This was the 3rd time coming to this salon. The first tine was great. Got exactly what I wanted. Came back for my second time and the girl screwed up my cut. Not a big deal to me. It's hard to cut my hair the way I want. So I wasn't too upset. For my 3rd appt. I wanted color and cut. My appt. was with Wendy. She is really nice. I had a picture of what I wanted. She looked and it and said ok. I wanted blonde on top and dark underneath. I knew before going in I wouldn't get as light as in the picture I showed her. When I was done I noticed she just gave a a bunch of highlights. The dark color didn't even take. But it looked cute. So I didn't complain. The day after my appt my hair started to turn orange. I called and they got me in a few days later to fix it. So I thought we were going to do the whole process over with. Nope.. she did a 3 step process. I don't tend to complain about haircuts when I left I left thinking my hair looked great. Bit when my friends saw my hair cut, they laughed at me saying my "long bob" was so uneven that they offered me to cut off some of it off themselves. My friend even took photos of my haircut and confirmed my nightmare. Walked in and they were able to take me in... I got Chris and her bubbly personality sold me. Showed her what I wanted and after her asking me a few questions, she went to town. I have medium brown long hair, not super thick but it has a lot of volume. For this reason I prefer to do cut and color between two appts, all at once can take about 4hrs. I was a client here for about 3yrs, my only complaint was that the stylist would sometimes rushed through the blowout out, as the next client was already waiting. I kept going back for their reasonable prices and the work of the stylist. Then I decided to get highlights. Long story short, my stylist had already advised the receptionist that she didn't want to get booked for any cuts in between this long session. I overheard that the owners want stylists to work on a 2nd client, men cuts (short haircut) while the 1st client's color sets. So this happened to me, while my hair was in the drier (foils & bleach on), a guy returned to get his cut -- his appt was earlier but my stylist was still applying the bleach. I started getting concerned, but I thought.. I'm sure my stylist is keeping time and it should be fine, plus I'm not the expert here. The whole transaction w/the guy probably took about 30-40 min...meanwhile my hair is still in the drier. As soon as she washed and toned my hair, she could not, for the life of her, pass a comb through my hair. She did a treatment just to untangle the whole mess. I didnt realize how bad it was until I washed my hair at home. The shine is gone, elasticity is gone, it's completely burned in the crown area, it's painful doing my hair. It takes a lot of product to tame my "afro". I blame the owners first, their GREEDY POLICIES are only affecting their customers, mistakes are bound to happen with overworked stylists. Second I was disdapointed that my stylist placed the blame on me, telling me " I should do a better job taking care of hair, even virgin hair needs treatment". If i was a teenager, I would be crying everyday just looking at my hair. I will be chopping off my hair soon. read more

Aug. 8, 2015 This review is for the 8 year old son. And yes I did find this place on yelp. We walk in at 10:15 on a Sunday and they already have people waiting which I expected. I'm greeted right away and within a minute or two they give me a wait time of 15 minutes. We leave to the Smart & Final next door for about 10 minutes come back and wait another 10 minutes to be seen. Nansi was his stylist and got the idea of what I wanted right away. His hair can be a little difficult due to the cow lick that only allows me to style his hair one way and one way only. But she got it. I love the service and professional atmosphere of the salon. Will definitely be bringing the rest of my family here. I recommend making an appointment before coming in. read more
