hands down the best place for breakfast in temecula. i went here yesterday morning and i digged the vibe from this restaurant. great customer service, friendly staff, and food quality was 10/10. it was my first time there too, but i didn't mention it just to avoid the hat and dance tradition for first timers lol. my food was delicious and the prices are really reasonable. Not mention they have the "winston churchill" which is a traditional english breakfast so anyone from the UK or missing breakfast from there this place has it. i will be ordering that next time i stop by. this restaurant does get busy so get here asap to get seated and enjoy some good food along with a dance or two from the staff read more

We were just here this morning for the first time. We had amazing service and food. It seemed like everyone working here genuinely love one another and work with each other. I never see this type of team work in a restaurant. My coffee was never empty,food was wonderful and service was amazing. I was helped or greeted by every employee I think. Lol someone filling coffee or serving us or just stopping by table to say hi to our daughter :) This place is extremely clean!! They even clean the high chairs thoroughly!! We've been enthusiastic patrons of Annie's Cafe for more than 10 years, since we discovered the first location in Lake Elsinore. The atmosphere is always upbeat, sometimes sliding into silly. The food is always great; their breakfasts can't be beat. Wonderful pancakes, French toast and lots of other breakfast combos that you will love. Lunch sandwiches are delicious and generous. We've never had a bad meal at Annie's. The serving staff is friendly and efficient; most have been there for years. One big bonus is the DANCING! We went to Annie's on a whim based on all of the positive reviews. Boy am I glad we did! The staff was very friendly and they even danced "Thriller" and "Time Warp" for us!! Lots of menu items to choose from. The food was fresh, the OJ was fresh squeezed and they gave us generous portions. The eggs were cooked to perfection. Loved the decor! We will definitely come back. Annie's is a great place for breakfast. They are also open for lunch but we've haven't tried it yet. I've been here three times and have always been satisfied with their prompt service. It is a seat yourself, mom and pop establishment with British roots. Every time I've been here, after sitting down, someone immediately takes our drink order. Each time they have kept the our coffee cups nice and warm! The coffee is actually good. I usually have two cups. This is the perfect place to go to wake up and have a nice inexpensive breakfast. There is no music playing in the restaurant so the only sound is people's chatter. However, at random, one may get startled by a song and dance from the staff. Every so often, music turns on and the waitresses/waiters stop what they're doing and do a little dance. Once it's done, the music stops and is back to just the chatter. So come to Annie's for some pancakes and random acts of dancing :) read more

I came here with my friend to have Sunday brunch. I've been to the one in Lake Elsinore and thought that the breakfast there was good and service was good as well. However, I don't have the same experience at the Temecula one. Service was bad, it took our waitress 20 minutes to take our order, then our food was cold. She didn't even bring us the syrup for our pancakes. I had to take the syrup from another table. Our water glasses were never refilled. As far as our food, my chicken fried steak was tasteless and the gravy was even worse. It tasted like uncooked flour with pepper with the consistency like glue. I could tell that they did not know how to make gravy at all. The waitress came by to drop off the check at the table without even asking if we were doing ok or not. We left with a big disappointment. If you want good food and good service go a little further to Front Street and eat at Penfolds. Their food and service are much better than Annie's. read more

LOVE this place!! Food is great; service is amazing! We stopped by for our first time this week (yes, we got to wear the silly hats and got the dance) and was served by 'Lynette'. She was amazing! Definitely made our entire visit memorable!! We got there fairly late (maybe 1o'clock) and the place was quiet; only us and a couple of other tables. We liked it so much we ended up going back a couple of days later. This time we went around 11am and the place was packed. Food service was so quick though and the staff were still overly-helpful! Being a Britt too I LOVE that they have Heinz Baked Beans and 'Banger' sausages!! So good! Our new favorite spot for sure!! read more

