Lobster, crab, shrimp boil! It was delicious!!!

We were shopping down the street and heard the music, we got curious because the band Blackwater or BWC were playing and the music was great they sounded so good together. So we decided to eat and we had the Crab, lobster, & shrimp boil it was great. Service was great and fast and friendly!! Stop in and check them out!! It was worth it!!

Food and service was amazing. Best food we've had while in orange beach! The hush puppies are amazing as well!

5-star food with friendly staff! Shrimp bowl medium heat. Grits are delicious. Shrimp & lobster boil was delicious. Only downside is that we froze. Strongly recommend pants and warm jacket. Felt great to get outside to warm up.

Woof, guys... let me tell you after devouring this, I was full. We arrived, and as we walked through the restaurant, my mouth was already watering the smell of flavor was in the air. Tish seated us and explained the seafood boil options in great detail. I saw her do this with every table outside, and she was fantastic. HUGE shoutout to her I also loved how she interacted with the live band from time to time. I ordered a pound of crab with a half pound of scallops, two red potatoes, and one corn on the cob, all with the trifecta sauce a combination of garlic, lemon pepper, Cajun, and their signature sauce (thank you, Tish). Spice level 3, considered hot, comes with habanero peppers in the mix it was awesome! My lady got the vegetarian tofu bowl with ramen. Angry Crab Shack, I challenge you to add your amazing seasoning to your ramen bowls or tofu. I tried it, and it was bland just because a dish is vegetarian doesn't mean it should be without flavor. With how good your food is, adding those flavors to the vegetarian options would attract an even bigger crowd. My only quam was that mosquitoes kept landing on me outside, but from what I hear, that's the state bird. Maybe burn some citronella candles out there. Thank you for the experience!

Fish & Chips, double fries instead

My husband is a picky eater so after looking at the menu online, I thought this would be a good compromise for both of us. We went for lunch on a Friday and it was almost deserted. Service was friendly and fast. They had decent music playing (classic rock/80s). I got the Jambalaya and he ordered the Fish and Chips, double fries instead of fries & slaw. The food was pretty good. My Jambalaya came with chicken, shrimp, and conecuh sausage, my favorite. The bread was sliced but not cut all the way through, so trying to finish cutting it while in the jambalaya was difficult since it kinda became rubbery. His fries were good - Cajun fries - and his fish was ok. It was Cod, heavily battered. It kinda reminded me of Long John Silver's. That's not an insult; we used to eat there frequently! I don't know. We ate everything, but when we left I said "It was fine, but I feel very underwhelmed." He said that was exactly what he was thinking. I'd go back for sure but maybe not with a lot of enthusiasm.

We had such a great time eating seafood Friday night that we tried ANGRY CRAB RESTAURANT across from the Hampton inn Saturday night, they offered live music. I has the shrimp boil special at $20, what a great deal It looks small when u approach but the rooms go to the left into the courtyard. I highly recommend the seafood

We tried this place for dinner recently and it was ok. Our group of 5 was quoted 30 min wait time around 6:30p on a Wednesday night. We got our table 50 min later. Once we sat at the table it was another 15 min before a waiter took our drink order. We tried the fried shrimp basket, catfish basket, and the shrimp/crab combo boil. The fish and shrimp were good. The Cajun fries had great flavor. The shrimp/crab boil was just ok. The shrimp were tough and the crab was tough to crack because it was so mushy. Almost as if it was over cooked. Which isn't great considering how long the wait was.

This was my first time at the Angry Crab Shack. We were seated promptly and our server Mady was excellent. She was knowledgeable about the menu, attentive, and helped with any questions. This was my first seafood boil experience. I opted for the Shrimp and Crab combo, selected the trifecta seasoning(garlic, lemon pepper, cajun) at spice level 2. This was delicious! Great flavor, just the right amount of heat, and portion size for one. The seafood cooked perfectly, sweet corn, and buttery soft potato. Overall, a wonderful experience and yummy meal!

I really want to be fair so this review might be long. Walked in and were seated immediately. The hostesses were absolutely lovely. They had live music and it was amazing. They also had calamari which was the only thing my daughter wanted for her birthday, and was surprisingly difficult to find on the gulf. Appetizers came out nice and quick. They serve Pepsi products, which I love, but they were out of actual Pepsi. We had seven people in our party: myself, my husband and our five kids. Our food came out in three waves, 10 minutes apart. Our last kid didn't have his food till most of us were half done. They gave my daughter a beautiful, free dessert. That was kind and generous. At the end, they did mandatory gratuity even though their website that applies to adults. Kinda sneaky. Honestly, had we all not eaten dinner at different times, we would've left a large tip anyway but the service was not great save for the hostesses. Our server seemed mildly annoyed the duration of the night though our order WAS accurate, etc. With so many options I simply don't think I will be back.

Kids menu popcorn shrimp was such a small portion that I had to ask if was the right amount. They said yes so I sent it back. $7 for 8 popcorn shrimp. Changed to the fried shrimp meal for $17 and it was the right choice. The naked shrimp boil was cold as were the sausage and corn when it came out. Very disappointing. The server pretty much ignored us after I asked about the popcorn shrimp. Not sure why she did as I knew it wasn't her fault. Over priced but that's almost everything on the beach.

We did not like the 30 dollars worth of sweet shrimp. It does come in very generous portion if you like that type of flavor. Hush puppies were pretty darn good, light, nicely seasoned with good flavor. The Cole slaw was excellent. All portions were generous. The place itself is gorgeous. The setting is fantastic. You walk in thinking, "Okay, this is going to be a great experience." Then somewhere between the host stand and the check, things begin to unravel. Today finally pushed me into Yelp-review territory. We stopped in around 1 p.m. on a slow Sunday. The hostesses were gathered around the stand chatting like somebody had just dropped screenshots from the group text. The person who eventually greeted us was wearing dark sunglasses inside, which was certainly a choice. Not exactly the polished first impression you expect from a restaurant charging these prices. Once seated, things didn't improve much. Our server struggled to explain the specials, answer basic menu questions, or really seem familiar with what the restaurant was serving. Again, if I'm paying Zeke's prices, I'm expecting something slightly more polished than, "I thinnnnk that comes with..." Then the food arrived. One sandwich was specifically ordered without onions because of a food allergy. It arrived covered in onions. Another meal was supposed to come with Brussels sprouts. It arrived with fries instead. Our server disappeared for about 15 minutes after the food was dropped, so by the time she came back, we were nearly finished eating and in need of refills. I mentioned the missing Brussels sprouts and was told they'd be "right out." The Brussels sprouts were not right out. In fact, the Brussels sprouts apparently entered the witness protection program because we never saw them again. Neither did our server. Eventually she returned with the checks, seemed surprised that the Brussels sprouts had never arrived, removed them from the bill, and otherwise appeared remarkably unconcerned that the meal had been wrong from beginning to end. And that's really my issue with Zeke's. Restaurants have off days. Kitchens make mistakes. Servers forget things. I get it. But when you're charging premium prices, service should be the easy part to get right... and after multiple visits, Zeke's consistently misses the mark. At this point, I'll spend my local dollars elsewhere. And if you're visiting from out of town, just know what you're getting into: the view may be beautiful, but there's a decent chance your wallet will leave considerably lighter while you're still wondering whatever happened to your Brussels sprouts.

We were able to snag a couch area on a platform. It was so comfy and we loved the views. A heads up- if you snag a couch like this, kids will get up on the platform and jump off of it.
