My sister is visiting from Guam and this was her first breakfast place she went and she loved it so much I had to check it out for myself. I ordered the Annie Special that came with 3 bacon, 2 eggs, hash brown and toast plus a side of French toast. My over easy eggs were kinda almost hard. The hash brown needed to be cooked more and the 3 stars are for the bacon that was cooked perfect. The French toast was too eggy and it was hard. Since it's located in a strip mall, parking was super simple. To give some context: it was a Monday morning. The restaurant is seat-yourself (at least on a late Monday morning). We ordered the smothered home fries, some other kind of breakfast that had all the basics, one glass of orange juice, and one glass of grapefruit juice. Everything was GREAT. Haven't been to Annie's in a long time. Last time I was there with guests I was very disappointed. Ordered the fish and chips and it wasn't very good. Just tried Annie's for the first time and will definitely be back. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff is warm and friendly. The decor gives a diners a small feeling of being in the UK. They were busy but we were able to seat a party of five within ten minutes on a Saturday afternoon. I had the BLT with avocado and it was delicious. They do not skimp with the bacon or avocado. The bread was so tasty, one of the best BLTs I've had in awhile. Portions are very generous and presentation of the meals were wonderful. Should have taken pictures but honestly could not wait to eat. Be prepared for a fun time when the servers break out in song and dance. We even causing a glimpse of the kitchen staff busting a move or two during one of their numbers. This was my first time visiting this Annie's location, and it is even better than the Lake Elsinore location I have visited a number of times! Much like the Elsinore location the food is excellent and has a very reasonable price. I had the corned beef hash with 2 eggs, hash browns, and sour dough toast. It was some of the best corned beef hash I ever had. My wife got Annie's Super Special which included 2 eggs, 2 sausage, hash brows and toast/biscuit. Both meals were very good! My kids got french toast and pancakes, which was also very tasty! Annie's breakfast is just simply good eats all the way around! Now what makes this location better that the Lake Elsinore location (which I also gave a 5 star review) is the decor is nicer, as is the booth seating, and the staff is more fun. The staff was all not only friendly but they were all into the dancing and fun atmosphere that Annie's is all about. I say you should come to Annie's for the food, but stay around and also enjoy the entertainment! What a fun place! You can count on Annie's Cafe to turn a dull morning into a completely energized one. My family and I were visiting some of our relatives in Murrieta, and on our last morning with them they took us to Annie's Cafe. At first glance, it seems like a normal British-American breakfast place...even though, British-American is new to me. But throughout our dining experience, so many quirky and unique attributes came to light. For one, as first timers - we all were given these goofy hats to wear during our meal. I had to take mine off, otherwise the Flamingo would have eaten my breakfast for me. BUT we were told if we were caught not wearing them, we would have to dance. That brings me to quirky and unique attribute #2 - a lot of dancing. In the hour or so that we were there, we witnessed not 1, not 2, but 3 different dances being performed. Shake it Off! by Taylor Swift, Gangnam Style - Psy, and the frikken Macarena. The waiters perform but so do customers! Beware. It was great to have this kind of entertainment while I was still waking up. Not to mention, the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the double play! Which addresses all basic food groups. Most breakfast places give you the option of bacon or sausage...this joint lets you have both. Plus your sweet carb (pancakes, french toast, or a waffle) and two eggs any style - only $8.99. I love Annie's Cafe! The food is exceptional, but unfortunately I can't give the same review for the service. Lately it takes over 10 minutes to even get a drink order in or to get drink refills. If it wasn't for Oscar letting our server know that we were still waiting to get noticed we would have left. From the moment we walked in we felt at home by the warm greeting from the cashier to the pleasant waiter who served us. This place is much more than a cafe'. The food was superb. We had breakfast, and it was nice to finally find a place to eat where the cook can make a soft scramble egg correctly. The place was a little crowded, but we were seated in less than 5min. The owner and the wait staff are friendly and fun and even do a little dance for everyone that's goofy and gets the whole restaurant involved. Probably one of the reasons why I typically opt out of eating breakfast outside. $11.49 for two eggs, two bacon slices, two sausages, hash potatoes, and french toast is a bit much. Guess can't really blame them since they get enough volume with those pricing but this isn't for me. The sausages were pretty good to my surprise. The French toast was okay, not the best I had. My friend tried the Country Skillet which unfortunately wasn't good. Ok so eating out during this covid pandemic has been a challenge everywhere I have gone service has been brutally slow. Not at Annie's though! I was instantly greeted and seated with a coffee in hand instantly. Servers were amazing, very prompt and friendly. The owner herself was out waiting tables and taking orders. Being a business owner myself I absolutely loved the fact that she was out and interacting with customers, making sure everyone was satisfied, answering questions, bringing food and drinks out. Annie's has to be my favorite restaurant. When I go there I always order the same thing, the Winston Churchill. It is an English breakfast and it comes with English bacon, bangers, eggs, beans, potatoes (I get them hash brown style), mushrooms and tomatoes. The bangers are great, juicy on the inside with a snap on the outside. The English bacon is nice and flavorful, it taste like it has the perfect amount of salt. I get a side of fried bread which looks like regular toast but by no means is. It is very good. That is probably my favorite meal ever. I was in England a year and a half ago and loved the breakfast over there. Then I come to find out about Annie's by where I live and it is just as great as the breakfast I had when I was over there. Service is good most of the time. The woman who I believe might be Annie, or for sure the owner is friendly and very attentive. One time they didn't cook the bacon to her standards and she apologized to me and had them make me another batch. I didn't complain she saw it as she was bringing out the food and said they cooked it too long. Taste wise the bacon was good but visually not up to her standards so I got to eat two orders of bacon. I recommend this to everyone. When someone visits me this is where I take them. I don't always go there but when I do it is always great. There are three guarantees in life: death, taxes, and that Annie's will always be delicious. read more

I understand that places have bad days sometimes. The owner, Jan, and I spoke about my previous experience at this location and I was given an option to return. I took her up on that offer, but not before I paid for a meal on my own dime again first. The experiences were much better on my last two visits, reminding me of what I liked about their sister restaurant. The hats, the hourly staff dance (the choreography is impressive on the current "Uptown Funk" song), the British decor both inside and out, and of course, the food. Their breakfast and lunch menus are extensive. I had the Number One (egg, bacon, two pancakes). The pancakes have a classic diner appeal with their large size and delicious fluffiness. I also had a little something called the Cupcake Macchiato, which on a rainy day akin to typical British weather brought a warm, sweet comfort to my taste buds. On my most recent visit I had the Monte Cristo (you can request it deep fried but it is not for the faintest of hearts) but look forward to returning for other menu great looking items--perhaps another full English breakfast (Winston Churchill order) as I'm now assured the plate will be served on par with what I tried at the original location. The waitstaff was attentive and the dining room was filled with patrons on both occasions. I've been a fan of the Lake Elsinore Annie's location, and now after giving them another shot I can say I'll be coming back to this Temecula location. It's a treasured local business with the sweetest of owners. I appreciate Jan's efforts to make sure all of her customers are satisfied and acknowledge what needs to be improved.
