So this was the first time I've gone here! We've been unhappy with the bloomin onion at the Australian place, very dissatisfied,, the cactus bloom was great! Not greasy, light colored, crispy crust on very well cooked and seasoned onion. My dinner date and I split the prime rib and it came to the table with a beautiful med rare well seasoned thick cut! The horse radish and separate bowl of horse sauce was very good! I had the loaded potato and it was very good, tender and plenty. We also had the Texas fries, they were good as well. The warm rolls that were waiting for us with the honey butter were perfect. Service was awesome, Bailey made every request happen, was pleasant and made us feel like she appreciated us being there! The manager came by the table, introduced herself and again made us feel special. The place filled up at 3 pm when the doors opened, not a seat was empty on a Tuesday at 330. I had to get a mgr who immediately obtained a table for me after waiting 1.5, Lindsey, at the front booth took my info for my seat. It's apparent she by passed me numerous times. No consideration for a First Responder and a Vietnam Veteran. Joey was my waiter, attentive caring, professional and always checked on me, he made himself available throughout my visit. The five star is for the Mgr who got me seated and Joey my waiter. Lindsey would have received 1 stars for obviously ignoring my seating. As always, there's never a slow moment at Texas Roadhouse. However, the wait was minimal as we used the App to be added to the waitlist. I highly recommend the app for anyone who has not tried it yet. Our waitress, Teresa, was probably one of the most unfriendly servers we have ever had at Texas Roadhouse. She was very attentive to our drinks, which was nice, but her personality really missed the mark. My hangup occurred during the ordering process... She stood at our table asking if we were ready to order, as servers normally do. Everyone was ready to order, aside from me. I said it was fine if everyone started ordering, just take my order last. Teresa appeared to be inconvenienced by my request. She went on to tell us that she will have to make all these adjustments on her device in order to take someone else's order first, because the default setting would be to start with me. I'm sorry, I don't realize it was a problem ?????? The food came out very quickly, despite the fact that it was PACKED in there. That's always a plus! Quick shout out to my fellow Yelping friend @Beth B for sharing her week long Birthday tour of restaurant stops to utilize her Restaurant "Birthday Perks". I recently stopped by Texas Roadhouse and ordered a 12-ounce ribeye, cooked medium, with a Caesar salad and baked potato. The first steak was cooked perfectly and had great meat quality, but it was too salty. When they replaced it, the salt was perfect, but the meat quality was lower and it wasn't cooked properly. I'd suggest ensuring both seasoning and quality are consistent, so each guest gets the same high standard every time. read more

We have eaten at Texas Roadhouse at least once a month for years. As time has went on the service, quality and inconsistency of the food, and being rushed through our meal has gotten much worse. The last straw was a couple of weeks ago. I was chewing my food and felt what I thought was gristle until it poked my gums and cracked my tooth. I pulled it out, and it was an industrial size staple. My mouth was bleeding. The manager came over apologized and comped our meal. She told me I would receive a call from risk management. When they called me ten days later they tried to make me feel like it was my fault. They do not care about their customers, and they do not take responsibility for what happens in their restaurant. read more

However when you have someone that is pregnant in the party and don't offer anywhere for them to sit, that's wild. Everyone but one person was physically at the location. After our last member showed up the table was still not even ready. Even though they knew we were all there and had to still wait. The attitude from everyone at the front was insane. When we asked for somewhere for our pregnant party member to sit and they gave us extreme attitude telling us our table would be ready soon. This location having 3.4 stars makes sense. If you ever wonder why things are so expensive it's probably due to the overpaid people who just stand around. We waited 30 minutes for our table on a Sunday evening and these same 8 employees never moved from the counter. Just talked and laughed with each other. What a waste of money. Sad to find out that they cook the majority of their food in soy oil, we asked for a different option as butter,or even normal oil but they say NO they don't use it they don't have it, even though the salad dressings are made with soy. So we are force to look for different restaurants to go on weekends. read more

Took my son here for his birthday. He really enjoyed it. They brought out the sawhorse for him to sit on and saying happy birthday to him. I feel that the service is always consistent as well as the food. We have never had a bad experience at this Texas Roadhouse. You can tell employee morale is great! Especially since this location is super busy. Which is why I recommend doing the call ahead option on the app. This time we had the ribeye steak and the prime rib. I love the prime rib end cut! Even though I like my steak medium rare if there's an end cut, I will opt for it every time. It's nicely coated in seasoning and has a ton of flavor! My son and my husband both got the prime rib which were cooked to their liking. If you're looking for a great side, the loaded baked potato is my favorite. We usually get the salad with their homemade Italian vinaigrette. It's hands-down, the best! I will say it is a very loud environment. My dad loves eating at Texas Roadhouse but he has hearing aids do with all it the noise is difficult for him to hear others at the table. But overall, we always have a great experience. read more