Well, although the food was good here, I was not too happy with the service. While eating here for breakfast, my stylus fell out of my phone. I didn't notice it until I got home but when I went back up to the restaurant and spoke with one of the workers there they had commented on the fact that some of the other workers found the stylus and was apparently playing with it on various things. Then supposedly they put it up. They then took my name and number and said they would give me a call when they find it because they could not locate where they put it at. After about 3 more weeks my husband and I went up to see if they had the stylist and all they can tell me where is they don't know where they put it at and unfortunately they couldn't find it. The manager stood there next to the server as he explained this to me and she did nothing and he did nothing but say "sorry we can't find it" although their workers were seen with the stylus, knowing it belongs to a customer. NOT HAPPY!!!!! Now i have to pay to get another one because their staff wanted to PLAY with my stylus!!!! REALLY????? read more

I don't live nearby so I took a chance stopping here to eat breakfast with my family on the way to San Diego. I was so glad we stopped! The food was great and so reasonably priced! I got so much food for so little. The staff was so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Plus bonus the staff danced a few times while we were there. Very entertaining! Had an English feel, due to some names on the walls, and fully armored statues. Food was good, and the freshly squeezed orange juice was a definite hit. Lexi took care of our table, and besides being the ultimate professional at the job, turned out she could cut the rug too, so it was good all around. Plates ordered were: Petite Omelette, $7.99 + 0.79 (for additional English Muffin in this case). With ham and tomatoes, it was perfect for the lovely senior honoring us with her company. Needless to say she devoured it very efficiently, and still had room for some of our food. Came with hash brown potatoes made really good. 4 Stars. Wilder, $9.99, consisting of ham, bacon and sausage, with two eggs any way prepared, hash browns, and two fluffy pancakes with several syrups to enjoy. 4.5 Stars. 10 Oz Pork Chop, $12.99. Turned out to be three tasty boneless pork chops (is that even possible, with chop in the title?), very tasty, with hash browns, and a delicious, certainly a cut above the rest, rye bread with butter on the side. 4.5 Stars. 3 Coffees, $7.47. On the money, strong enough, and freshly brewed, well worth the zipping. 4.5 Stars. 1 Large Orange Juice, $3.99. Freshly squeezed, perfect temperature, need I say more? 5 Stars. Total came to $46.68 before gratuity, which Lexi definitely earned a little above the norm. This place is a disaster, because they are disorganized and the service is HORRIBLE! 1. Went there today 7/18/15 at 1pm. When entering there is a crowd of people trying to pay their bill, and many people trying to sign in to be seated. So you stand around, not knowing what to do. After several people pay their bill, finally after waiting 10 minutes you can see a girl standing behind the cash register with a clip board now you can give your name and wait another 15 minutes. 2. After being seated, we got our drinks and the waitress says she is going home and someone will be replacing her. We waited another 10 minutes and "DAN" with the British accent takes our order, and I asked him for a drink refill. He leaves, and I notice a couple with a baby is seated to the booth next to ours. I noticed they gave their order after us and received drinks and food 15 minutes before we did. Meanwhile, I NEVER got my second drink and it has been 15 minutes. No DAN anywhere. Still no food, no extra drink. The another wait staff (this is number 3) states she will be our new wait staff. Still no food and no drink. The other couple has gotten their food and they are half way done. Then "DAN" shows up and says to me "I had your drink but I misplaced it somewhere" ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! The fact is he FORGOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He forgot, and did not admit it because he is trying to wait on to many tables and he can't keep things straight, so the customer suffers! NOT ENOUGH WAIT STAFF ON A SAT!!!! 3. The food finally arrives after 35 minutes. There is no ketchup in the ketchup bottle, the syrup bottles are empty, the green beans are dry and rubbery right out of a can. We had to ask for condiments, if you order fish and chips you want tarter sauce, had to ask for steak sauce for our steak had to ask for butter...which is margarine and had NO TASTE for the dry up green beans. Butter would be nice..please. Then we had number 4 wait staff come to the table to take over and give us our bill. When you pay the bill you have to go to the cashier and wait again. In America, the wait staff takes your bill to the cashier.......it is part of getting "good" service. If you were to do this you would not have so many people BUNCHED UP in the front. You can't even walk in the front due to wheelchairs, scooters, little kids running around and people standing and waiting!!!! What a mess!!!! 4. I have NEVER been to such an disorganized and uncaring wait staff eatery in my life. This place is a joke. Who wants to come back when you are treated with such DISRESPECT! 5. I spoke with ANNIE the owner, she is nice, about the situation and she told me over and over her staff works as a "TEAM" and everyone covers for each other.... but this is what causes the DISORGANIZATION! I tried to explain that no one is accountable for their own tables and that is why mistakes keep happening. You can't have 4 wait staff for one table because no one is accountable and no one is communicating and with each other and again the customer suffers! It appears to me the staff do what ever they want. 6. Sorry Annie, I will not be back and I will tell everyone at the local hospital I work at about the experience I had. Hopefully you will take my suggestions to heart and fix the problems you have. Please teach the wait staff about customer service and to be more accountable and act friendly towards your customers otherwise...why should we come back! read more

