Came in recently for dinner for the first time and immediately fell in love with the cute aesthetic and fun ambiance. Despite being a Friday night and the dining room having a good crowd, we were able to be seated with no issues. They have a very extensive menu and it took me a while of flipping through before I settled on some queso for the table, the Quesabirria Plate for my entree, and the Coco Loco cocktail. The food and drink were tasty but not the best Quesabirria I've ever had ( I live in Texas though so it's stiff competition) but service was fast and again it was a super cute aesthetic. We also saw them doing a couple of tableside "shot-style" presentations for some birthdays going on. After dinner, we hopped over to the adjoining ice cream/dessert area for some yummy ice cream and churros to go. Anejo seems like a great addition to the 52 area between Goose Creek and Moncks Corner. My best friend lives right down the road so I'm sure I'll be back soon during a visiti home!

Anejo is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area! Whenever we have friends or family visit that love Mexican, we always bring them here! Anejo has a super cool vibe with vibrant murals, comfy booths and amazing customer service! Everyone that works here is kind and helpful, the servers are all friendly and will give you suggestions if you are not sure what to order. We love to go during Happy Hour, at Anejo they do Happy Hour seven days a week. They have awesome drink specials! The food is all amazing! At Anejo, they have an extensive menu with so many flavorful options. My husband's favorite is the Tequila special, it's a huge plate of meats, steak, chicken and sausage served with beans and rice, tortillas and cheese. I love the Anejo quesadilla with chicken. The food presentation is lovely, the quesadillas are served with a pretty, little flower. There are so many yummy options. We have a child that doesn't love Mexican as much as we do and he orders the kids burger and fries. I know, I know.. we try to get him to try something different but he loves their burgers. The kids meals are a great value with generous portions. We also love the churros! Anejo has a separate cute dessert place called "Dulce" that has all kinds of sweet, yummy options.. ice cream, milkshakes and churros. We will continue to visit the fabulous Anejo Tacos as often as possible!

Great vibes and bites at Anejo! Their cocktail list reminds me of Dulce's - extensive variety, pretty presentation, and fun flavors! I felt full from their empanada dish and the beans & rice combo is usually my top favorite. The music and service is lively as well! Anejo does fundraising nights every 2nd Tuesday and 3rd Thursday, I believe. One of my church members texted me that they donate 10% of sales but didn't know until later that it was select times of the month only. There's also a 10% off coupon featured in the Immaculate Conception church bulletin but I forgot that at home oops!

SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! NOW! I took myself on a little Friday date night and it was a beautiful experience from beginning to end. The atmosphere is phenomenal. I love all the colors, art work, lights, and tables. I appreciated that the tables were of varying size, shape, and height which made the space seem more open and less crowded. My server (I believe his name was Jared) was a sweet kid. He was attentive and chatty, but not too chatty. I've been to Anejo's sister location multiple times so I knew what I was getting in terms of food, but I was unsure about the consistency of the quality. The blueberry pomegranate is my favorite of the flavored margaritas. The strength is all relative, but I will say that I'm a light weight and I needed to be one and done. I'm glad I didn't get a flight like I initially wanted haha. The chips lacked salt, but the salsa was a pleasant mild to medium chunky salsa (read: not tomato sauce). The only thing negative about my experience there was the Mexican sushi. I really wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone and try something different. And different it was - not in a good way. I was a good attempt at creating fusion, but it was just bad. I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be a hot roll or cold, spicy or tangy or sweet for that matter. The mayo drizzle was not it. It was more mayo than anything. Adding ginger and soy sauce did not help. I TRIED to like it. I had three pieces before I gave up. I believe this is a new item and it's definitely not for me. Maybe it will be for you? I typically get the steak bowl since I'm a notorious "I can't decide what I want" kind of person. It hits all the spots for me in terms of texture, flavor, and value. I will say much of the pickled onion was not pickled just onion so that was a little disappointing. I ended my meal with the classic churros with a dulce de leche dipping sauce. The first churro was delicious and the sauce had great flavor although I wish it was a bit thicker, but that's a preference. The second churro was MUCH harder. More like it was worked too much and very dense. I still ate it cause I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors. It was $60 for everything with tip and plenty of leftovers (aside from the sushi, no thank you) - a steal in today's economy. Please visit this establishment so they stay. Lovely employees, delicious food, and fun environment. Let's keep them here!

