They have an extensive menu but I recommend the Warm Lobster Roll combo that comes with fries and butter. All you need to do is order with the cashier, find a seat and find spray and towels to clean the table and chairs, and pick up order when called. The orders are all packed up paper bags. The restaurant isn't large and had about 5 tables and seats; no fuss or muss. The prices is very reasonable and the quality is outstanding! Nothing was artificial or filler (eg. shrimp, crab) - all lobster. If you are from California, then you KNOW getting a lobster roll for under $15 is an absolute STEAL!! I came here for the first time (drive-thru) when my flight came in on a Saturday night. Came here after seeing rave reviews on Reddit and I'm glad I did! Angie's offers a no frills option for fresh seafood and protein bowls and their mission is awesome for making luxury foods accessible for everyone. No fishy aftertaste at all and big chunks of meat. The roll itself was on the smaller end but for $12 with drink and fries not gonna complain about that! The meat was so good I didn't even think it needed the added butter but the Angie sauce was perfect with it. (Like Canes sauce) It can be slow at times since they have two people manning the drive through, online and in person orders but the food is well worth it! If you want an Instagrammy place this ain't it with its automated kiosks, self service and slightly sticky floors. I personally don't care about all that. What once had great potential has gone downhill quickly. They love to brag that their menu is the same price as fast food. But wven as fast food prices have climbed dramatically, their signature item, the lobster roll, has gotten out of control at $16.99 for the meal. Yes lobster prices are dynamic, but your whole model is about being inexpensive and "fast food prices", so you can't have it both ways. But what's also challenging is the quality of the lobster served here has gone downhill dramatically. What once was tender and sweet meat is now tough and flavorless, and often waterlogged. I found the spot just driving by and it sounded like the perfect late night snack. It was really cool reading all the signs about their process as you sit and wait. Their menu is pretty simple overall, but it looks like they are expanding. This is a unique restaurant. They take significant measures to keep costs down. You order on your phone and are expected to clean up the tables after eating. Cleaning supplies are out. The restaurant was clean inside and I had no issues ordering. They also don't provide free refills and there is no bathroom. These are not complaints, just observations. Overall the process was seamless and refreshing. Far better than ordering from a barista type person who then expects a tip. Their efforts also seem to work. A bit confusing at first if you're not use to ordering here, but when I was there, customers had to scan a QR code to place online orders. The employees are hidden behind a little window that only opens when they call your name to grab your meal. There are limited seats in the restaurant so be prepared to eat outside if needed. I was very surprised at how cheap the food was for the price. Coming from the east coast, I've had my fair share of lobster rolls at far more expensive prices "market price" granted they had more lobster in their rolls. However, you can easily double your order and get just as much lobster as you would in one of those rolls and still be significantly cheaper. The rolls come with a side of fries. We tried a couple of Angie's energy drinks. The raspberry blueberry lemonade was fizzy. I wasn't expecting it to be carbonated. The berries and cream was also carbonated. Angie's Energy Drink is a sparkling beverage made with blueberry, raspberry, lemon and 275mg of caffeine. Their Berries & Cream is made with their Angie's Energy Drink and a splash of vanilla and half & half. Oat milk available upon request. Contains 248mg of caffeine. The fries were crispy. Some of them had potato skin on it. They were pretty thin. I like when french fries don't have any dark spots on them. Some of the french fries had dark spots on them. I threw those ones away. Usually I find that the dark spots taste not good. Otherwise they were pretty good and not too salty. The bread was curved and shaped like a little pocket. It was a little bit crispy, and had a very good buttery taste. I liked how crispy it was. The lobster itself tasted like lobster. There was even a little bit of the hard lobster cartilage inside. That's how you know that it is real lobster. Be careful. It tasted best with the butter. There's also a garlic mayo sauce in a packet that you can use, which is the Angie's sauce. I didn't like the garlic mayo sauce too much. Maybe I just don't like garlic mayo. I would skip the garlic mayo next time. I had the #1 Warm Lobster Roll with Butter. It was Lobster served warm with Butter in a Toasted and Buttered Bun, Angie's Sauce, Fries and a Drink. Overall pretty good and I liked trying it out! Best with the butter! You can order through drive through or their very