    Pepperoni Pizza
    Andrew P.

Came here to try their pizza that they only sell on Wednesdays. Pepperoni pizza was HUGE. We thought we were gonna get a personal sized pie so we almost ordered 2. You have to "reserve" a pizza through DM or email (?) in order to get placed on a time slot for pick up. No biggie. The pizza was worth it. It's a large pie with huge slices. They also had free wine (red and white) at the ordering station which was very nice. It's not a heavy pour but free is free. The pizza was crisp, fresh, and flavorful. The tomato sauce was very tomatoey with just the right amount of flavoring. There was a thin layer of cheese evened out well throughout. The crust was thin but definitely not a thin crust pizza. There was enough to enjoy at the ends. The oil that they used to cook the pizza was something i don't think we've ever had at any other place that sells pizza. I believe it might have been some sort of chili oil? Not sure but it was great. They have a seating area outside with some wooden benches, saw a couple families having a good time with their kids. The place has great vibes. You can find parking all along the street in neighboring houses. 9/10

THIS IS THE BEST CORTADO I'VE EVER HAD…read more Day 6 has been on my list for quite some. Upon arrival, I was met with excellent music and a warm greeting. Once I reached the counter, the gentleman helped me with selecting a coffee and even answered a few clarifying questions I had about ingredients. I got 2 cortados (I drank the first one so fast that I needed another one), a vanilla latte (sweet but balanced), and two croissants (almond and chocolate). My friends got a cheesecake latte (cupcake dominant and didn't have enough cookie butter flavoring), a white mocha hot chocolate (pretty good), and a blueberry muffin (amazingly soft, flavorful, and balanced). All together, I'll be coming back much more often!!!

I also tried one of their muffins, and it was absolutely delicious. Another 5/5! The only thing that disappointed me was the coffee. I asked the barista for a recommendation and specifically mentioned that I wanted a coffee that wasn't too sweet. She recommended a drink, and I trusted her suggestion. Unfortunately, when I tried it, it was much sweeter than I was expecting. I understand recommendations are subjective, so I don't blame anyone,it just wasn't what I was looking for. Because of that, I'd give the coffee 1/5. It simply wasn't to my taste. Overall, the great service and delicious muffin were definite highlights, but the coffee experience brought my overall rating down to 3/5.

A couple of friends and I wandered in early on a Sunday for breakfast/brunch. I ordered the scrambled‑egg and turkey‑bacon tacos with a flat white, one friend had the chilaquiles (he thought they could've used a bit more flavor and some avocado), and my other friend went for the French toast with an iced coffee. We had a great conversation over a delicious meal and solid coffee, and the steady stream of adorable dogs around us was the perfect bonus. I'd read some reviews complaining about the service, but ours was totally fine--especially for an early Sunday morning. It probably helps to be patient if they're short‑staffed, but we had no issues at all.

It's on the east side of 59 freeway and only a few blocks from the famous Huynh Vietnamese restaurant. We strolled over on a Sunday morning around 9 am and tried a few items: - Make Ya Halo: expensive but really good. You gotta love oat milk if you wanna like this drink. It's served in a foldable paper cup, so that's kinda weird, but also makes me feel like I'm saving the earth by purchasing this $9 drink. - pho beef kolache: one of a kind and you gotta try it. I found it pleasantly surprising. It was served hot and a fair size that won't completely fill you up but it ain't no sample size either. I loved it. - Thai banana pudding: this was the highlight. I'm not sure if it's a seasonal item, but if they have it, you gotta get it. It was delicious and the perfect amount of sweetness. Service was extra pleasant, and though the indoor seating is limited, the outdoor seating is plentiful. Ambiance is hip and cool as one would expect from an EaDo shop. Enjoy!
