It took us some time to find it (it's behind the KFC on Bus. 64), but when we saw the gorgeous seafood counter, we knew this bright, clean restaurant was going to be good. We got a table pretty quickly, but it took some time for us to decide before we finally ordered at the counter. My fried oysters were fantastic! They were crisp but not greasy, and the flavor of the oysters came through the breading. My friend liked his mahi-mahi with a side of fries, but our server said "I don't like the look of those fries." She brought him another order of them! Honestly, they were fine, but they didn't meet her standards, so she made sure they were right. Highly overpriced seafood ... coming from a family of fishermen from the coast. The staff were rude and rushing. The owner was extremely rude when I complained about my crab legs being cold. Crab legs are currently are at a all time high influx and lowest prices than ever .... Yet they charge the highest prices and beyond. The remodel definitely helped with the ambiance... but not as a whole with staff and a rude racist owner. Hidden gem. If you're in the Knightdale area, this is one of the best places for seafood in my opinion. Reasonably priced and full of flavor! I just visited, I thought the red snapper I ordered was delicious and the okra was so good. They give you a lot of okra. The greens were fine and seasoned. The flounder was fresh but nice and crispy and so was the red snapper. The hush puppies was not to over power but just enough corn meal and not to chewy. I was honestly going to go to Moe's for some nachos, but I saw all of the signs on the road for A'Nets Katch and they advertised fresh seafood. They had a phone number on the sign so I called them and asked if they were a restaurant, or just sold seafood. They said they were a restaurant. It is a tiny little place that you would never find unless you were looking for it. There are only 5 booth seats in the place, so as soon as one person stands up, somebody else sits down. I am very sad that Anet's Katch failed us a second time. I really wanted to like this place because my father in law loves their FRIED FISH and I ADORE fried oysters and I live nearby. The first time I ordered oysters there about a year and a half ago, they were great. I recommended them to my daughter who had a hankering for them. She came over with them and ate a few and was disappointed. They sadly were OVERLY SALTY. I recommended she take them back but she refused. I usually go to McCalls's in Clayton to get my AYCE oyster fix but they officially closed. Saturday I ordered a pint and a half of fresh fried oysters only to not be able to eat them. They were over breaded which I would of course accept BUT THEY WERE SO SALTY THEY WERE INEDIBLE. No, I couldn't take them back because I ordered them right before they closed. I first heard about A'Nets from a Yelp Elite who lives in Knightdale. He said I must try it so I finally did today! When I looked it up I was so surprised because it's literally down the street from me. I had driven right past it previously but never knew it was there. You'd definitely miss it if you didn't know about it. It's located in a small strip mall next to Walmart. When I walked in, I realized how small it was. They only had 5 booths and they were all full. They were pretty busy even for a Wednesday. They had people come in and out the entire we were there. We ended up ordering choices of 4 items (flounder, popcorn shrimp, regular shrimp, and tilapia), Mac and cheese, fries, and a cheddar biscuit. Needlessly to say that was a lot of food for 2 people lol I think we would've been just fine with choices of 2 or 3 with 2 sides. They did have daily specials so I think I'll try that next time! Looking for a restaurant to eat in Knightdale, I found this little homey place on yelp. People here are super friendly and the seafoods are fresh. You have the option of buying fresh seafood and making it at home yourself or have them cook it for you. They have tables there if you wanted to eat there. We ate the fresh clams and oysters before I was able to take a picture. The price is very cheap and well worth a visit of your time. Tried this place this past weekend and it was definitely worth the trip. I used the Yelp app to place an order for pickup as they were closing about an hour later. I was a little concerned about placing an order so late thinking the quality would be lacking. However, I'm grateful to have been proved wrong. Upon arrival I was surprised to see people still dining in, again, as it was close to closing time. Everyone behind the counter was exceptionally friendly and courteous. While I, very briefly, waited I saw all sorts of seafood items that I'd love to go back and try. I didn't wait long at all as my order was ready to go. I got the catfish dinner with a cheddar biscuit, fries and steamed broccoli. I also got an order of whiting with green beans, corn and cornbread for my friend. My meal was good - all of it. The fish was seasoned and fried perfectly, the biscuit was yummy, and the steamed broccoli even had a sprinkle of Old Bay. The fries were a bit too crunchy but it didn't matter, the star of meal - the fish - was delicious. My friend enjoyed their meal too...particularly the fish and green beans. Been wanting to try this place for a while. It did not disappoint. It was a little confusing at first, as it's not a full blown restaurant. It's closer to "fast casual" style in that you order and pay at the counter and then sit down, although a waiter will occasionally check on you. But never mind how the food gets to you -- how about that food? OH YES. This is the real deal. Everything we ordered was immediately impressive and continued to satisfy throughout. Once again, it is not fancy for sure. You won't even get real silverware, just plastic forks and a paper towel roll. But you won't care. Just dig in. The crab dip was sublime. Just this real deep, rich flavor, not overpowering and salty, but just right. The fried catfish -- smooth as butter, fell apart on the fork. A tiny bit of hot sauce (always available on the table) kicks it up a little extra if you're so inclined. And it comes with more than enough tartar sauce, a special blend that feels just north of remoulade. Our only mistake was ordering a little too much. This was because we (understandably) had no idea how big the shrimp & grits would be. Take a look at a picture and you'll see why. But they've got you covered; they give it to you in a To-Go box right off the bat. Well played. The flavor on this is just unreal. The green onion, red onion, and bacon are DEEP throughout this thing. It's basically your own personal shrimp & grits casserole in a styrofoam box, with shrimp as the top layer. Our only disappointment was the side of mac & cheese. I briefly tried it but it was immediately obvious that it didn't deserve to be on the same plate as the other stuff. No harm done, better luck next time. The staff were all incredibly friendly. From what I've heard of the place, they're all treated well, and it shows. You feel the love the whole time you're in there. This was our first time, but it definitely won't be the last. read more

The onion rings were a little soggy but I think it's because they put them under the fish in the container - but the flavor was on point.
