every time I am up in NorCal. This location is cute and chic and nestled in a complex that makes you feel bougie. The staff wasn't too friendly, they seem to be all business, no small talk, just took my order and went on to making my drink. I've been here a few times to see that they consistently operate in that fashion. I ordered a snowy plover which tasted light and refreshing. Who could go wrong with a large dollop of house made whipped cream!?!?! read more

I was told by a veteran friend that I just "have to" try Andytown coffee because its "the best". My daughter ordered the iced coffee with cream and sugar. I ordered the matched plover. I asked what it was and she said it was similar to a rootbeer float but matcha. Omg, DON'T buy it. It was freaking disgusting. Rootbeer floats are sweet and yummy. I even added about 6 sugar packets and nothing would make it drinkable, I took one sip and spit it out and threw the drink away. If you like seltzer water you might like it. But it was seltzer water with a tiny bit of matcha powder. My daughter drank about half of her drink. read more

Ok. Cute. LOVE this location for them, so beautifully done. Design, and location just great. Went to visit the fam over the weekend, I remembered I had this place in my bookmarks, I've been to their Sunset original location and I love everything about them. The coffee is superb, their baked goods/sandwiches are delish! So I had to check out their new location of course! Andytown has done it, they got it all down; quality, service, location, design, & overall a well executed mini chain coffee company. Absolutely great. Bravo! read more

Stopped by on a Monday morning around 8am after a long drive. The space is super cute and parking was easy. I had a coffee and also a strawberry scone. Both were so so tasty - especially the scone!! This is a perfect place with a great vibe and bright natural light to enjoy your morning coffee. read more

First of all, if you're in a hurry, don't come here! BUT the coffee and everything is amazing! It's just slow service. But totally worth it if you have time to hang out for a bit. Parking is a bit inconvenient if there's none in the road. You have to go down into a parking garage and after November 4, you have to pay for the parking there. So once again, if you don't have time to hang out, you wouldn't want to come here because you might end up having to pay for parking. But if you have time, you can park down the street and walk in. They made the best pumpkin latte I've ever had! read more

I'm so happy Andytown has come to Palo Alto! They deserve a lot more locations along the peninsula. I really do love their matcha latte. Basic, but very good and not so sweet. I asked for it to be sweetened with honey and thankfully they accommodate that. The only thing I wish they had was soy milk as a milk alternative, but I'll gladly settle for whole milk until they do. Lovely staff working on 8/2 (Tuesday) around noon. Super welcoming and nice, and our drinks were made perfectly. There are only a few tables inside to do work on, but there are lots of seating outside and in the plaza. Overall, a lovely location and definitely worth coming to before a normal work day begins! read more

A few people in line on a Sunday morning when we went, 90s-00s jams playing through the speakers. We tried the OG bird and ordered breakfast sandwiches. The OG bird is worth a try, something different and distinctive flavor. I would try other drinks my next go around, but would order the same sandwich again. I love Andytown! I love the matcha and hot lattes! The inside is amazing to work in but there are very limited indoor seats! There is no outlets that are accessible to work in but there is wifi! I love how kind the baristas are and highly recommend! read more

Snowy plover is decadent and excellent. Espresso, brown sugar syrup, sparkling water, dollop of house whipped cream on top. It looks really pretty with all the layers, but the best way to go is to mix it all up so the cream combines with the drink. The cream isn't super sweet but it adds an amazing rich creaminess, like a latte but even better. At the same time, the sparkling water adds bubbles and a lift so it's not just heavy dairy. It's great for a summer treat! read more

Coffee that never disappoints! You can tell the quality for their coffee is top tier, I go once a week at this point to get the brown sugar almond milk latte. The staff is super nice and I am always in and out of there in a few minutes. The place is cute and they sell funny greeting cards which I think is a great touch! read more

Came in today 3/30 as a 1st time customer - Drink was not made correctly - asked for sweetener as my drink was sour and was told sweetener was already put into the drink - then asked for creamer and was told to reach over other customers open cup drinks to reach in and pour it myself (which I'm capable of doing myself if it was in a more open space) - not a very pleasant experience for leaving a big tip -DEFINITELY WONT RETURN or recommend this particular location read more

I tried Andytown in SF city and then realized they opened another one in Menlo Park. It's a great spot for business meetings or coffee catch-ups. However, it's on El Camino Real so the parking sometimes can be challenging! read more

This Andytown is in a wonderful location right on El Camino, and the inside of the shop is very nice. With that being said, the woman who was serving me today was extremely rude. It was very surprising. It's a shame that you go to a nice place and the person serving you acts as though they have contempt for the customer. It's a terrible way to do business, and I will not go here again. read more

Love the vibe of this place. This location seems relatively new, so there was not a lot of people here, but wouldn't be surprised if it starts getting super busy soon. However not a lot of seating, not a great place to work as there are no outlets in sight. Can't go wrong with their Original Bird. New take on the traditional iced espresso. So glad I don't have to drive all the way to San Francisco for this anymore. read more

