I wish I took a photo of my food but it was really good! We got 2 orders of the #1 which is the warm lobster roll with fries and a drink. For $9.99, I thought that was an amazing price! It looked like there were so many cars and I had a feeling I was going to be there for awhile in the drive thru, but in total from when I got there and left with my food, I only waited 8 minutes which is pretty good for the amount of cars that were there before me.
When you go there, don't get confused and go in the Someburros drive thru line. Their line gets long too but there are cones on the left side of Someburros (when you're facing Someburros) blocking a way to get to the drive thru to Angie's. This makes it difficult to get to the drive thru. If you come from Guadalupe and turn on to Signal Butte, make sure when you drive into the plaza, that you use the turn after Angie's and don't use the turn before Someburros because you might end up in the wrong drive thru, finding yourself waiting for the Someburros line to clear up so you can go all the way in the back to make your way to Angie's, or get back on Signal Butte to make the second right into the plaza after Angie's.
This was my first time going there and I didn't know that it was credit/debit only which was fine because I don't carry cash. I got worried that it said cash only and I would be stuck in the line haha
When I pulled up, it said there are 2 drive thru lanes and yes technically there are 2, but it turns into 1 lane. All the cars took turns going 1 by 1 which is nice so it was fair.
When you pull up, they have the menus in A Frames and on both sides of the walls when you are about to order. Right when you place your order over the speaker, you tap your card and you're good to go! They make it really easy.
They have many signs on what to expect. When you pull up to the second window, they will place your drinks and food on the shelf and you just grab it. They automatically put napkins at the bottom of the bag. In each of my bags, they only put 1 each so you will have to ask for additional if you want more.
There are 3 drinks to choose from as well: Iced Tea, Lemonade, & Angie's Energy. I do love how simple and easy the menu is. We got 2 lemonades and it was light and not overwhelming sweet which was nice. They do not give straws and it was clear in the signage to help keep costs low.
I do wonder if you do not want fries or if you just want the lobster roll, if they would serve it that way. It didn't look like that by the menu but that would be nice.
I saw many cars parked most likely eating their food right away. I wish we did that but waited till we got home so my food wasn't as warm but it was still so good!
I am happy that they are building more locations and one coming soon by my house! Even though this was a bit far, I would def try it again! Great quality lobster and so much in the roll! read more