small inside setup. Ordering through the drive through is probably the best way because inside you have to scan a QR code and pay for it online like there's no way for you to speak with someone and place an order. Anyways not much on the menu but lobster rolls. I ordered the warm lobster roll and the grilled lobster roll. The warm one came with a butter packet which I heavily poured. I am very impressed with the amount of lobster that came with the warm lobster roll - very plump and juicy too. With that being said, it is a smaller roll on like buttered Texas toast. You can eat the whole thing in probably 3 bites if you really taking chomps. But it's a lobster roll for $10 with fries and a drink. It's something different and I thought it tasted really good. When you make your way through the drive thru, pull up to the microphone, place your order and use the self- serve credit card machine to pay. Personally, I prefer to do this on an app, but as far as I can tell, they don't have one at this time. Then, proceed to the window to pickup your order. The window is a bit awkward, with a stainless steel shelf where the order is placed. It's a bit too far from vehicles and out of arm's reach. The packaging is also awkward. Sandwiches are not wrapped, just set in a paper "boat", then placed in a brown paper bag, too deep to pull the sandwich out without spilling. Breakfast sandwiches are served on the same New England style rolls used for lobster rolls. They include scrambled eggs and your choice of protein. The bacon was good. The sausage link was split lengthwise and seemed like the standard frozen variety. The thick cut Breakfast Potatoes were very tasty. They were well seasoned with what seemed like salt, pepper, paprika and a parsley garnish. They did, however, seem a tiny bit dry. I believe they were baked, not fried. The Cold Brew was ok, I just wish there were more of it, given it was mostly ice. If in the area, I'd try Angie's Lobster for breakfast again. Very basic inside, only about 6-7 tables that have 2 chairs at each. Clean though, cement floors, feels a bit like a waiting room. Order at the 1/2 door on the right. Pickup your food and drinks at the sliding window on the left when your number is called out. Heads up - no bathroom, so be sure you go before you arrive. And, bring wipes or hand sanitizer if you want to "wash" your hands. I like that they have paper towels and a spray bottle to clean your own table. No straws here. You'll get a drink top that has a drinking hole in it, kinda liked it. Saving some turtles :-) The food was really good. We all got lobster sandwich meals with fries and drinks. None of us got the steak or collosal shrimp, but all of us want to come back and try them, they look great. The lemonade here is great, just like at Salad and Go. The fries were warm and really good! They give you "secret sauce" that's a bit like Cane's sauce, except in a pouch, it's really good! Another pouch has warm melted butter or herb butter to put on your lobster sandwich or dump on your fries, that was a great idea my son recommended, it was awesome. I've had lobster rolls in Boston and in SF, and I never would've guessed that my favorite place to get this would be in... Arizona!? But there you go, awesome lobster rolls in the Southwest, who knew? I love this place! First, the price is unbeatable. For under $15, you can get a whole meal with fries and a drink. Second, while I didn't care for the fries at all, the drink is fantastic. I think they make their energy drink in-house, and it's delicious! Same with the lemonades, everything paired really well with the rolls. Third, and the most important part - the rolls! We tried five different ones over several visits: fried lobster, fried shrimp, chilled lobster, warm lobster, and fried cod. Yeah, we didn't eat anywhere else, and we're fine with that! If I can only pick one seafood roll to order forever, I'll probably stick to chilled lobster. Simple and straightforward. Out of the fried dishes, I feel like only the cod was worth re-ordering, it was perfectly battered on the outside, and juicy, tender, and flaky on the inside. As for the fried shrimp and lobster, I feel like they were worth trying once, but the fried-ness really overwhelmed the more delicate seafood meat. All I tasted was the batter, I couldn't taste the shrimp or lobster at all. In the end, the chilled lobster was my favorite - simple and you just need a dash of butter. Side note: I've hated the bread in every previous lobster rolls I've tried. I saw Mikey Chen on Strictly Dumplings do a review on Angie's, so I thought I'd give it a try. The place is definitely bare bones inside. Concrete floors and walls. A small window to order from and another to retrieve your order. I got the worm lobster roll meal at 13.99. Solo is 12.99. Meal comes with melted butter, fries, and a drink. The roll is pretty small but is pretty full of lobster chunks and claw meat that was fresh and pretty tasty. The fries have a good flavor, enough salt and fairy crispy. Overall, I'd say Angie's is a pretty good deal for the price. read more
