Double Crunch Breakfast Taco
Bryee P.

First time to this location! I love how it's nice and bright inside ! I got the Double crunch breakfast taco and morning meditation juice, both were good! The bf got the Floridian French toast and chicken sausage, he loved both! Will definitely be going back

Our experience was a little to be desired. I did the 'check in' ahead - and when I got there and checked in they told me they would clean up the tables - I waited and waited. Finally, I had to ask someone else to help me because it wasn't happening. The food was a bit slow to arrive - a variety of pancakes, egg whites with turkey, bacon and more. The coffee was in a carafe so there was plenty of it! We took home some of the eggs and the hash browns! Very large portions.

Havent been here in a year or so. Just landed from a redeye flight, craving food and this was our to go spot. Service was fast but in point. Everyone there was really nice! Coffee was american, really light, not too strong tbh. My trifecta is can say the best scrambled eggs, not too dry, cheesy and perfectly seasoned. Biggest pancake i've ever seen but so good!! Sister had the french toast and scrambled eggs, crunchy and flavorful! We got there at 7:50 so it was really calm, clean and no noise. I might be cheating on my fast food breakfast places for this one!!

DO NOT ORDER THE PESTO Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl

This is the Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl and I only ordered this because the server said "it is phenomenal". It was not to say the least the plate smelled like soap and typically I order something else but today I left the establishment still hungry. Also the glass container of water that was left on the table it had leftover residue on the inside of the glass and in the water itself. There were other things that weren't great for me like the side of bacon I ordered was cold, the biscuits and gravy was very water downed.

We tried first watch because we were on the way to Whole Foods in the same parking lot. The food is okay, we spent way more than we expected. The service was very slow, no one seemed to know who was taking care of our table. It's a casual place with cute decor, and trendy options. I don't think we would ever go back. Just not worth the wait or the prices.

Soup of the day: Vegetable. Mom didn't like
Arielle M.

Don't waste your time at the Delray Beach location. My mother and I came in for lunch. It wasn't overly busy and there were restaurant staff running around all over the dining room, but we had to seat ourselves and we had to wait a while between being greeted and ordering our food. I had to get up several times to flag down waitstaff. Mom kept it simple and weird with Soup of the day, which was vegetable soup, and cheesy grits. She didn't like and didn't finish the soup. The grits she liked. The baked cheese on top is a new way for me, reminded me of French onion soup, but looked good. I had a club sandwich. A club ALWAYS has bacon in it. If it doesn't then it's just a turkey sandwich. Someone in the kitchen here needs to either slow down or take a lesson, bc my bacon was missing. After flagging the waitress down (again). I was given 3 cold slices of bacon to add to my sandwich. The club came with either fries or a salad. What I didn't expect was a pile of the same exact greens used inside the sandwich to be sitting dressed next to the sandwich as well. No onion or tomato or carrots- absolutely nothing. I'm surprised that they would serve this with the sandwich, considering the salad is already inside the sandwich. Wasn't what I was expecting and really wish that they would've put a little more thought into that side salad. I haven't had the best experiences at this FW or the Boca so I probably won't come back

Wow! We went on a Sunday morning for breakfast (pre snow birds) and we were seated and served right away. I don't think I was there more than 30 minutes. It's exactly what I expect from a breakfast spot. Great job with the costumer service and attentiveness. I recommend the pomegranate pear punch.

Lemon Ricotta Pancakes
Melinda S.

Liked this place a ton!!! Only open until 2:30. They only serve breakfast and lunch. The lemon pancakes were to die for!!! Just enough lemon flavor and the curd on top perfectly done!! The Bloody Mary was amazing with a slice of million dollar bacon! Our server Michelle was the sweetest and really attentive! If I could come here every morning,I would!

Found parking right out front and there was a public parking lot right across the way. It was pretty busy and we were lucky to have grabbed a table inside. The line moved quickly but grows quicker! It's a bit pricey but it was a good meal! The pistachio latte was really good and not too sweet, I also got a chicken caesar wrap which was filling and tasted good. My son got the steak bowl which was a great portion (he's 3). And my friend got the steak sandwich which looked bomb!

I was especially excited to see outdoor seating since we have three little ones with us, which made everything so much easier. The moment we walked in, all of our kids' faces lit up--we all just said, "wow!" It's truly a beautiful space. I'd love to come back for a quiet date with my husband sometime. I ordered an iced pink chai latte and it was delicious (my kids kept trying to steal sips ). My husband got a cold brew with cold foam and really enjoyed it. The kids had donuts and were very happy, so overall it was a win for everyone. My only complaint would be the cup sizes. The 12oz felt surprisingly small--it was gone after just a few sips! My husband and I both laughed because we felt the same way. We'll definitely be back!

