Don't get me wrong the food here was really good but I always judge a breakfast place by their coffee and the coffee here failed completely. You want your coffee to be able to grab you and give you a big kiss on the lips and say "Good Morning!!!"...not here, it was more like a peak on the cheek. Other than the coffee not being very good the food and service was pretty good. read more

I have been to this location twice now and I have sat at the bar where Jared has been quick to either take my order or at least acknowledge me and others promptly. This guy is a do everything guy and great at it. I had these delicious Blueberry lime curd pancakes. Their pancakes are just the best. The atmosphere is a nice vibe with 80's soft rock playing in the background . I have also had their omelets at the beach location. Thank you Jared for being such a hard worker. read more

While visiting my friend a few weeks ago, we treated ourselves to a nice little breakfast one morning at Another Broken Egg and it was wonderful! Our server was super friendly and the food was incredible. I was so happy with the lemon blueberry & goat cheese pancake. Seriously, it is incredible to know how well those flavors go together. Sweet and savory at the same time. The scrambled egg was fluffy and with the added cheese, it was a perfect way to start the day. My friend's meal was also incredible, it was a croissant Benedict and had so many wonderful flavors to enjoy and the side of potatoes was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Everything was just delicious and I can see why this is such a popular spot in the neighborhood! read more

Some friends that were staying with us with wanted to meet up with another friend that lives in Jax so we chose Another Broken Egg to meet up at, on Sunday at 10am. Geez. We didn't get enough sleep the night before so we were dragging ourselves to get over there in time. Luckily the one friend got there first and reserved a table for us near the bar for 6. They were so busy this morning and we had several servers over the course of a few hours as we were told that they weren't busy enough and sent some home. Been there, done that. As soon as they get sent home it gets busy...EVERY.TIME. I got coffee which was always good and for my entree I got the Monterey Power Bowl (Egg white omelets with chicken, onions, green chilies and tomatoes. Topped with guajillo sauce, Jack cheese and avocado. Side of sour cream. Served with an English muffin and fresh seasonal fruit). It was good but I struggled to finish it, probably because I was still tired and my meds. It's probably better to go closer to closing time when there isn't as many people. read more

Had a super Mother's Day meal. Even though the wait was painfully long as I suspect this is on of their busiest days on the year, they handled it well with lots of smiles. The Green Goddess egg special was very good as well as pancakes and waffles. Our wait staffer, Christin, was super sweet besides having to hustle between tables. read more

We had a great breakfast at Another Broken Egg Cafe on Atlantic Blvd while waiting on our car service. I ordered the chorizo and bacon omelette with a side of bourbon street pancakes. The omelette was meaty and cheesy from the first bite to the last and the cream cheese inside really took it to another level. My wife had the southwest scrambler. It was good but not quite as memorable. She ended up using the tortillas to make breakfast tacos and said next time she would absolutely order my omelette instead. What really made the visit stand out was our server Bailey. She was friendly knowledgeable and genuinely attentive. Every recommendation she made was spot on and our coffee cups were never empty. She had the perfect sense of timing and presence always there when we needed something without interrupting our conversation or the relaxed vibe. I was especially impressed watching her handle a more challenging guest with real patience and care. The manager was also making rounds welcoming guests and checking in which added to the overall positive experience. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely ask to sit in Bailey's section next time. read more

The food was alright. The presentation was mediocre and there was no lemon flavor and hardly any blueberries. The hostess had a bad day..and was cussing so loud in the front. She must have dropped the F-word 6times infront of us and my kid. I probably won't go back... there are other places that have better food and pleasant atmosphere. read more

This is my second time eating at this location. It was worse than the first time which was bad. My friend wanted to go there so I went along with her. She had the scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy and grits. She liked hers. I had the chicken salad sandwich with fruit. The sandwich had been put in a pan with a lot of butter on the outside and grilled like a grilled cheese sandwich with the chicken salad inside. It was horrible and greasy. The chicken salad was big clump of mess. Fruit wasn't very fresh either. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EAT THERE! read more

The location is by Belk and Academy Sports. The host was friendly and welcoming. She told us approximately 10-15 minutes and it was exactly that. We were seated and the waiter started taking our order immediately. The food was hot and delicious. No complaints. The restaurant has a nice friendly environment. I cant believe I live 5 minutes from here and have waited to try! It was excellent and the service was superb. I had shrimp and grits for brunch and they were the best I've ever had in Jax! Had the Eggs Benedict there today. Horrible. The egg yolks were solid not runny. Waitress took them back and got new ones but still very mushy and the hollandaise sauce was not authentic. I don't think the English muffins were toasted. Also, the floor was dirty and disgusting. Looked like they hadn't even swept it in a week. Lots of dirt and visible debris. Will never go back. read more

Have only been here twice however both times were off the chain and through the roof. Ashley the host girl is amazing and have had the same waitress both times a brunette chick she's amazing to as well. The omelettes are bomb and fire although one day might have to get something other then omelettes lol and love the energy, enthusiasm and vibes in there. Born in raised in Jacksonville Beach however prefer this Atlantic Blvd location because find the staff in there more nice & kind with quicker service plus it's a smaller spot which in my opinion is easier, 5 out of 5 for sure read more

