    Tons of people waiting

Food is awesome! How about instead of dancing while the food is piling up in the window and people are having to come to the counter and complain they haven't received their food maybe focus on the core business of getting the food out! Tons of people waiting to be seated and 3 booths standing open for 10 min... do better!

Great restaurant in Temecula perfect for recovery after a fun day wine tasting!! The menu has great food selections either for breakfast or lunch. There is a minimum wait time but I can taste why. The service is awesome, with friendly staff, even putting in a dance show every so often, which I found to be really cool. The restaurant is perfect for small to medium sized groups. We avoided the wait and went straight to the counter and it was great. The food was so delicious and well portioned. Definitely would come back again next time I'm in Temecula

I took my mom to Annie's Cafe Temecula for a fun birthday lunch. While this isn't a 'British Restaurant' per say, there are some British food items and souvenirs for sale and some British decor elements including a red phone box, post box and scenic wall murals. The girl on the front desk could have had a bit more enthusiasm and customer service panache, but the rest of the staff were friendly and bubbly, if not slightly rough around the edges. When I told the hostess we were celebrating a birthday in my family, she clearly grey-rocked me. Having said that, after telling the waitress that we were celebrating a birthday, a few staff came over later singing and dancing 'Happy Birthday' and placed a birthday 'cake hat' on my mom momentarily. That made her day! At one point a few staff also danced down one of the aisles of the restaurant which was immense fun. (I think they do this on a regular basis). The place was pretty busy on a Sunday lunch time, but we managed to get a booth right away. Just inside the door, there is a small 'wall shop' of a few British food items and souvenirs, including marmalade, HP sauce, Wine Gums, Heinz Beans and Annie's puddings. The breakfast/lunch menu is long and varied, and fairly typical diner food -- it may not be for you if you're a health freak! All in all, my mom really enjoyed her birthday diner experience at Annie's Cafe Temecula. Helpful?

I specifically wanted to try this because of the reviews on yelp. I have seen it plenty of times but never thought to try it. We were seated right away when we got there. It wasn't packed but it wasn't empty either. My first impression was good, it was clean, the staff were super nice and the prices were comparable to any restaurant in the area. I ordered a pretty classic breakfast and my daughter did as well but added chocolate chips to the pancakes and they looked great. Our food came out in a good amount of time. I thought it was great but I was also hungry too so that may have added to it. The pancakes were big , they came on a separate plate. We ordered water and my only negative would be the water tasted like tap water which I get because it is free but a filter would be nice. It is a cute diner/cafe vibe with good food, nice staff and a clean and cute atmosphere. I liked the atmosphere better than some of the diner cafes in the area. It's not outdated or old looking. I think it's worth a try. It's not exactly insta worthy but I give five stars for matters to me!

I wanted to add a follow up review for Annie's because my experiences here just keep me great. The food is so YUM. The chill British atmosphere is nostalgic and the servers are among the best in town. I'll keep coming to Annie's for as long as they'll have me. If you haven't tried, please do! Eat local, not big box. Go to Annie's!

A few more visits later, everything is still amazing. Ordered the chilaquiles with carnitas. Carnitas were piled high and were super tender and flavorful. Wendy was our server and took great care of us. Later, Mimi took over when Wendy was off for the day and service was still spot on. A constant flow of guests throughout our visit came in keeping the place busy on a Saturday afternoon. Keep on Yelp'n!

Went in for brunch and ordered my usual, the avocado toast with fried eggs on top. It's a simple dish, always satisfying and filling. I like to pair it with their homemade green chile and salsa, it's such a great combo. If you're craving breakfast or brunch, this place should be on your list. Cozy vibes, great food, and consistent quality. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Yelp ya later!

I've been to this café several times and every time I've had really great service. The food is pretty good, I'm big on breakfast so that's usually all I get here. I've tried the chilaquiles, corned beef hash, and their specialty French toast. All of which were very delicious and filling. The restaurant is spacious but also gives off a cozy vibe. Definitely one to try out whenever you're in town or you're a local with a hankering for a good breakfast.

Annie's Cafe local restaurant in Temecula. This is my first time to this location. We received fast friendly service here. They even had live entertainment where they played music and staff started dancing. The food here was delicious. I ordered the fish and chips that came with steak fries and coleslaw.

