I took my wife and kids for breakfast. Our server, Sabine was excellent! She was very helpful and friendly. I had the steal cut oats which were good but portion size was small. I ordered a side of french toast which was very well done! My wife had the eggs benedict and a side of the city grits. The benedict was ok and the city grits are worth a try. We were a little disappointed with the coffee. If you enjoy standard diner style brew then you won't mind, it's just very basic. Excellent service. My large Italian family planned a last minute get together. We had a private room and were given great service. Our servers Eva and Rebecca were personable and able to keep up with the demands of the table. We also had 3 little boys and a toddler to cater to. I truly wish I could give them a 5 star rating but they're just not quite there. Don't get me wrong the food is soooooo good. However, we've been there several times and the seem to always get one of our orders wrong. Usually not a big deal, and they always make it right, but we usually go after church with our family (kids and grands) and it can make it kinda rough on us when it's a kids plate that's not right (never a good thing) or the kids finish up and the adults are now having to rush through their meal because the kids are restless. So I recommend not using this "skip the line" jargon to get people in. --- The waitress was great. The food took a while to come out. Luckily, we had some color pencils to keep the kids busy. We were also given complimentary beignets, which was a great. The kids had choc chip pancakes, the chips are on top, not cooked inside of the pancake, so be sure if you have little ones, NOT to get this option. It was just the same as having regular pancakes for kids with melted chips on top. Sabina was a great server!! I got the cityscape Benedict the sauce wasn't a traditional hollandaise but they do bacon instead of Canadian ham which is a huge plus. My husband ordered steel cut oats and a side of French toast which he said was really tasty. I like that they include eggs and bacon with the pancake orders. I ate here after it was highly recommended to me, but I was not overly impressed. The meal I ordered came with 2 eggs, bacon, gluten-free pancakes, and potatoes. Everything tasted good, but could easily be mistaken for the same thing at an Ihop. I think for a fair review I should have tried one of their specials. You get large portions of food and the coffee is much stronger and better than Dunkin Donuts. The servers are friendly and attentive. The food tastes good and is affordable but what made my experience so delightful was my lovely waitress Michelle H.! She was literally my favourite part of the day! She was friendly and attentive and since the place wasn't so busy when we got there she kept us amused until our food arrived by telling us about her creepy love of cemeteries! :D she even gave us free beignets! Decided to try this place with my parents while at home. First thing I noticed was the tables were not bussed well, with a few tables still having old patrons dishes. Upon sitting down, we asked for the beignets which were heavy, greasy, and fairly burnt. The main meals we received were a few different omelets. The Chez B's I received was fairly salty but overall fairly good. The potatoes were not crispy or warm. We had to search at different tables for jam and sugar as needed for the coffee.
