I had Cherry do my regular mani and Kim do my gel pedi. Kim's work was spectacular! honestly I would give HER a 5/5. She really focused on my nails despite us chatting away. She got rid of all my dead skin and my feet look super cute. I would come back just FOR HER only. She only started chatting AFTER she finished my pedi to make sure she focused on the service which now I truly appreciate. My manicure on the other hand was a complete disaster by Cherry. We related a lot because we spoke the same language and honestly she reminded me of an aunt. I didn't even realize HOW bad it was until I got into my car and I already had to leave. I did notice that she didn't spend a lot of time on my hands and she didn't do an extra layer of polish like most other techs to make my nails even looking. It also hurt when she was working on me as well. You can still see streaks of regular nail on them and the paint job was just bad. I understand its regular mani but I've never had it look like this before. I got my mani on Friday 8/8 and today is tuesday 8/12 the paint already chipped and my fingers look damaged. I paid roughly $80 since I had to tip both of them, and it was definitely not worth that price. I wanted to be a long time customer but after looking at my hands, I don't want to come back. For her its definitely a 1/5. Yeah, we talked but I think she slacked off bc she assumed I wouldn't say anything or complain. Everything was exactly as she said it would be. My nails are shaped just as I like. There is no nail polish where it should not be. All the implements she used were clean. She gave me the best massage. The massage chair worked well. The salon was nice and quiet. She offered me water, coffee, wine, or iced tea. I chose the iced tea and it was so delicious! They spoke their language for a while and then they had a man come and when I told him it was a Gel X nail ... they spoke their language again and then told me to wait that someone else would come . The lady replaced my nail she was nice. But when I went to pay, I expected maybe a 5 to 7 dollar fee and they charged me $10 for 1 gel x nail nude. I was shocked.is this normal? I think that's why the man didn't answer my question. And my dumb self was in a hurry so I didn't repeat the question.. At the end when she gave me the price I told her that had I known they were going to charge me $10. I would've not got it replaced there. I feel like I got scammed because the man purposely did not answer my question. I made an appointment over the phone for Gel-X removal and a new Gel-X set. At no point was I asked…read morewhether I wanted nail art/designs, which I didn't think would be an issue at a nail salon. When I arrived, I had to explain the design I wanted to three different people. Two of them weren't even my nail tech-- they were explaining the design to her for me, which honestly should've been a red flag from the beginning. I showed an inspiration photo for a design they initially said they could do, but pretty early on it became obvious that the nail tech assigned to me wasn't capable of recreating it. I ended up switching to a different, simpler design and showed her another inspo photo instead. While she was doing the chrome, I noticed immediately that it looked completely different from the inspiration picture. The chrome was extremely shiny and glittery compared to the softer finish in the reference photo. I asked her multiple times about it, and each time she brushed it off and said she would put something on top later to tone it down. I kept trying to trust the process, but it became harder and harder. The entire time, the other worker-- who later ended up taking over my nails-- was sitting right next to us and had clearly overheard me repeatedly questioning the design, especially the chrome, and pointing out that it looked much more shimmery than the inspo photo. Despite that, he never stepped in or checked on the situation until I directly asked him myself. Things got worse when she started the 3D flowers on my last two nails. The first flower already looked noticeably different from the inspo, so I had to keep correcting it. Then she showed me the "finished" flower on the other hand, and not only did it look nothing like the inspiration picture, it didn't even match the flower on the first hand. At this point, I had already been sitting there for around 2.5 hours with nails I was extremely unhappy with. I eventually asked the more experienced worker -- who had been helping explain the design earlier -- to take a look. He immediately agreed that the chrome looked wrong. He ended up taking over my appointment entirely and had to redo EVERY SINGLE NAIL by drilling off some of the previous work. He redid all of the chrome, 3D art, and even parts of the French tips because the original work was that poorly done. The appointment ended up taking 3.5 hours total, which is much longer than any Gel-X appointment I've ever had, especially considering most of the time was spent fixing mistakes. What disappointed me most was that after all of this, there was no apology, acknowledgment, or attempt to make the situation right. The only thing I was told was that I should mention ahead of time if I want designs because "not everyone at the salon can do designs." That response confused me because: 1. I did explain I wanted a design as soon as I arrived. 2. If certain techs can't do nail art, appointments should be assigned appropriately from the start. I honestly wasn't planning on leaving a bad review- I still tipped despite everything lol-- but it's now been only 5 days since my appointment and one of the charms has already fallen off. On top of that, the gold charms have already tarnished, which has never happened to me before at any other salon. You can also see in the photos that my cuticles were over-filed/over-cleaned to the point that they look irritated, and there's visible excess gel on the sides of several nails. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience, especially for the amount of time and money spent.

Kathy did a great job with my manicure. As soon as another lady started with my pedicure I told her I had an ingrown nail in my right toe and I would appreciate it if she could get it out. I could see her trying to get it out and I see she pulls a piece of skin and I am thinking she will stop and cut it as soon as she takes it out, instead she keeps pulling my skin to the point where she peels off the front of my skin. A think layer by the way (as you can see in the picture). The gentleman that answers the phone walks around and he did noticed the lady had hurt my toe and didn't said anything. Looks like he is the supervisor or something, I thought he would say something when I was paying, but he didn't. I didn't want to argue because I already knew I wasn't going to come back. My nails were previously done elsewhere, but they were already almond-shaped and I wanted to maintain that shape. During the filing process, the technician filed very aggressively and actually cut two of my fingers. Despite explaining the shape I wanted, I never got the result I was asking for. The French tips were the biggest disappointment. They looked uneven and already appeared days old despite being freshly done. Throughout the appointment, I respectfully pointed out areas I wanted adjusted, but each correction seemed to make the lines thicker or more uneven. I felt like my feedback wasn't being heard. The appointment took nearly 1 hour and 45 minutes for a very simple design. As the technician became visibly frustrated, I eventually said the nails were fine because I felt that was the best result I was going to get and I just wanted to leave. When I explained that I needed to go, she still turned the drill back on and started reworking a nail instead of respecting my time. I had to leave to pick up my son from basketball practice, and I shouldn't have had to justify that. The entire experience felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. I understand that French tips can be challenging to perfect, but I expected better communication, more attention to detail, and respect for my feedback. Unfortunately, I left unhappy with my nails and wishing I had spent my money elsewhere. I would have preferred a refund so I could have them corrected by another technician.