This was my second time visiting. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because of how friendly the staff are. I'm not exactly sure why this place is always jam packed with people. The last time I went here, I ordered a 16 ounce sirloin. I asked for medium, but it was well done. Of course, they corrected it. I wasn't blown away, though. I received a gift card from Christmas, so I tried again last night. Packed, even in a Monday! I ordered a 12 ounce NY strip this time. It was the correct doneness, but the steak was very tough. I decided to go with an 11 ounce sirloin to replace it. It came out tender, but something was weird about the texture. Probably some type of marinade changed the texture. With tip, my bill was $50. Well, I had an awesome experience this evening Cristal was my food server, she did an awesome job of keeping bread on the table drinks full and always check in on us. We had a delicious meal. I had the Dallas 8 ounce which again came out perfect my great niece had chicken fried chicken at her boyfriend had the New York steak everyone's food was hot and correct. The side dish of Mac and cheese was quite bland and I wouldn't recommend.. but other sides I'd recommend would be the chili, mash potatoes or the Caesar salad. Offer online reservations if you want to plan ahead to reserve a table.. Great country music inside and multiple TVs in the bar area to deliver all the live sport games you want to keep an eye on as well. I called ahead to make a reservation because we had a party of 12 for our grandpa's 84th birthday was told they don't accept reservations and would need to just come in. Well we showed up at 3 trying to beat the dinner rush for our large party and the manager was absolutely rude and said ya show up at 630 and we'll try to seat you but ya I'm not going to guarantee we'll seat you. She said we should have called ahead which I did and was denied any sort of call ahead list that she mentioned. Will never be back to this place. They need new management what a joke. read more

I've ordered carryout numerous times. The staff has been friendly, orders were correct and prepared on time, and food was good. Last night, was a totally different experience. I ordered country fried chicken. I ended up taking it home and was unpleasantly surprised to see it was steak. I don't mind steak, but this was tough and over half was too difficult to eat. In addition, I'd asked for an order of rolls to carry out. It wasn't on my check, nor did I receive it. And, because I've ordered this meal many times and often split it in half because of the large size, I asked for my salad in a box. The same male waiter didn't make sure this was done; my salad was brought on a plate with everyone else's. Many of my co-workers who visit from out of the country regularly eat here when in town and love this location. I've never had issues like this at any other location or time I've eaten here. The wait times can be so long that we've always turned away, so we decided to come right around open (around 3:30 pm) and only had to wait 10 minutes for a table. We were greeted with hot, fresh rolls! Yum! We loved the cinnamon butter. Our server Emilee was very nice and we were served right away, the wait was not long for anything and our drinks were always filled! My daughter ordered a large to go prefer while dining in to bring home for our family and we were missing several sides. It seemed the server forgot to give a bag. That's ok happens! She paid on the kiosk at the table and dint get a receipt. I called to let them know and the manager Jeffrey Parker could have cared less. He said without receipt he can't do anything. I asked if I gave him the order or details of server or picture of credit card or amount of transaction or anything if he could look it up. He said he doesn't have access to the computer to look anything up so he couldn't. I have a hard time believing a general manager doesn't have access to their computer or receipts. It seemed because it was late he just didn't want to help. Basically called me a liar for not having a receipt besides the fact I was willing to prove otherwise. If he would have just apologized and been cool about it I could have cared less about any compensation or even getting the missing items. Jeff sometimes just apologizing when an error happens by the restaurant you manage is enough! Jeff's overall tone and lack of concern is why I leave my review. This is a crazy place. So many people coming in and out that it feels like an amusement park. Our waitress tried to take care of us but her parts of the process were covered by others. Pace of restaurant was very fast so things were messed up. Our food came to us cold and seemed to have been forgotten and spent too long on heating area before delivery to us. Fantastic Experience. Seated in a much better table that can be called in the dining room and away from the bar. I know that you sit where they put you, but sometimes the staff doesn't have a clue as to where you might want to sit when seating available to suit you. They do ask now if you are celebrating anything before they sit you and that really dos help. Ok, that's important to me, now important stuff for them. My waiter was great; I wish that I could remember his name. He brought us our drinks, and we were ready with our food orders and yes, the rolls. We both had the Ribeye dinners, and I have to say that it was amazing. We both ordered the corn and I had mashed potatoes that were just piping hot, and my wife had the baked potato which was also fabulous. The only thing that gets me is if you are going to upsell for the sour cream or whatever toppings, lay it out there that it doesn't come with it. Texas Roadhouse is not allergen friendly. The staff is well versed on the ingredients. However that's pretty easy because almost everything there contains gluten. Just walking in we were not greeted very nice nor were we treated very well as a party of 9. We wanted to decorate the table right away so that our friend could be surprised at one of her favorite restaurants, but the manager was so rude! They would not let us be seated till all of us were there. She did make an exception and said one could be missing and we would be seated when we finally got to our table. The table behind us had two people that came late and they were seated before us with missing people the manager when I talk to her said that it was because they lied. My friend was raving about this place so I said let's go, when we arrived the place was packed!! But we're seated in about 10 minutes. As you walk in there is a refrigerator where you can see the beautiful hand cut steaks, and the cooks taking care of business. They have a full bar, booth seating, and tv's, the atmosphere is just amazing. Our waitress was just fantastic and spent a lot of time with us joking around, the owner is also hands on and even introduced himself to us and asked how everything was, now that's I great business! I ordered a 9 ounce filet mignon med rare that comes with 2 sides "I got 2 sides of their banging chilly, that's right I said 2" I also ordered some of their mushrooms. My steak was perfectly cooked "see pictures" and it melted in my mouth "yes my eyes were rolling back into my head" My only complaint is that I wish Texas Roadhouse is in the bay area where I live cuz I'd be there weekly.