The food was good I ordered, The Texas dip. The drink was good I had a margarita. The service was ok I had to ask for chips and silverware. I wouldn't have known it was cash only if the person next to me didn't mention it. My server/ bartender wouldn't have said a thing.

Came here for Valentine's day expecting to have a long wait since they were very busy, but we were seated really quick. The interior was really pretty but I was most impressed by the drink menu! They had a lot options for cocktails. The food was absolutely delicious as well! Anejo is now one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the area!

After weeks of looking at their Instagram, I finally got to try Anejo on New Year's Day! I must say, the vibes are on point when you come in! The restaurant is very clean and visually appealing! We were seated right away and our server came with water and chips. From their Instagram, I was so excited to try their Rosa Mexicana drink! I also LOVED that their drink menu had pictures! I am such a visual person and yes I will pick a pretty drink over one less appealing. The presentation was amazing! It came in a smoker dome and the drink itself was smoky, fruity, floral and sweet! It was amazing! We ordered the Mexican corn queso and ya girl loves everything elote so this was delicious! I ordered the quesabirria plate for my meal. The meat was super juicy and I loved the broth it came with! My second drink was unfortunately way to strong for me. I had the bartender try to fix it to make it less strong but I still could not drink it. The Coco Loco is very tequila forward and not very sweet, if that's your thing go for it. I would recommend checking this place out. I will say that their food is on the pricier side so be aware of that before going!

When you enter this restaurant they have decorated it very well to make you appreciate being there. When we were sat the server came out almost immediately and took our drink orders. Looking at the menu you could see a vast array of fusion style Mexican food. Several of the foods appeared very tasteful with how they were described and my only complaint is that it is definitely upscale based on the price. You will get good service and a great ambiance but you will also get a more empty wallet

Came here after visiting the Cypress Gardens down the road. The restaurannt is a very llarge space with a bar and outdoor seating. We started with the Mezcal Queso Fundido. I'd never had this dish before and it was delicious!! It's melted cheese with meta and served with chips. 100% recommend! I ordered the chicken quesadilla and it was great. It wasn't served with sour cream so I asked for a side and we were charged for it :/ Service was attentive and pleasant! We didn't try it, but there is a little ice cream shop attached ta the side of the restaurant - looked absolutely delicious and they even serve little churro cartss with different different sauces.

We had a great time! The service was amazing. We were provided a few recommendations as this was a of our first time dining here. The ambiance is beautiful. There are many backdrops that will make for great photos including selfie mirrors in the bathroom. The food was great with large portions. I celebrated my graduation and was provided a free shot!