DO NOT COME HERE…read more They banned my autistic friend for saying "racial and religious" comments but wouldn't clarify to her what she said. She is literally the nicest person I've ever met and has literally been involved in almost every single progressive cause since I met her back at Columbia. She's hosted interfaith events with Christians and Muslims and Sikhs, worked on homelessness, even was recognized by the White House 2x for her work on homeless students by both Obama's DOE and Trump's DOE, has donated multiple summers time to work with predominately POC communities in Harlem, and we've even volunteered doing hundreds of hours of pro-LGBT activism to help genderqueer and trans people get equal rights at Columbia. But why was she banned? The owner wouldn't tell her. But she did mention that she made (according to the owner) "racial and religious" remarks and said that "we don't talk about those issues here." What racial comments? She's half Latino and one of her adoptive families is Arab/Indian. Nobody in my life, past 10 years, has said she's said anything even mildly offensive. This is why I'm so confused. She also said multiple other people complained about her. What could my 29-yo autistic friend say that was SO offensive to adults in Floridda that they felt they all had to report her? I hope we will find out in the coming weeks as we work with local rabbis and other business officials with the city. Thankfully the person who overheard Esta is coming with me to meet my rabbi in Boca and a discrimination official in two days days and we are going to see what we can do with the recording we have. Sadly, this comes down the human decency. My friend is distraught and is so sad she/we can't come back to the bar. She doesn't want trouble, she just wants to know what she did wrong. As an advocate for the neurodivergent community and my friend of many years, this to me is unacceptable. Please read up on neurodivergent kids and the struggles they face making friends and not accidently being offensive. If she really said anything offensive to someone's face, why not just pull her aside and explain why? Why wait till multiple people complain and then ban her? Not everyone is neurotypical and how is she supposed to fix her alleged behavior if she doesn't know what's wrong. This is really sad because she's been through so many years of therapy since college to even be able to talk in public and now she feels like she should hide. But I will not be taking my business here anymore. And I will be telling all the Jewish and Neurodivergent groups in Boca Delray and Pompano. It sucks because your green apple kratoms are so good. And the new cake is pretty good too. I really don't know what to make of this. After knowing her for almost 10 years and seeing her struggle to make friends, it's almost unimaginable that she would ever intentionally say something negative to someone's face and mean it. She is horrified that she may have offended someone and is traumatized by the whole thing. And you can't even tell her what she did wrong?

This is the first location of The Seed that I've been to, so I'm not sure how other locations compare, but this one was pretty small in general with limited seating inside. Luckily my fiancé and I got there while it was empty, so we were able to choose two of the four bar seats along the wall across from the counter. I had a latte with almond milk and house-made lavender syrup, and we each had a classic croissant sandwich. Latte with house-made lavender syrup: I really enjoyed this. My fiancé described this as a "mix of coffee and tea", which I think was fitting. The lavender syrup sweetened the coffee with light floral notes and the latte was a great balance between herbal, floral, and creamy overall. Classic croissant sandwich: The egg patty was pretty thick, I'd say just under a 1/2" thick. It was packed with bacon and cheese, and the sandwich was toasted the way I liked. The croissant was buttery and flakey, and overall I enjoyed the sandwich. There wasn't anything unique about the sandwich though, it was just a solid breakfast croissant sandwich that was made well. No special sauces or other ingredients. I guess that's why it's the classic. The staff was nice and pleasant, and our food and drinks were made in a reasonable amount of time. I do think the food and drink were a bit overpriced for what it was (our bill was ~$40 for two sandwiches and two drinks), but they say the ingredients are all locally sourced so I'm assuming that's why. Overall, this was a great experience and I'd certainly choose this The Seed over a larger chain coffee shop. Just know that the dollars can add up quickly here!

I ordered an iced cappuccino with whole milk and honey (they only offer 2 milks - whole and a homemade cashew milk). We got our drinks and proceeded to the beach. Sip 1, I started to feel funny and thought there was no way they didn't put whole milk in my drink. 2nd sip, and my whole body began to sweat, throat started to tingle, and I began losing strength and energy. Surely enough, the barista had made my drink with the homemade cashew milk. I'll spare you the details of the proceeding traumatizing events of my anaphylactic shock, but I am thanking the lord I was with people I love, had my EpiPen, and that the ambulance EMTs, and doctors at Bethesda Memorial ER were wonderful and attentive. I would like to acknowledge who I believe was the owner. He overheard my sister run into the cafe to ask the barista what kind of milk was in the drink. After she left the barely-drank drink on the counter and ran out, he chased us down the sidewalk when we were rushing back to our hotel and offered us Benadryl he had on hand. Obviously, he did not realize how severe the situation was and the Benadryl exited my body just a few minutes later, but it was kind of him to do. I am writing this review as both a warning to patrons to verify the ingredients in their drinks before drinking them if they have life-threatening food allergies like me (I obviously wish I had heeded my own advice). I am also writing this as hopefully a wake-up call for the employees of Deke's: food safety is your #1 priority as a food and beverage establishment. You offer only TWO milks. I asked for one of the milks, and you gave me the other, which was a milk made with 1 of the country's 9 major food allergens (tree nuts). This is not a situation of me not liking my drink - this is a matter of life or death. I was lucky enough to be with people I love and have a life-saving medical device at my hotel that I was able to use when my body was being deprived of oxygen and shutting down on itself. Some people are not so lucky. While I am sure you take pride in the drinks you are making, I am urging you to take more care for the people who are drinking them.
