Live crabs and cooked crab here in Petaluma
    Mina G.

This place has just about anything you need. I got quite a few pictures and very well organized a fantastic variety of seafood, and you can buy smaller amounts as well as larger ones. If you need some seafood, here is your spot. We bought scallops and crab cakes these were terrific, and the best thing is that the Dungeness crabs are live. Service was excellent; we asked a few questions about the seafood, and they were very helpful. My hubby is Cajun, and let me tell you, he loves his seafood, and I do too. Go on over and check it out. I bet you'll be leaving with a nice big bag. It's tough to get live crabs around here, and I only have to drive 7 minutes now. Perfect location. Cheers, my friends SYOY 11/19/26

    A 3 hour wait on December 24

What happened on December 24?? It's was a train wreck , with a 3 hour wait for pre orders. The crowd finally was left to rummage through boxes to find their order. At our Christmas Eve event, the box was opened only to discover it was wrong. Time to move on.

Great fresh seafood! Love to buy when they have a good sale!! Fresh live crab or cooked if prefer. Endless amounts to choose from. From fresh fish to smoked salmon. They have it all. Thank you!

    Awesome poke selection

This place is amazing! My friend told me about it so I had to stop by. They have a great selection of grab and go sushi, poke, smoked salmon and other snacks. All the fish looked so fresh. They provided little ice bags to keep my poke cold for my drive home. Great place!

Anna's is a great place to buy seafood. There is a wide selection of live, cooked and packaged seafood. We usually get live Dungeness crab. The price varies all the time. The lowest price I've paid is $6.99/lb and most recently it was $10.95/lb. One time when I purchased some Dungeness crab they caught them the same morning outside the Golden Gate. There is also live lobster, Alaskan King Crab, and an assortment of fish over ice. In the fridge section they have salmon cakes, crab cakes, poke, seaweed, clam chowder and tuna salad just to name a few. Service is friendly and there is plenty of parking. If you love seafood like me be sure to check them out.

Ambiance - I was flying solo so I was sitting at the oyster bar. The folks from Carmel started up…read morea conversation and we had a really good time before they left to have dinner at a friends house. Service - the gal behind oysters bar was very skilled, very informative, and kept the food comin'. She created I wish I could call her out by name but it wasn't on the receipt that was texted to me. Food - on a scale of 1 to 10 it was an 11! * Lemonade was had good lemon taste and just the right acid/sugar balance. I learned that a batch is made each day, and occasionally two. The best I've had anywhere in Sonoma County or Marin County! * I order the first three items on the oyster list (this time two of each) and came up with a new favorite. Then I added four more to the favorite. At 81 I don't do well on short term memory! I love that what was done so right was the lemon and the mignonette (sp?) sauce that was exactly balanced. The last restaurant in Ptown and two absolutely terrible with a red and a white. * Next I ordered a Shrimp Cocktail. They screamed fresh, perfectly boiled that let the shrimp flavor out, and again the red sauce was perfectly balanced between flavor and heat. Had to made in house. And they just nicely crisply cool, not in a cold place that overwhelms the flavor. I don't think I've every had one this good! * Next was a pair of fried oysters. I was prepared for some oily, bready things that would ruin all of the above. BUT NO, the perfect balance was incredible!! * Last was the clam chowder. I'm soooo fussy about this after growing up in the NorthEast (Connecticut) and 4 years of college in Maine blew this one away. It lacked the perfection and freshness of my East Coast standard. But I finished with the last of lemonade and all was well. My standard has never been "perfect." I don't meet that standard, so the chef shouldn't have to either. Hey, maybe he's never been in Maine! P.S. there's not section for this, because the above doesn't happen without OWNERS that create processes and hire people that and buy the best incredients. Kudos, gals!!

Service and atmosphere are satisfactory…read more Food menu could use some work. I'm not an oyster fan and it seems like that is their main focus. The main entree seafood dishes are uninspiring. They usually only have one or two fish options, and the preparations are usually bland. Wish they had more types of main entrees with good fish and steak options. The only item I actually like on the menu is the ahi poke. Not a lot of options when only one menu item stands out. The wine list is very weak. Only 3 options by the glass for red and whites. The last time we went they were out of both my top choice and second choice. I finally gave up and didn't get a wine since the only remaining by the glass choices were unimpressive. Overall, pretty solid but uninspiring food and wine. I guess it is primarily an oyster house, with all other seafood being second thoughts.

I'm a big fan of spice, so I had the Mojarra Frita a la Diabla, and my husband went the safe route and ordered the shrimp tacos. The mojarra was fresh, spicy, and delicious! The sauce was a perfect blend of tang and spice. Very nice touch (cure) for the hangover lol The shrimp taco was also a winner. They do not skimp on shrimp. Ofcourse due to the shenanigans of the previous night, we over ordered and also tried the empanadas and the camarones a la cucaracha and oh boy, they did not disappoint! The roach shrimp lol were crispy and decadent. The green salsa the empanadas go with is heavenly spicy. Downside, there was a bit of a wait, but I can't really complain, it's always a good sign when folks are waiting in line at a joint. The attendant recommended I call ahead for next time. I think I may plan a road trip just to come eat here again! Safe travels and happy Eating fellow yelpers! Cheers!

Their produce at two price points of conventional and organic, their meat section offering all local and fresh options, their bakery is delicious and so beautiful, their deli with to-go food and sandwiches, and the soups are amazing, their taco and sushi bar, along with their hot food and salad bar all cannot be beat. They also have a bulk section for nuts, spices, honey, water, candy, coffee, etc. and offer everything else a grocery store would. The prices are a bit higher than other grocery stores, but you're paying for quality. Everything is fresh, the store is always so clean, and people are for the most part always friendly. They hire people with special needs, which in my opinion, is my favorite part of visiting there. Their butchers are always so friendly and helpful. Their only downfall is SOME of their cashiers. They often are lost in their own conversations, and do not greet or engage their customers. They can come across as rude or unfriendly for this reason. But over all, Olivers is my go to spot for all local meats, delicious and beautiful cakes, and to-go food. Highly recommend.

I had already been thinking about buying a sandwich, and when I noticed several employees actively cleaning a deli that already looked pretty clean to me, I was convinced. I ordered the build-your-own sandwich, which starts at $4.99. I love deli sandwiches, and have ordered so many from so many different locations across California over the past decade, I'm pretty sure I could write a book at this point.. Sprouts is usually a great place to get a sandwich for lunch. Most of my experiences at other Sprouts locations have been great. I filled out the sandwich form (which was returned to me with my sandwich, as evidence lol) with the following: sourdough bread, ham, bacon, swiss, avocado, dressing, all the veggies except lettuce. If the bread was sourdough, it was the whitest sourdough bread I've ever had in my life. It resembled white bread in every way, shape, and form. I received exactly one strip of hardly detectable bacon. All of the veggies were in such small quantities that I thought a bunch of ingredients were missing at first. The sandwich was honestly mostly marinated peppers. I didn't receive any avocado, but felt like, overall, the sandwich was okay enough for $7.99. But I would not order from this same sandwich maker again (although he was nice enough), because he wasn't very good at it.