I have been a cult follower of Brittany Simms for over 10 years. I have watched this entrepreneur…read morerise, struggle, grow, and succeed. I have seen the prolific overcomer and powerful business woman she is, absolutely thrive!! That being said, I've wanted nothing more than to find her food and try it whether on the truck or at the restaurant. Well last night, I FINALLY had my opportunity! I was so excited, ya'll! Ive been anticipating the divinely juicy, perfectly seasoned box of the very blueprint of a low country boil by a low country life long resident who knows how to plate and sell out!!! Now to the initial ambiance & first interactions: I wanted a plethora of menu options, but being allergic to shrimp I wanted options that were void of any. I decided on 2 Garlic Crab Legs & Veggies Lobster 6 Garlic Oysters (raw) The restaurant even went the extra mile to provide my family a military discount! Coming into the establishment initially, it was ice cold on a 110 degree day. The vibe & atmosphere was completely laid back, friendly, but missing restrooms. A warm, friendly, young, studious and enthused cashier greeted me & my entourage with a gentle, shy, smile & hello. She was very helpful and went above & beyond to complete my to-go order. Me being a different culture didn't sway her whatsoever. She was so pleasant to work with! I informed here I was visiting from the Florence area but I am from Idaho. I wanted my oysters raw if there were any available. She obliged and informed me upon returning from the kitchen that not only could she sell me the oysters raw, but offered to put my garlic sauce to the side, and place my oysters on a bed of ice to keep ice cold on the return home. I was ECSTATIC! I was so exhilarated! I was more than eager to give my food a try. I was given a pager and informed my order would be ready shortly. It only took 18 minutes to make me MOUNTAINS of crab, plate up an ENORMOUS sized order of oysters, and the lovely cashier even walked my order to my table by the door! I was completely taken aback & so grateful for the love and kindness! After my drive home and anticipation that built a kingdom in 1.9 hours, I finally arrived to my castle. I swiftly dismantled my huge order of 4 boxes of the BEST seafood boils in America- UNTIL IT WAS NOT. I warmed up the lobster tail first. Less than 2oz for $14 Sweet and faint flavor of the lobster tail, but lacking in juices of the crustacean because it was cut. No seasoning or spice, but with the butter glob, it aided somewhat. I re-iced the oysters after making a stop to the local grocer to purchase lemons & to-go hot sauce (which they don't offer) I sliced the lemon, evenly dispursed some juice over the oysters, & lathered in a light swath of hot sauce & horseradish. I unboxed the food order in a few photos to show people how perfect the presentation was, as it has consistently been rendered for a decade. I bought the crab boxes because my children are big fans of seafood & I have always read & seen Britt Bratt post she was the best in the country. After warming up the food and dispersing it amongst my family, comments began circulating. Oh this don't taste good. Where's the seasoning? These are salty. Why are they watery? So I gave a potato, egg & leg a try. The crab meat was very oversaturated with water. There was not a single speck of seasoning in the shell. There weren't any added ingredients to flavor the water they were cooked on the clusters. There was a faint but miniscule hint of butter flavor. The salt was iodized & after each bite becaem overwhelming. The sausage & corn were naked! Outside of the added parsley and butter on top of the boil, that was it. No spice. No flavor. Just water seasoned crab & veggies. The corn was previously frozen. The sausage was cut into slices a fraction of an inch, usually typical of Jambalaya, not seafood boils. It was then I came to the realization. Britt Bratt's is ALL hype. Customers that never had correctly seasoned, adequately spiced, & abundantly flavored food that has been made with expert precision & execution call it "delicious". But me? Water flavored seafood with a hint of butter is not food. It's not good, delicious, or made with devout passion. Not only was I shocked, I was appalled. I was in complete disbelief. The celebrities. The recognition. The fierce reputation. All garnered by family, friends, & people that have been moved by misleading raving experiences of people that love water flavored boils. All I could do was cry. 11 years of admiration, $90 of hard earned money not to mention the $60 gas I spent on the trip. For slightly salt water seasoned food that looked pretty, but tasted indistict.

I would change the name because the name suggests they have oysters only and it turns out there is more, not a whole lot but enough for a non oysterholic to come in and have something to eat while you chug an ale or one of the shots with a slimy thing in it I got to try a shot of something that tasted like bloody Mary's mix with an oyster inside, I felt the slimy thing going down the hatch and later ordered a dozen or so oysters Parmesan, cooked taste a little like scallops, not bad and I could go back and try something else The calamari was ok, not as great as I can make them if I had a fryer with a thermostat, the batter was a little too thick and I tend to like them with a see through batter not a filler, it was crunchy ok but maybe a little overcooked and not a lot of people know that calamari should be flash fried for about a minute and if you go beyond that is like the Michelin man The place is fun and be prepared for a loud environment because it is small but go with an open mind and it is a nice different experience I will go back and try their fish and chips

I was told to seat myself at the bar, I guess because I was by myself, but instead of the bartender taking my order like is normal when you are seated at the bar, a server came by and stood next to me to take my order and explain the menu. I ordered the Weekend Special (it's call that, but you can order it at any time, same for the other specials), hush puppies, and sausage. One thing very different here is they cook the food in a plastic bag with a sauce mixed in, so you pick a sauce at the time of order. Service was fast and friendly. I don't want to get anyone in trouble by going into detail, but some of the people behind the bar were pretty unprofessional. Not to me directly or to customers, but the conversations employees were having should have been done somewhere not in front of customers. Hush puppies were both sweet and savory which I like. Shrimp, potatoes, and crab came out done well. Lobster tail was tough and rubbery. The sausage was fine, tasted like Hillshire Farms or an equivalent which is fairly meh to me but I know lots of folks like that. I really did not care for the food being cooked in the sauce. I had some in Cajun and some in garlic and butter, and it was just too heavy for me. I really just like me seafood bare and dip it in some melted butter and lemon pretty lightly, so having a few cups of sauce in each bag of food was just way too much for my tastes. This is a personal preference thing so I am not knocking stats for it, but I didn't care for this style (plus it was super messy), and I don't want all the extra calories from a sauce. Price was pretty good for the amount of food I had. J.Ja
