The worst experience I've had at another broken egg yet. Coffee cup left empty for over ten minutes and water cup for over twenty. Unacceptable considering that walk arounds and pitchers were within arms reach. Food took over 30 minutes to come out and was cold when it finally did. I had to ask our server and manager just to finally get my combo. Not to mention the cold waffle that I did send back was made incorrectly both times. Don't advertise something you can't execute. Didn't anticipate any needs, no butter or straws were brought to the table or asked if we needed. Our server even asked if we were ready to order and when we said yes, he walked away and said he needed to help with a Togo order even though we were there first. Also why ask if you can't actually properly assist your questions. So unprofessional.... Will never be back. read more

We arrive at 1:05 and while we are aware that they close at 2, we were told that it would be a 45min-1 hour wait as he reiterated that they closed at 2, but would try to serve us. I have been a regular here for a couple of years now. The service from Rollie at the bar is what sets this apart from all others. The food is always good. The music is fantastic and "age appropriate" for us early risers! I tried the downtown location which is actually much closer to me, but the service and atmosphere was lacking. The perfect spot for weekend breakfast. I would recommend you get here early as it gets busy QUICK! My favorite thing about this place is the different coffees they have available and the biscuit beignets- such a delicious and southern twist on a low country classic. I have been here a few times and can vouch for the Hey Lucy omelet, the Bergen waffle, and the skinny omelet. All were delicious and any modifications I asked for were accommodated. Where do I start! Great place has great food. We were visiting for 8 days and we ate here four times. I have a dairy allergy and they were happy to accommodate me no matter how busy they were. Manager dropped the food off to me and made sure to reassure me it was dairy free. Amazing we got to know the staff in a short four visits and loved them all. Charlotte Ave. location doesn't serve the great sweet creme with its beignets, like other other locations do, which is a major bummer. We came here on a Saturday morning at 8:30 am and walked right in without a wait. I ordered the crab cake benedict and it was delicious! it was the perfect size so no waste. it came with fresh country potatoes which were good also. My husband got the chicken and waffles and it was good (fairly standard-but good). Overall, very very good choice. The service was quick. Oh, and go early. Do not eat at the bar if you want good service. Don't know his name but he's an older guy, bald with glasses. This morning, I ordered a Blackberry Vanilla mimosa and Chicken & Waffles.. I literally watched him serve drinks to guests that were seated 20min after i ordered. Once I mentioned that I didn't receive my drink, he became extremely rude. Made my drink but basically slammed it on the counter. He brought me silverware & a straw and tossed it at me on the counter as well. Once I received everything I ordered, I watched him check on other guests while literally just walking pass me & did not check on my experience. I always eat here but this DISGUSTED me and it SCREAMED racism! How are you mad at me bc you did not service properly? Left a $1 tip bc clearly he did not care, so why should I? But it definitely was not even worth the $1 tip. read more

Ate here on a Monday morning and had to wait 10 minutes or so to be seated (group of 5). Just steps from the Ryman, Printers Row, etc. Everything we ate was fantastic--veggie omelet, crab cakes & fried green tomatoes, French toast, and pancakes. Was really looking forward to eating here since I have tried a few locations and have loved them. We used the waitlist app, which worked nicely and we were even seated early. Our server was very nice, but disappeared after the meals were delivered and we saw him mixing drinks at the bar. I order the Salmon avocado toast and my aunt ordered the pumpkin waffle meal. My toast looked like skinny pieces of old frozen bread, the salmon looked a little gray and the avocado was brown and very thinly spread on the bread. I doubt there was 1 Tbsp of smashed avocado total for both pieces of bread. I ordered a poached egg that looked like it had been in the water for maybe 20 seconds. I don't know how the yolk even stayed together and the white was watery/snotty. My aunt's waffle was underdone and her eggs were cold. Really a let down since I was so looking forward to this being so close to my apartment...and I won't be going back. read more

Horrible service. On a Friday at 10am. Excuse after excuse was made every time our waitress came to the table. We were super understanding until the end of our meal. It took her 15 minutes for her to come get our bill . After we had paid she offer to bring us coffee to-go. We waited 10 minutes before we finally saw her again and she was picking up tips from her previous AND unclean table. Thank goodness their food was decent. But there are better restaurants in Nashville with much better service. We won't be back. read more

My family and I started coming to Another Broken Egg in Florida and once we discovered there was one here in Nashville we were so excited. The food is amazing and never disappoints. We have been to this location twice and both times our server has been Bianca - who does an amazing job. Definitely recommend trying ABE for breakfast or brunch! read more
