Came here for lunch and really enjoyed the food. I ordered the tostada de ceviche and the taco El Gobernador, and both were delicious. The ceviche tasted fresh and well-balanced, and the taco had great flavor. The quality of the food definitely stood out. Service had a few small hiccups. When we were seated, we were asked about drinks right away, which caught us a little off guard since we had just received the menus. Our server did her best to take our order from memory, but since our party had a few modifications, we ended up going over the order again to make sure everything was correct. The food took a bit longer than expected to come out, even though there was only one other table seated when we arrived. The music also became quite loud at random times, which made conversation a little difficult. Overall, the food was very good and I'd return for that alone. Found out about this place through some recommendations online! I was excited to come by, they close at midnight which isn't bad at all for Mexican restaurants, especially one that offers more than tacos, burritos, nachos, or asada fries. Even before walking in, the music and karaoke can be heard from outside the restaurant, so best believe inside is extremely loud! I didn't mind it, it felt as if I was at a family party. The DJ was great, with high energy and a good playlist. The food was great, it took a while because it's made to order. So it's fresh and hot! I ordered a green wet burrito with al pastor, it exceeded my expectations in flavor, I wish it was just a bit more drenched in the salsa. The salsa was bomb!! My friend ordered a torta de al pastor and that was also really good! The portions were filling. However I deducted a star because I felt like the service was a bit lackluster. Granted, we arrived an hour and a half before closing, but the place was practically packed! I'm not sure if it's because we didn't order any alcohol or real drinks, we only ordered water with our meals However, the server had a deadpan look on her face anytime she approached the table. Restaurant work is tough, I get it, and I don't expect a constant smile from ear to ear, but at least some emotion that signals that we are being understood and taken care of. I'd even say thank you but wouldn't hear anything in response. At one point we asked for more chips and salsa, and the server took the dishes away but didn't bring anything back. When my friend requested a refill on the water, our server never came to fill it up. Instead he asked another server for a refill... twice.. before he got that water. I only took 1 star because I'm trying to give the benefit of the doubt. We came late, it was loud, and there was a large party being hosted which I'm sure used up their attention as well. We came here to watch the football game since all the restaurants in the area were packed. Generous portions and delicious, almost homemade food at very affordable prices. Endless tortilla chips with two salsas to start. The molcajete mixto came with rice, beans, salad, and plenty of tortillas. Crispy chicken tacos were packed with chicken, and the carne asada nachos were my favorite. Great margaritas, beer buckets, the ladies there were so nice to us , excellent service that made us feel VIP, plus lots of TVs and great sound for the game. The location entrance faces the street but there is a private parking lot in the back. From the moment we walked in we could hear the music playing over the TV screens that were showing different games. The staff sat us down immediately and provided us with a menu. The menu had a variety of meat and seafood items. Other than the appetizers the majority of the menu items were $15+. The drink options are beer, canned/bottled drinks, and agua Fresca. The wait time for the food was a bit long which made us fill up on the chips and drinks. When the food arrived the portion sizes were huge. Both of our meals had a high amount of salt which made the meals hard to eat. I had to use the table salsa to help with the saltiness of the food but it just didn't help. The chips were good but the salsa was on the watery side so it didn't carry any spice. I would say the place gave better service than the quality of the food. read more

I ordered from Grubhub. They came up as a taco Tuesday deal. I ordered the $8.00 chicken Flautas, which is 4 rolled chicken tacos with lettuce, tomato, & crema. It didn't have guacamole, which I was surprised as most Flautas come with sour cream & guacamole. We also ordered the taco Tuesday $1.50 tacos. We got the 2 papas (potato) hard shell tacos as well as 2 carnitas & 1 al pastor. The papas tacos had lettuce, tomato, and crema. The other meat tacos had cilantro, onions, & nopal. Which was different for me. I've never had nopal on a taco & not a fan so I picked it off. The carnitas were juicy with flavor. The al pastor tacos had a lot of fat & wasn't what I expected. I did add the two green salsas they sent onto my tacos. It was mild. I'm not a fan of red salsa, so I didn't try the one they sent. Hopefully I'll get a chance to try them in person as my tacos were soggy from being in a container. Also they didn't send complimentary chips & salsa like most places do. Mariscos El Ranchito has great food and great drinks. Ana Eth was our waitress and did a wonderful job pointing us out to what's good. Apparently they are opened till 2pm daily with daily Karaoke 6- not sure. Loved their pinacolada, wife had a mango margarita. Fresh fruit, agua fresca looks amazing, we loved it. I had the green chilaquiles and my husband had the Monterrey chicken sandwich, the flavor and seasoning tasted authentic not too salty and nothing tasted off. My man lives in Anaheim and he decided to take me here because I assume he knows I am a fatty for food and he knew I'd really like or something! I had enchiladas de pollo, flan for desert, three Pacificós, and my man got three tacos de Al pastor with rice and beans. Everything was excellent. The food was on point, no flavor was off. The carne was cooked with love and passion. The service was fast, and the girl was young but very attentive. She'd see that my man was finishing his beer and would come suggesting another one. We had chilaquiles and huevos a mexicana and a sample platter that included a sope, taquitos dorados and a few other stuff. We decided to come back today, menu was different and food was not good. Placed a takeout order and specifically said hamburger ONLY meat and bun. When I got home I served my kid a cheeseburger with condiments... My kid couldn't eat it cuz he is a picky eater and had to drive all the way back to have them make it again.(keep in mind I called in advanced to make sure they could replace the messed up order) The way they questioned me and asked if I had ordered a hamburger or a cheeseburger? And had the audacity to tell me that since the fries were fine that they couldn't replace them when they were soggy and cold. At least humor me and place them in the fryer for a couple seconds. Then proceeded to ask if I wanted mayonnaise in my hamburger. At that point I was too frustrated and asked for a refund and take my business somewhere else because plain means plain MEAT and BUN ONLY. The employees have zero service knowledge(ironic). It did have consume on the side (It was a small soup bowl, only filled half way) meat was super dry so it was needed. 3 orders of Birria tacos (which I thought was 9 tacos total) and Green Chilaquiles came out to $70!!! I have never paid $70 for my kids and I to eat breakfast. Definetly would not order the same thing. Went here with my kids for dinner. My son had been here before and recommended it. I have to say, I was blown away by their birria tacos. So good!! My daughter has the mojarra, her bf got the quesadilla and my son got the nachos rancheros with asada. Everything was yummy. Plus the staff is so friendly and the place is lively. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it was really loud. They had all the TV's on loud with the soccer game on and the DJ speaking over it. It wasn't awful but just not my cup of tea.
