I don't mean just in her work, but an all around a phenomenal person, which is so hard (about nonexistent) to find now days. I was very skeptical to go to a new general dentist, since I had such bad luck in the past. After having my braces on for 5+ years, the last thing I wanted was to go to another place, with new scary Dr's. However, my fav dr in the world (Dr Lee at starbright!) suggested Dr Kim, and am I so glad I took a chance and went, it was the best decision ever. Service: 10/10 Dr. Kim will ask you about life, tell you about your teeth, and find out how to really help you while being RELAXED. I have the most sensitive teeth, and I am even a bit paranoid! LOL. My heart starts racing, I start thinking about pain, and ahhh I just have always hated the dentist!!!! She picked up on it, and I can't tell you how much it means to someone like myself. To actually CARE about their patients. My cleanings are smooth, my gums are in great hands, and I know if I have any cavities from these braces, she will fix me up and I'll be perfect! I sometimes cannot believe I now actually LIKE going to the dentist! Haha. I also LOVE how easy the appointments are to make, she's very flexible and the entire staff is sooo friendly! All around: 11/10 I have been coming here for 2 years now, and Dr. Kim has a patient in me, for life. She's genuine, caring, and anytime I see her, and her staff, it feels like I'm seeing an old friend. As I said before, finding a Dr who doesn't see you as a dollar sign, is as good as it will ever get in my book. I visited I Love Dental about two years ago, and unfortunately, I've had ongoing issues with the work Dr. Kim did. One of my crowns recently fell off, and another dentist who reattached it said it likely wasn't a good fit--so I may need to have it replaced entirely. This was the same crown I had to return for multiple times because it didn't feel right and caused sensitivity, which I still experience today. Additionally, I found Dr. Kim to be condescending during my visits. Patients are often already anxious about dental work, and her critical comments and lectures made the experience more stressful. I've been a patient with Dr. Kim since March 2023 and every visit has been exceptional. Since then I've had a deep cleaning, several fillings, root canal, and a crown. Dr. Kim's expertise and attention to detail has made me feel at ease through each procedure, and she is comprehensive when it comes to my comfort and understanding of preventative dental hygiene. Moreover, the staff is always warm and friendly, even though I'm awkward and sometimes ask a lot of questions. I'm also impressed by how smoothly everything has gone with my insurance and authorizations, as I've run into trouble with that before. I truly appreciate the amount of work Dr. Kim and the staff have put into making the experience so effortless for me. Being able to fill out all the forms on my own phone instead of paperwork or on a tablet was very refreshing, too. And they're very up to date on dental technology and techniques, as far as I know, and compared to previous experiences. I have to give it up for this Dentist. So I have to admit I suckkkkkkkk at going to the dentist and finally decided to go. I obviously had some issues because of the time I've gone without a good cleaning. I was told I needs a root canal and I was nervous about it. They worked with my schedule so much and I LOVE that about them. Unfortunately my job is not as flexible as I would like lol. So I finally come in to get my root canal and they start the work. The dentist noticed it is not as serious as she thought and only had to do a deep filling. What a relief lol. I know other dentists would of gone through with the procedure just for the money. I love the fact that she explains every procedure and shows you the trouble areas. Makes you feel comfortable and welcomed. The staff is also very friendly and communication is at is best as well. I don't usually go see dentist but when I do I go to iLove Dental sorry about cheesy meme line but seriously gotta love this practice for cleanliness and friendly service from staffs. Throughout my session the doctor and assistants were constantly concerned for my well being and took great care of me. I went to dental school with Dr Kim and know just how good she is. I trust her completely and let her work on my teeth and my two kids' teeth. Currently I am not practicing for personal reasons and although her dental office is very far from my place, I still insist on going to her for all our family's dental needs. I had cavities and it was very uncomfortable. Dr Kim took xrays and knew right away where the cavity was. Cavity was treated and now I don't feel pain anymore. Dr Kim treats you with care and makes sure that you don't feel any pain during the procedure :) read more
