The food is always good but the overall attention to customer service and coordination is terrible regardless of the day and time visited. My last visit was on November 20 at 10am. The place was not very busy and I was seated right away (that part was perfect). Yet I then waited 15 minutes for a wait staff to take my drink order! If I would have thought I could leave and get a decent breakfast somewhere else at that time of the morning - I would have left. I specifically asked the waiter of what was going to arrive was actual french fries, he responded, yes. Cubed breakfast potatoes is what arrived. When I reminded him of the inquiry, he wanted to argue. And also came from another table to continue while I discussed this with my family. Appetizer: Monster Cinnamon Roll, fabulous! Entrees: Grilled cheese, a bit gourmet for the children, but it looked, great! Lobster and brie omelet: this was eggs folded over cream cheese with imitation lobster meat sprinkled over the top with slices of brie. I went to another broken egg the other morning to enjoy a nice brunch. It was a slight wait, but super worth it. I got the vanilla cold brew coffee and enjoyed it while waiting for the food. Came here for Sunday brunch a few weeks back. The wait time was reasonable. Our waitress was probably the best part of the experience; she was really personable and knowledgeable of the menu :) besides the food in the picture (which was good), we ordered some beignets that were ok (pretty dry). While this doesn't stand out to other brunch spots, it is a good menu. I got the skinny omelet and requested to sub the english muffin and fruit with grits and whole grain bread. They brought out everything at no extra charge. While I got the plain grits, they were pretty dang good. I think the table's favorite were the beignets to share with an orange honey dip. Second close was the huevos rancheros. Service was great. Fun to people watch at this place as well. While nothing spectacular, it served its purpose. A tip, call in 30 minutes before you arrive. The food is good and we typically have a great experience at this location. This time, we checked in on yelp because there was a wait and we specified in the wait request that we would like to be seated outside. We arrived 15 minutes later to check in. They said they would not seat us outside because it was too cold and they had been comping peoples meals because they would complain their food was cold. It was only 65° outside, which I do not constitute as cold. Plus, we had our dog with us, so inside was not an option. We asked if there was any way we could be seen, even offering to not complain about cold food. They said they could not help us. We called the location on Citiplace and they were more than happy to have us and our dog sit outside and they apologized for our poor experience at the other location. I guess we will have to drive further so we can have the whole family be able to sit and have brunch together. read more

Loved this little place. Hubby had community coffee which is very strong, I took a little sip of it. I ordered the crab cake Eggs Benedict and hubby ordered egg white omelette with crawfish, ham and shrimp. Each entree came with a side of potatoes. Both were delicious. I've been here almost every Saturday morning for months and I am never disappointed. The food is always fresh. One negative is that it is typically busy so get there before or after "rush" hours.
