Small portions, "meh" food, and a confusing layout/concept. I ordered ahead for a four person work lunch to save time for an 11:40am pick up before the noon lunch rush. I received an "order ready" text as I was driving to the location. It was incredibly unclear where to park for pick-up orders. All signs directed people to the drive thru. So, I got in the drive through line around 11:40am and was in it until about 11:55am. I was given the one drink and a bag, with three orders. I counted the orders. I pointed out that there should be four and there were only three. The server took back the order, counted the orders, looked at the receipt, and went to hunt for the fourth order. Once that was settled I took it to the office for everyone. Four of us, $45. Portions of the protein bowls were small, people looked in the bag to see if there was more food. My salad was a decent sized small salad. The flavor was underwhelming. Everyone was disappointed and we won't be back. read more

So this place has been open a couple weeks now. I'm surprised I'm the first one to review it. One thing to know upfront is this is a to go only place. Also, if you walk up to the window, they will not take your order. You have to scan a QR code and place your order online. I did that and it took me a little while to navigate the process. Once my order was placed, it was ready in about 10 minutes. I ordered a lobster roll with lemon butter and a Cobb salad with grilled chicken. I was quite surprised at how good the lobster roll was. Quite a bit of lobster for the price. Very tasty. The salad was also really good and pretty large for the price. It's definitely a very good deal. As I ate my truck, I watched the drive-through line slowly progress, and it seemed quite a few people were having difficulties ordering from their phone while waiting in line. It seems to me that ordering and picking it up at the window is much faster. Now that I know the process, I'm definitely curious to try some of their other items. This was my first time to Angie's and it was a bit confusing at first. They looked like they were closed from the parking lot. I approached the pick up window and saw people inside putting together orders. Several of the workers saw me at the window and ignored me. Then I noticed the sign for the service bell. Once I rang the bell I was assisted fairly quickly. The food was fresh and very high quality. This is what we've been waiting for in the fast food industry. The owner has started with an uncomperising menu that has all good ingredients and a simple yet effective business. I personally tried the Greek barrito and it was great! The chicken was cooked in Greek spices and was very tender. And the rest of the Greek things were very generous with the portions. The salads are good and for once the accompanying salad dressing is really good! Simple recycled bowls and no trademark name on bags and cups. Too difficult to pay I had to get out of the car to use the machine. BTW my dog would not even eat the leftover lobster. They were not friendly at all when you picked up the food. Just stopped in for lunch loved the food but deducted a star for organizational process. My husband had the protein bowl with chicken and ranch sauce. He thought it was good but thought the cilantro lime sauce would be a better match. I had the harvest rice bowl with steak and shrimp. It comes with balsamic sauce. I asked to swap for cilantro lime sauce. I received both sauces and a charge for an extra sauce. My husband ordered the handcrafted pineapple lemonade and I ordered the blueberry lavender lemonade. When we drove up to the window we were handed our meals, no drinks. We waited for the woman to return and when she did we told her we didn't get our drinks. She returned with the pineapple lemonade and quickly said good bye and went to close the window. My husband said we were missing our blueberry lavender lemonade. She replied you only ordered one. We disagreed. She turned abruptly as she rolled her eyes, closed the window and returned with a plain lemonade. The system for placing orders is strange, lengthy and appears unorganized. You have the option to order online. If you choose to do this do it from home. Signal in the valley can be challenging. If you choose to walk up to the building to scan QR code to place your order, good luck. You are out in the bright sun with zero shade in sight making it impossible to see your screen. We watched many people doing the signal shuffle and bright light dodge trying to make this option of ordering work. There were others like us that gave up and got into the slow crawl of the drive thru line. If you make the online ordering obstacle course work in your favor you then pick up your food from a walk up window. There is not anywhere to sit. Picnic tables would be a nice addition. Although there are two drive thru lines only one is available. There is also a sign stating that if you need to talk to anyone after placing an order contact through their website. You pay by card only at the kiosk you order from and then drive to the pick up window to retrieve your food. The portions are large and the food very flavorful but they need to revisit their procedures, systems and monitor at least the one female employee's attitude. read more

During the order process they acted like I was when inconveniencing them. And then I waited for the car ahead of me. They handed out there food. I have literally been here 10 times since it opened. I always get a salad and the chicken is so good and the salads are great size. have some patience with the staff as they are still training and getting to know their own menu. I ordered the lobster roll and paid $5 extra for a larger portion. What I got was a blob of a lobster concoction on what looked like a hot dog bun. For $17 I was very disappointed. However, my wife loved her salad (although I can't recall just which one she got). To make it worse, after we picked up our order and made the 10-minute drive home, we discovered they'd given us someone else's order. $20 for a jumbo lobster roll that isn't nearly as good as the ones from Angie's down in Phoenix was highly disappointing. The lobster was chewy, and the bread of the sandwich was soggy and wet despite having just ordered the sandwich and receiving within minutes. There was wilted lettuce in it too that looked as if was cooked. The butter packet was solidifying and hard to put over the sandwich. This is absolutely the biggest ripoff I've ever seen. If I could give it zero stars I would. When I got the order and saw how little food I got, I requested my money back, and they refused. I will dispute this with my credit card company. I spoke with a friend and he told me he had a similar experience with their lobster roll. He told me it was full of lobster shell.