I've actually frequented this place and can't believe I've never given it a review?!?! The service is always awesome. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The management comes out to make sure everything is fine. They've been helpful in food/drink suggestions, they have served big parties and small and they make every visit enjoyable. Even when we had children in the mix, they were always so sweet to the kids and never made anyone feel like it was a burden (crazy kids and workout warriors alike). I love trying the seasonal stuff, but the regular items on the menu are just as delectable. City grits - yum! Mimosas - yum! Lemon blueberry pancakes - yum! Bennies, bowls, and omelets - yum! I think I've tried half the menu, if not all, already. Haha (told you I've frequented it.) But, seriously. Food is delicious. Employees are great. Service is speedy and efficient. I ate here for the first time last week (to go order). The staff, especially Seven made me feel welcome. The food was delicious and the environment was a southern home feel. I loved it so much that I went back again this week. Again all of the staff was pleasant especially Jared, Tony and Karen. The food was delicious too. We had brunch today. We both had egg dishes. Terribly overcooked scrambled eggs and weird looking sausage! My wife had the spinach "signature " omelet. It was a scrambled up mess that looked no where near any version of an omelet. I should have sent it back as soon as they brought it out. Could only eat a little bit of it. Haven't been here in a few years & for the price of 2 breakfasts ($55.00!!), we won't be returning. read more

I think I'd only been to Another Broken Egg Cafe once or twice in other states before trying this location. My parents like this place and they love the biscuit beignets. So when mom was in town, I made my way over here to grab breakfast. We ordered an early meal for pickup . We got the chicken and waffles, Mardi Gras omelette, big easy scrambler, and a single bourbon street pancake. The food was solid. So much so that we ordered again a short time later. This time we got the southwest scrambler, more bourbon street pancakes, and a few sides. The pancakes and egg dishes here are pretty good and definitely better than the fried chicken strips that came with the waffle. The customer service is good as well but as everywhere, things can get missed. The last time I went they forgot the salsa and guacamole for the southwest scrambler, which was a little disappointing. I did appreciate that they put everything on the side for to-go orders so the pancakes and waffles didn't get soggy. I'm sure I'll find myself back at Another Broken Egg Cafe at some point in the near future. read more

This place is great the couple times I've went there for some quick brunch ! My only bad experience was when my partner was sitting outside that it took quite a while for us to be attended even though the waitress was walking outside attended other tables and it was our table and another that didn't get attended to for 20-30 mins. As well the waitress messed up my partner's coffee as it did have alcohol when she request no alcohol since she had to go to work that same day. read more

We intentionally chose to come to the atlantic location because the beach location tends to be mediocre every visit. However today we were extremely disappointed with the atlantic location. My entire office ordered breakfast for pick up and was given cold undercooked food. We called to report this to management and was not offered an apology or ANYTHING AT ALL. Not surprising since the servers had an attitude when we picked up the order we had a long wait as if they were cooking the food but seems the long wait was to wait for our food to get ice cold before giving it to us. The food was so disgusting we all threw it out. Eggs still had umbilical cords in them, hollandaise sauce had a mayo texture and the peppers were raw! Again we tried to call to rectify and was given nothing but a "yes ma'am thanks for letting us know". Stay away from pick up, surely no one would be treated this way in a dine in setting. read more

The atmosphere at this establishment did not meet the expectations set by its online presentation. The food quality also fell short of what is depicted in promotional photos. Additionally, I have consistently encountered unprofessional behavior from several staff members; on multiple visits, both I and other customers experienced dismissive attitudes and unnecessary nitpicking during check-in. Even takeout orders have been problematic, often taking an excessive amount of time and being prepared incorrectly on more than one occasion. He even brought over complimentary beignets, which was such a nice touch! He must know I'm a yelper . My daughter ordered the Eggs Benedict, I had the waffle, and my husband went with the traditional breakfast. Everything was fresh and delicious -- no complaints on the food at all. Absolutely horrible service. My husband and I were told it would be a 20 minute wait. We waited for over an hour only to be told that the kitchen was behind 30 minutes. Can't imagine the type of customer service we would have gotten if we actually waited and ate here. Whoever owns this place really needs to train their staff in how to run a restaurant. Prizes are MVP Coupons, Travel Cups, Huddle House Merchandise and Huddle House Coffee. Currently, they issue you a Bingo Card and small round plastic disks to mark the numbers when called. Beforehand, I went to Walmart and bought a package of 5 Clear Dry Erase Pockets and another package of Expo Dry Erase Markers. I put their card inside one of the pockets and marked the numbers with the dry erase marker. Easy to read and verify a Bingo. When each game was done, I erased the marks with a napkin. Ready to play again. This accomplishes the same purpose of marking numbers but eliminated the cumbersome and error prone plastic markers. Their game format is to play 4 separate games of Straight Bingo using the same card. Things may change with time but for now, the price and food is definitely right! See you there!

The food was excellent -- we had a yummy breakfast and everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The service was really good too; friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home.