We were in town for a mini vacation and wanted to try Annie's Cafe, based on the reviews and the location. Sitting right off of the freeway in Temecula, it's easy to find and get to, although you may miss the turnout if you're not paying attention on Jefferson. There are a few British photo-op props you can take pictures with while waiting to be seated, or even afterwards. They also have a small merchandise area, in case you wanted a small souvenir. Gratuity is automatically included for larger groups. The knight's armor display between the bathrooms is pretty cool. We arrived bright and early around 730 on a Saturday, and it filled up very quickly. While I'm not sure if it's a weekend special or a daily special, there was a chalkboard out in front highlighting a $12.99 steak and eggs special before 9AM. AMAZING deal to start the day. The steak is cooked to order, and you have a few options to choose from, and they're decent options....not cheap menu fillers. Probably why it filled up so quickly. Service is fast and friendly, and for larger groups, there are small table extenders that connect two together - great as a space-saver for fixed booths and tables. Boysenberry syrup is available for you pancake, waffle and french toast lovers! The waffle itself was huge, and the french toast was just as hefty. I didn't realize the portion size and ended up taking most of my toast to go. They have plenty of Smuckers jams, jellies and syrup to chose from - great for the to-go orders. The food is good, comes out very fast and will fill you up...also probably the main reason why the restaurant filled up so quickly. While there may be quite a few options nearby for breakfast and brunch, you won't be disappointed with the fluffy french toast, waffles, pancakes and the savory food.

    Is the place pet friendly?

no, the waitress is not nice for my pet

Do they offer anything without wheat flour? any gluten-free options?

We sure do Kim! We offer gluten free pancakes, waffles, French toast, and regular bread for our sandwiches. It never hurts to let your server know if there is an allergy so we can take extra care when we prepare the dish.

From the TVs and chairs to the overall layout, everything feels thoughtfully put together and the design really comes full circle. And as a military mom, I especially loved the huge American flag. It's stunning and gives the place such a great presence. The bar looked fantastic too. Unfortunately, the food was a major missed opportunity. I had high hopes for the ribeye, but it was thin and nothing particularly special. Honestly, I could've gotten something comparable at Sizzler for half the price. My burger was edible, but the bun tasted cheap, which was disappointing for the price point. And the fries... They were cold, stale, tasted frozen, and honestly seemed like they had been sitting around since yesterday. That's what makes this so frustrating--the restaurant itself has SO much potential. The atmosphere is gorgeous, the location is great, and Temecula desperately needs more places with this kind of vibe. But when the food doesn't match the effort put into the space, it really feels like a missed opportunity. If you're coming from drinks alone - maybe a spot to catch

My parents visited Oscar's while they were out in Temecula a few weeks ago, and I am not exaggerating when I say they have not stopped talking about this place since. And apparently neither have the friends they went with. The food? Amazing. The drinks? Amazing. The atmosphere? Amazing. But the thing they keep coming back to is the staff--especially the bartenders. They could not stop talking about how genuinely friendly, hilarious, welcoming, and entertaining everyone was. Weeks later they're still repeating stories and jokes from that night like they just got home yesterday. And this wasn't some neighborhood spot five minutes from their house. They were out there on a little getaway, so for a random stop to become one of the things they remember and talk about most says a lot. My parents are pretty easygoing customers and aren't the type to make a huge production over a restaurant, which is exactly why hearing them rave about Oscar's this much caught my attention. So Oscar's Brewing Company--and especially the crew working that night--thank you. You gave my parents and their friends one hell of a memorable experience. Apparently now I need to make the trip to Temecula myself and see what all the damn hype is about. 5 stars from the people who went--and 5 stars from the guy who's been hearing about it for weeks.

When we were seated, we asked for a high chair three separate times before one was finally brought to our table. The high chair turned out to be too small for our son, so we asked if we could use a booster seat on the end chair instead. The server seemed hesitant, mentioning she wasn't sure she'd be able to get by the chair. We said that was fine and instead placed the booster seat between my wife and me. After struggling to get our son comfortable, we eventually realized the booster seat has two different height settings depending on which side is facing down. It would have been helpful if that had been pointed out when it was brought to the table. Throughout the meal, our server seemed distracted and wasn't around very often. Our food was brought out by other staff members, which isn't necessarily a problem by itself, but combined with the lack of check-ins it made the service feel disconnected. The biggest disappointment came when I took my son outside while we waited. The benches, chairs, and handrails in the waiting area were covered in bird droppings. There were spider webs in multiple places, and the entrance to the restaurant itself looked dirty. I understand the restaurant is going for an old harbor or fishing-boat atmosphere, but there's a big difference between rustic and neglected. Instead of feeling charming or nautical, it felt like years of dirt and grime had simply been left in place. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but basic cleanliness and attentive service are things I expect from any restaurant, especially when dining with a young child. I hope management takes this as constructive feedback because the restaurant has potential, but our experience left us with little desire to return.