Ok, alllll of my friends have been raving about this place for the past two weeks and I am fortunate enough to have a location so close by. Yesterday and today I went in to try two of their specialty drinks, the matcha latte and the matcha plover. I've never seen something like their plover drink and I love the whipped cream on top. The people who work there are friendly and the store gives off an indie vibe which I like. I also tried the currant scone which was crunchy and tasty. I definitely want to come back and try more of their teas and lattes :) read more

whatever you do, don't order the matcha plover. it's literally terrible, you're better off drinking a la croix and having someone spit matcha into your mouth as that's what it tastes like, but worse. they will not remake the drink for you, which could be understandable in some instances, but how would one know how bad this drink simply is... would not recommend. i usually like this place but this drink is unacceptable read more

A super cute cafe! I tried the original bird which is an interesting combination of soda and coffee. The regular latte was good too but the espresso taste was not very strong. There's a parking structure right next door and there's lots of outdoor seating. I don't think they have wifi here so this would be a nice place to hang out but maybe not for work! read more

i've never had coffee like andytown's! andytown has quick service & great ambiance to get some work done. they also played bladee here so shoutout to the workers the original bird (10/10): my bf LOOOVED this drink so much that he wants to go back and order two to go. the perfect mix of smooth coffee, fizz, and cream. this drink wasn't super sweet but was perfectly sweetened by the whipped cream matcha plover (10/10): wow i was not expecting to love this so much. i'm not a huge sparkling water fan but wanted to try this regardless. this is essentially matcha cream soda. if i had to improve anything, i would ask for slightly more whipped cream overall, i love andytown and i'll be a frequent visitor whenever i'm in the area. read more

I wish this review could be higher. My favorite thing from Andytown is actually the breakfast sandwich, but half the time this particular location doesn't have it for one reason or another. Once it was the cook being out sick. Another time it was that they didn't have time to prep... all understandable, but at some point, there needs to be consistency operating a cafe? There's no phone number provided so we can't call ahead to check. We drive 20+ minutes for a breakfast that turns out to be just coffee time and again... Management: Please provide a reachable # at the very least, and/or reliable food. read more

Love seeing one of my SF favorites in Menlo Park! Absolutely delicious lattes and matcha. Smaller location so gets busy and loud quickly and didn't have wifi or an open bathroom for guests when I visited. Great for a grab and go. Service is fast and workers are kind. read more

One of the better drug dealers in the area with a well-deserved national reputation, Andytown is the real deal. An espresso shot from here can and does quite literally make my day. Props to Ben for being super kind and generous with his advice on pulling espresso shots. Sure, it's easier when you're rocking La Marzocco machinery that probably costs close to 30K. But the job of a great barista requires skill, plus art, plus discipline and resilience. Thanks for coming to Menlo Park, Andytown! Your beans are well worth the $$$, IMHO. read more

This cafe specializes in Asian inspired drinks, roll cakes, basque cheesecakes, as well as Japanese puddings. The interior is super Japandi / minimalistic aesthetic. Their desserts have also been officially marked as "not too sweet" by my inlaws so you know it's got that Asian parent stamp of approval! I haven't tried the basque cheesecakes and the puddings, but have been a repeat customer for their roll cakes. So far I've tried their matcha, coffee, and black sesame roll cakes and all are fantastic. Super strong flavors and the chiffon cake isn't too dry. I will say for a single slice the price is quite steep, but it /is/ located in Palo Alto so rent is not cheap I would assume. I'm no stranger to Andytown's SF locations, but this time I visited their Menlo Park store and tried the seasonal Minty Mocha. The Minty Mocha was a refreshing twist on the classic--perfectly balanced with a hint of mint that wasn't too overpowering, paired with rich, smooth mocha. The drink was a nice seasonal treat, offering a nice balance of chocolate and mint flavors. If you're a fan of Andytown's quality drinks and are in the Menlo Park area, it's definitely worth checking out. While it's a bit of a different vibe compared to the SF locations, the quality and creativity of their drinks still shine through. read more

This cute coffee shop is in a nice, walkable plaza. Their matcha was on point, and the barista totally nailed it by adding some mint for me. The breakfast sandwich was amazing, especially with that house-made hot sauce. My friend got a coffee topped with their whipped cream, and it was fantastic. Coming from crappy coffee that you had to add sugar and cream to to make it palatteable, I took my very first sip of that Guatamalan straight black and instantly had my mind blown. I got it immediately... That was the day I understood that there was coffee out there in the world that didn't need anything and could be enjoyed as is.. Out of curiosity, a friend ended up adding sugar to their drink, and ya... it ended up making it taste worse.. Fast forward to the other day when I came back to ZombieRunner for the first time post shoes going away.. While I will remember ZombieRunner for its former selection of athletic shoes and equipment, I am so grateful that their coffee continues on. I ordered their Zombie Proof coffee and while there were certainly other things added to the drink, the flavor of the India Mysore beans that they use primarily in the store shines thru.
