Getting back from vacation and craving good ol American southern food, we found this restaurant on Google maps and decided to give it a try. Boy, are we glad we did! There was a wait for a table being 10:30am on a Saturday, so we opted to eat at the bar. Eating at the bar is more our vibe anyways, and it was so perfect! The service was outstanding and the food very delicious! We ordered a coffee and a pitcher of the Grand Mimosas. We watched them make it and they use a whole bottle of sparkling wine to our delight. We ordered the Chicken Biscuit Sandwich with a half order if biegnets, which they brought out as appetizers. Yum, yum, and YUM!! We also ordered the Bourbon street pancakes with bananas and rum butter syrup. Omg, they were perfect. Each layer had bananas and pecans and there was the perfect amount of syrup. Mollie was our bartender/server and she was outstanding. All the staff were impressive though and you could tell the whole restaurant was happy. We would 100% return and highly recommend! read more

We walked in to enjoy a nice breakfast only to NOT be greeted at all. No hostess. Only a bartender who was more concerned with laughing with a patron and shining her glass. After a minute of waiting, we said this is not ok. She looked at us and back to talking. Not a single person come to help. We decided to walk out. I said I'm going to leave a review and she laughed again. Way to go with customer service. I live around the corners and thought this would be a good try. Too bad. Came in here for the first time to have breakfast today, June 10th. Our waitress was Jaelynne B, which by the way she is so sweet really good at her job and we even connected. This place has been opened for about 6-7months. The interior is nicely decorated with modern farm charm. The aesthetic is very pleasing. Booths are comfortable and you gave privacy from the next rock across from you so that's nice. We ordered the light roast and then moved up to the second cup and tried their dark roast, which I highly recommend their dark roast, both are nice but we really enjoyed the dark roast better. We ordered the Hey Lucy omelette, which has chorizo, eggs, green chilis onions, salsa and sour cream on the side and topped with cheddar jack cheese and a nice slices of avocado on top. It also comes with an English muffin and fresh cut fruit. I highly recommend this omelette it was fresh, hot tasty and pretty legit! Because it was our first time, they brought us a complimentary mini beignets with a side of orange marmalade, tasty tasty! We are on the road so we didn't want to eat a lot, so we split the Hey Lucy Omelette, but the Lucy is great for just one person, it's really good trust me you don't want to share. read more

This is a great brunch option! The menu has a good mix of lunch and breakfast items to suit everyone in your party. I opted for the shrimp n grits. The grits were smooth and cheesy and the focaccia was grilled nicely. I didn't love the tiny shrimp though...I would have preferred a larger, fresher shrimp. The dish was very tasty! read more

Lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes. Pancakes were good topped with yummy lemon zest whipped cream. Only about ten blueberry on the plate but not in the pancakes. The goat cheese was almost non existent/less than a teaspoon total. The maple chicken sausage was delicious. The medium cooked egg still had very liquid whites. My family and I enjoyed our meal at another broken egg. The menu caters to most palates and is also affordable. Our server was the absolute sweetest and the general manager did his best making sure we were seating in a timely manner. If I am ever in the area with a little time to spare I will be back. With power out in much of Bellevue, and icy roads, we ended up at Another Broken Egg Cafe looking for a hot meal. There was a sign on the door saying that they were extremely short staffed. We went in and waited for a few minutes until a young woman came over and said she was the only server and that she would be with us as quickly as she could. While we were waiting, a manager came out and seated us and took our drink order. He then took our food order and basically took over our table and others to help out. He was running food, bussing tables, etc. When the food came, it was hot and good. Nice portion sizes. This was one of my best restaurant experiences and it comes down to excellent management and dedication from the staff. Kudos to the staff that made it in and did such a GREAT job! read more

Yesterday we had the pleasure to visit Another Broken Egg Cafe in Bellevue. The restaurant has recently opened in this location, so everything inside looked fresh and new. Our server was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed during our visit. We started with the biscuit beignets and these were delicious! Served warm, covered in powdered sugar, and accompanied by a dipping sauce, these were a great way to start our meal. Our group of three tried the crab cake Benedict, city grits, and the supreme omelet. The omelet had plenty of meat and my husband was quite satisfied. He also had a side of bacon that was cooked to perfection. The crab cake Benedict was served on English muffins that were hard to cut into (I had to use my knife), so I left a good part of it behind on my plate. I was not a fan of the hollandaise sauce, either. My mother said that the whites of her poached egg were not fully cooked. Although I love a good Benedict, I don't think I would order this one again. The city grits were garnished with green onions and tomatoes which made them more flavorful and different than any other grits I have tried. We joined the waiting list online before arriving so we only waited about 5 minutes before we were seated. The restaurant was busy and there were quite a few people waiting. Our waitress was friendly and our food came out rather quickly. However, we were missing food and by the time our waitress came back around, we were almost done eating. This restaurant offers a call ahead waitlist. We were taking my mother out for brunch so we called ahead and was placed on the list and told it would be 15 minutes but when we arrived on time we were told it would be at least another 20 minutes. They offer very limited seats to wait and our mother uses a walker and can't stand for long periods of time. We we were told that the reason for the additional 20 minute wait was due to a couple of large party walk ins. Apparently, walk ins take priority over the call in wait list. read more

Let me start by saying I own a couple of independent breakfast restaurants & don't normally eat at chains. As soon as I entered the restaurant I noticed how new & clean everything was, it turned out it was there very first day being open for business. Our waitress was very sweet, a little nervous, but really cared about getting our orders correct which she did. The host & another manager we're also very friendly. The food was very good, I was thrilled with the GF menu & was able to eat pancakes here which were delicious! If this place keeps it up with the great service & food they will be very successful. Omg.. we waited almost an hour after ordering and never received our food. We were hungry, so we left and had some decent grub at the Waffle House. This was our second try and second fail, sadly. It was about 10:45-11:00 and they were not busy. Maybe the kitchen staff was in an extended smoke break where they had to harvest their own tobacco. This was going to be the first time there and I was going to take my mom there. First we asked to sit outside, then they was going to sit us inside we was like "we asked for an outside table". They told us that someone sat them self outside so we had to wait again. Then they tell us they are opening the outside bar top. It took forever to get seated and there was no one there. I ordered a lobster dish that was a specialty for the season. I asked for the egg to be well done When I cut into it, yellow sprayed everywhere onto the dish. It was supposed to have lobster. I never saw any lobster.
