I'd say 7/10 and there was a lot of food on that plate! I couldn't finish it. The 8 dollar iced caramel coffee I ordered was small and absolutely average in taste. This is one of my favorite brunch spot. I personally like to go here around like 8 to 10 AM when the crowd isn't too busy. I love seeing the smiles on the waitresses faces. They also have a bar that you can just walk up to an order little snacks and if you just want a drink in the morning. It's a very bright place. It looks beautiful. It has pictures of the history of the restaurant in it. One of my favorite things to get there is usually their seasonal pancakes. Are there seasonal French toast. They're always changing up the menu on like a monthly basis so every time you go in there, there's something new for you to find. But I love their French toast and pancake pancakes that are always cooked to perfection and always buttery and crisp. They also have some good mocktails as well. read more

Service was okay can't really complain about it but there was a piece of hair in my girlfriends food that didn't come from her hair or mines so we informed the server about the hair being in the food she said " if you don't want anything else we can take it off your bill " so we said take it off. She come back & says " our cook said she made the food herself & she couldn't have put the hair in the food so we can only do half off for the item on the bill " which we didn't have a problem with but damn if a customer come to you guys & respectfully address a issue I don't think it's professional to say " yea I made it personally it's no way I could've did that" instead of taking accountability but we will not be coming back to this location & probably not this restaurant need a lil more better options on the menu god bless read more

This is (was?) our nearest neighborhood breakfast/brunch spot. The food is excellent. Patio on a nice day? Pretty great (other than when it smells like urine, which is a 50/50 on a Sunday). The issue is they are "short staffed". That's why an empty restaurant takes 10 mins to seat you when there's one other person waiting. That's why you can't sit outside even though the place is maybe half full. That's why everything, if you dare to ask. In a nutshell, I'm not sure what's up with this place the last six months. First time here snd curious about it bec one of these cafe are opening near me in Whole Foods Plaza. This cafe is open inside/outside seating too and has an industrial feel to it. Server was friendly and brought their version of a beignet for us to try, not even close but they were warm. We had a big party(10) in the morning on a Saturday. 4 of us arrived 30m early to secure a long table. We waited by the door for 30m for the rest of our party to arrive because they wouldn't seat us despite our table being prepared already. They don't do reservations so keep that in mind. Visited Another Broken Egg Cafe this week. Very modern and clean design inside and outside seating is available as well. Nicely done. If there are any complaints, it's that the tables in some areas are very close to others. Great selection of breakfast/brunch foods. I think anyone would find something they like. I ordered the Supreme omelette with a side of Bourbon Street pancakes. The extra 2 stack of Bourbon St pancakes was a great deal and was really enough for two. Really good food at a reasonable price. This was my first visit here at this location. I had previously only visited the location in Pooler, GA. We had about a 20-30 minute once there even though we checked in on the app. The food came out fast but the city grits we ordered were stone cold. We sent them back to be reheated and we were given the grits from the very bottom of the pan which were scorched and inedible. We also ordered a pitcher of mimosas which in my opinion (also the table next to us as well) was way overpriced. The mimosas were indeed tasty though. $32 for a tiny pitcher would be better suited for something else on the menu. Perhaps like the beignet biscuits we ordered but never came. The waitress completely forgot but she did issue a card for a complimentary biscuit but it could only be used during the weekdays and not on weekends when we are able to actually do brunch. I will give this location another chance but not within 2 hours of closing. I wouldn't want to chance the quality. Go, but go early! read more

I have been to other locations before this, Southside in Jacksonville and one in Orlando, always consistent as the others. Drinks are always fresh and delicious, my watermelon slider (?) had a HUGE piece of watermelon attached. So yummy. Seafood, lobster, crawfish, on breakfast choices are what my dreams are made of. My friends and I were meeting for breakfast Saturday morning for a friend's birthday. Around 9am it wasn't too busy. It may have been the weather but we were happy. We had about 6 in our party. Alexis was our server and she was wonderful. I got the cinnamon roll French toast with scrambled eggs and bacon and coffee. The French toast was really good but super sweet. I think it would be better to split with another. The rum butter sauce is great that I didn't need the syrup. The scrambled eggs weren't great. Kind of rubbery. The bacon was cooked well. My wife and I are in town on a mini vacation. I ordered the Crab Cake Benedict. When it arrived, I noticed what looked like a piece of hair sticking out from the crabmeat. I pulled on it and a long (18" to 24") red hair came out from the crab. I took the plate to the waitress, who was appropriately apologetic as she could see the long hair on top of the plate. She took the plate and remade my meal. When my new meal arrived, 10 minutes later, my wife was already finished eating. Other than an apology from the waitress, no other person (manager, owner, etc) ever came by to say anything. When I received my bill, no credit was applied. No deduction whatsoever. I am not one to make a fuss to get free food. In this case, I shouldn't have had to. Pulling a long human hair from my food is disgusting. Some concession should have been offered. I paid the bill in full and did not penalize the waitress by not tipping appropriately. The concession that was not offered to me will be felt by Another Broken Egg Cafe in the form of lost business from those that read this review. read more

I've been waiting to try this place for years and I was not disappointed with the franchise when I did. I ordered the crab cake Benedict w/ grits ( they gave me potatoes) and some blueberry lemon pancakes. Both were exactly what I needed after working a 12 hour night shift. If I received my proper side i would give 5 stars. The food is spectacular and the prices are great! I'm coming for the mimosas next. This particular location is on the Riverside of Jacksonville near the Riverside Park. The restaurant is in a plaza. We actually decided to come have brunch after a walk in the park. We arrived early so not may patrons were there. The inside of the restaurant was nice and clean. There is table, bar & booth seating. decided to sit outside because we had our fur baby with us & we were seated right away. We sat for about 8-10minutes before our waitress arrived. Our waitress was very pleasant and even asked if she could bring our fur baby a bowl of water. I am 82 and driving south. I called ahead to double check on hours. Was told two was the closing time. Arrived by 1:40 after 20 minutes drive off 95. Man at door was polite but said they had stopped serving at 1:30 and only had take out until 2:00. We asked to see the manager but the man said he wouldn't come to the door. I pushed my way inside and said I would come to see him. He refused to come out of the kitchen. The man at the door said he would say the same thing. We left.