Had breakfast for the first time at annies cafe....just a fair warning....dont tell them its your first time there...trust me! Anyways....on to the food. I had a hard time understanding the connection with the british themed restaurant serving american food.....the omelette i had was basically scrambled eggs with meat and some half melted cheddar cheese on top. Thr hash browns were burnt and nothing had any flavor to it....ever heard of using salt! Then out of nowhere the music starts to play......and i mean it was blasting and i turn to my right and see two servers dancing to the music as if to put on a show.....ive never felt so embarrassed for two waitresses in my life....there faces were bright red....they obviously did not want to be doing this! I just dont know what else to say.....good luck....we will never be coming back. read more

we got the porkshops and eggs with has browns. cooked just right. every 30 or so minutes the staff would perform a dance for everyone which was nice. it wasn't over the top it was really cute. got really found of the one with the glasses lol. if its your first time there they will put hats on you during the meal - fun times read more

What a great place. The food, service and atmosphere were uncommonly good in this day and age of fast food and corporate chains. The English family (Mum, Dad, and son) who own and run the place are a delight. Their menu is and old-school coffee shop or diner menu with all sorts of yummy stuff. We sampled the fish and chips (best you"ll find on this side of the pond) and a patty melt. Both were outstanding. To top ioff this delightful meal we tried their "fruit of the forest" pie. OMG!!! Don't tell anybody because I don't want them to run out, but this blackberry, raspberry, apple, and rhubarb creation, with a pie crust to die for, was amazing. A perfect balance of sweet and tart where the mixed fruit filling was baked to perfection. Not overdone. Just enough for the fruits to retain their fresh texture. We're going back for more tomorrow. Do try this place out. Just save me some pie. read more

Went to this restaurant a few weeks back for brunch. Had an awesome experience. The staff were very attentive, the food was really delicious & a few fun things happened for myself & the other two first timers l went with. Pricing was great, portion sizes were easily enough to have leftovers & a great time was had by all. A different experience from the run of the mill restaurants in the Murrieta/Temecula area, & l have no doubt l will return soon! read more

We received our food in stages. My eggs and sausage came out almost 10 minutes before my waffle which was undercooked, and my husband's eggs and bacon came out 10 minutes before his French toast. Bacon was undercooked. We had to ask for coffee refills. Not impressed by the service and the price was a bit high. Nice interior and friendly waitresses but there were only two and the place was packed. No one greeted us as we entered, there was a sign saying to seat ourselves. We took a booth and waited for someone to notice. I caught the eye of a young man and he brought over the menus. We made our choices, put the menus on the edge of the table so someone would notice we were ready to order and waited. Finally a waitress behind the counter noticed and told the young man to go help us. He took the order and there was another wait for the food. A waitress brought the food and it was barely warm. It must have sat out a long time. My husband ordered an egg, bacon, and pancakes. I've never seen such a small egg, it was almost laughable. The taste of the food was good but being so cold was not enjoyable. Had to flag down another server to get coffee refill and had to flag down someone for our bill. A disappointment. read more

I haven't eaten at a Dennys in years due to becoming more familiar on how a good breakfast should be and I'll leave this one at that.... Comparing it to Dennys.
