This was such a great experience. My family and I went out for some breakfast hoping to try someplace new that was actually good. It was. About the food: we had eggs, bacon, shrimp and grits, cinnamon roll French toast and a Belgian waffle. It all was truly delicious. We plan to come back within the next two weeks to eat here again. The bacon was especially good because they bake it and it's thick. The consistency is great. The waffle was light and fluffy, the shrimp and grits were perfectly spicy. Bonus! If it's your first time there, they give you an order of their beignets with honey marmalade! Crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside, rolled in powdered sugar, and then you dip it in the marmalade. Great way to start the meal. That's what I call an appetizer! Ask for Gale. We waited 50 and then went inside to check. They told us we were 8th in line and that it would be another 45-50 minutes. This is probably unfair, but... My wife and I went for the first time and ate a Saturday meal here. It took over an hour to get our meal. Both meals were tasteless. Our server apologized when he presented our bill. It seems most of the kitchen staff did not come into work. Perhaps post a notice, warn customers or just close when this happens. This place is slowly going downhill. Food is sub-par. I ordered a limited-time menu item of lobster benedict with fried onions on top. Cost: $16.99. The food, including the side of potatoes, was warm and un-fresh. No lobster in the benedict that I could see. The eggs are on top of potato cakes, instead of an English Muffin, so you are getting an overload of potatoes if you also get the side of potatoes. I had that item returned and ordered the Eggs Blackstone Benedict, which I have had before. They were good, but again, didn't taste fresh. The Eggs Blackstone were $14.99, but I got charged the full price of $16.99, which was the price for the sub-par lobster benedict. Avoid this place until management starts caring about these matters. Very disappointing and will not return. read more

Table service was pleasant....until the table next to ours began yelling at our server to capture her attention to locate her waiter/waitress who had not made their way to the other table. If I had to call what I observed I would say our waitress lost her cool table service we were greeted with and plunged into a mental battle and later a vocal engagement that she would later apologize to our table and a few others for her behavior. Atmosphere was rather nice, good ambiance. The wait time was 40 mins for food, and about 25 mins for drinks (Orange juice and raspberry tea). This was at 11 am on a friday, so while the restaurant was popular, it wasn't filled and there were still empty seats. Therefore, we expected way better service time. We ordered the tiramisu french toast with eggs and sausage. The sausage tasted like the cooks dumped a bottle of sage into it, genuinely unedible. The uniqueness about ABE is that they offer corresponding but interesting adult bevies and New Orleans style beignets. No espresso drinks though. Ingredients are on the southern side with buttermilk, shrimp and grits, cream cheese and more cheese. I typically get their omelets, skillets and occasionally pancakes. +. The place has a nice location after your done eating and want to check out some of the other stores you can do so. I went there on A Sunday afternoon and the place was busy, I got on the waitlist through Yelp( pretty accurate wait time was 40 minutes and we waited on average about that time) once we were seated it took a hour for the food to arrive. The waitress would apologize for the wait. That was nice. We ended up having to take ours to go so after waiting the additional hour for our food. we needed it to be packed away, our waitress was accommodating didn't seem like she mine. Now onto the food, it was good not great. I ended up getting the blueberry lemon goat cheese pancake minus the goat cheese due to the omelette I had, I customized it with goat cheese and didn't want a goat cheese overload. I didn't taste any lemon zest in the pancakes as a ingredient and the kitchen forgot to add the lemon whip so maybe that could've of been the lemon zest? And I would've liked fluffy pancakes. The pancakes were pretty flat with some blueberries thrown on top,The best thing for me was the omelette I had. That was a 10/10 I believe it was called the Monetary omelette sub goat cheese, My bf had the power country bowl he said it was ok. The "pros", the people that we interacted with were super-nice and friendly, and the Eggs Benedict were a definite A. Beyond that, the Beignets (not light and fluffy like New Orleans), the server was super (but also working a large group at the same time...could have been better), price was appropriate for the cuisine (excluding the $4 coffee), all these are a B grade. Ambiance - noisy, tables a little sticky, silverware dirty (old food, not waterspots) earns a C grade. Side of fruit (half the fruit was actually frozen), the coffee (which was slightly better than nothing), and the parking (parking is terrible), have all earned a grade of a low D. This is probably our third and last visit to this place. We were surprised with this visit because there was no wait to be seated, and there was actually a parking space in the parking lot. As it turns out, my guess is that the place wasn't as crowded as it has been in the past, because others have drawn the same conclusion as we did...We can get a better dining experience, closer to home, and at a better price. My brother-in-law and I checked this place out one morning. It's in a nice area, very cozy and has a good number of parking spaces. I got the 'Lobster and Brie Omelette Breakfast' since I love to try anything that has lobster or brie in it. The fact that this dish contained both made it a no-brainer for me to get this for my first meal here. And honestly because of that, I also had high expectations going in. To be short and sweet, the dish was okay. The flavors were there, but something felt like it was missing. Also, the omelette itself looked a bit sad, quantity-wise. The egg part of the omelette is very thin. I'm used to thick, plump omelettes and when I saw this dish hit the table, I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed. That being said, again, flavors are good, and since I'm a sucker for lobster and brie, the dish met those needs. The sides were great and complimented the omelette well. The potatoes helped save the dish for me, since I love potatoes in every shape and form as well. Overall, the dish hit the spot but was not as unique as I thought it'd be. Just had a great meal! We've been to this location before, and it's always been good. Today, it was just me and my husband, and we did wait quite awhile (about 45 min), but really, what else can you expect on Saturday brunch? But ABE has its waitlist tied to Yelp so you can check your place in line, which is really helpful! Our server, Celina, was attentive, friendly and gave us some great recommendations! The wait here is usually long we were able to add ourselves to the waitlist before we left the house on yelp. That helped a lot when we got there we only had to wait another 20 minutes as opposed to some people who were walking in and they were given an hour and 30 minute wait. Make sure you tell them that you are a new guest and they give you free beneits (sp) I had a mango kiwi Mamosa it was OK I won't get it again. I had a lobster and Brie omelette. It was very good. I was being greedy and got a side of cinnamon roll French toast. It was cold and rockhard so I sent it back and had her remove it from my bill. Then the waitress put my friends tab on my cc. She rectified it though. Other than that the food was good the experience was great and I will definitely be back. There is surrounding Parking as this place is located in a shopping like center. This location is nestled in the CVS shopping center on Paces Ferry Rd. Parking is tight, so plan accordingly. I love coming here for late lunch. This place is usually busy, but I'm usually seated pretty quickly and the wait staff is exceptionally attentive. The food is plentiful and so delicious!!
