This just opened down the street from our house and we were curious so we tried it. It's about what you'd expect from a $10 lobster roll. The quality of the lobster meat itself wasn't bad but the roll, especially the bread was a little basic. Was not a fan of the lemonade, I'm not sure if it was the paper cup or the water, but there was a strange taste that definitely does not go with lemonade. It tasted almost plastic-y. I'm not sure if this is a typical occurrence or not. We also ordered the lobster fingers and they weren't bad. I think I would for sure order them over the roll. The french fries were pretty good, but also, basic. If you're picky about things like lobster rolls like I am, this probably isn't the place for you. If you want something filling, convenient and on the cheaper side, this place is a good option. If you're not local to the area, I wouldn't recommend a drive out. read more

I love this place. The rolls are solid! I wish is that they also sold rolls by themselves. I would not mind paying $9 for a roll on its own, without the fries and tea. I believe the warm roll is a new addition and is much better than the chilled roll. Had my son with me from out of town and he was impressed with the roll and the fried finger as well. Would also appreciate if they can drop any small tables or even a stand up counter. If its a cost issue, then increase the prices by a $1 and lets get a place to eat them as well. I drove from Queen Creek to try this place. I was the second person in line ready for opening. I placed my order for 2 lobster rolls (fries and drink included) waited no more than 30 seconds after the transaction and the meal was ready. The lobster roll itself was buttery stuffed with chilled lobster claw meat, crisp fries, and delicious lemonade. It came with a thousand islandish sauce that I didn't see until I had eaten both lobster rolls like a dog on T-boned seared to perfection. I used that sauce for the remaining fries that I had and it was ok. The food and service were both great! I will be a regular here for sure. Suggestions: This is subjective...but maybe a buttery sauce option like an old bay and butter. When the time comes.. a location closer to the east valley.. Mesa gilbert.....Queen Creek Hint hint. This place is bare bones and ordering from the QR code is a pain in the tuchus. The floor is sticky and the menu is limited. The food though, holy mother of Maine lobster! They run a very efficient operation from the Docks in Maine to their own processing facilities cutting out the middlemen all along the way. The food was good priced at $9.99 per meal before tax. The ambiance well is none...I can't even describe it as industrial....felt more like an uninviting waiting room with 6 2- party high Boys. The floor was sticky and gross feeling. I am not enjoying these serverless environments as there is no discussion on food items for newcomers like us and the many who came in was also bewildered by the "use your cell phone from a qr code to order and pay" then a while later a window opens and your name is called. Straight ahead were two kiosks to input your order. We tried the chilled lobster roll meal. Two sides: fried cod and lobster and a coke. Decently priced and tasty! The sauces were really fresh and tasty too. We sat at high tops while we waited (5 min tops). On the wall was the other highlight; Angie's story. She passed in 2020. Her story touched me. Drive thru so easy but no cash to move line quicker Apple Pay. Wished they would add location in California so close across border Palm Springs or inland empire easily charge double for combo or more to makeup added costs for doing business here and would have a line like in n out all day every day! I finally decided to try this place. From the second, I tried a little piece of the lobster when it was handed to me to the very last bite. I could just tell it was not as fresh as they claim. Now don't get me wrong. I understand we are in Arizona and it's not gonna be fresh as in Maine, but this lobster had the most fishiest smell and taste to it. The lobster wasn't in chunks. It's smushed together and shredded. I added the butter and the sauce which made a little bit better. My biggest complaint was there was at least five different times. I had to pick out shells from my mouth before I swallowed it and choked on them. That is so disgusting there should not be any lobster shells in my meal. Shame on you guys seriously you guys need to get it together. And now I'm sitting here about an hour after eating it feeling like I'm gonna upchuck tasting that disgusting fishy non-fresh taste. For $9.99 it's great. You get a lobster roll, fries and a drink. That's a deal for sure. The fries were delicious. I'm picky about my fries and I really liked theirs. My daughter got a fried lobster sandwich and I got the regular. I liked the Angie's sauce on the friend sandwich but I am stuck on hot butter on the regular sandwich. Grew up in New England, summered on Cape Cod & Bar Harbor ME back in the day... Suffice to say I know my lobsta rolls! Angie does not dissapoint! Had the chilled version (as that is what I was most familiar with). Expected too much mayo, to my pleasent surprise, Angie did it perfectly. I would suggest a wedge as a side (personal preference). Fries were good too. Not a fan of "Angie's Sauce" (again, personal preference). They are pushing out orders quickly, so check your order for accuracy (got shorted a DF lobster tail on my visit, not a complaint, I'm sure they will make it up on my next visit... Soon!) Over ten dollars for a roll! I clearly remember last year when they posted 8 something posted for the price of a roll. All that has been cleaned off and the drive-through menu has Layered stickers adjusting the prices. The quality has stayed the same, ill admit, and all the propaganda about all they do to keep prices down is still posted everywhere. But I think the price hike is too noticeable of a jump. Whether it be entitled workers, greedy managers and/or landlords, I, as the consumer, don't really care about the exact reason. But overalln value has gone. Amazing, especially for the price. No one was in the drive-thru. Rolled right up and placed the order. We were not even to the pickup window before we saw our order pop out for pick up. The bun was so soft and buttery and the lobster was overflowing. It had great flavor and the warm drawn butter was just the icing on the cake. The fries tasted fresh and they were hot and crunchy with the perfect amount of salt. The Angie sauce was a perfect pairing to dip the fries in. So these lobster rolls are the equal on ones from Luke's in New York or Maine Lobster Lady, but at less than half the price, and so fast too. Been coming here weekly for months cuz 8.50 per is too good. I always get the chilled one, it's def the better way to enjoy it.
