I've visited other First Watch locations. This one is actually the closest one to me, but I hadn't made a stop here yet. I'm happy to report that this was as good an experience as the other locations. The servers were attentive and quick to respond to our requests. The food is always delicious, and the rowing seasonal menus make it ideal to visit at least once a season to try the new menu out. Aside from seasons dishes, there are also seasonal drinks. First Watch used to be my favorite place but it's definitely lacked flavor at some locations and this is one of them. The Brussels hash only had 4 pieces of Brussels sprouts, it was mostly potato and bacon and cheese. Not a lot of goat cheese on the plate either but very generous with the crispy chilli oil, wasn't spicy at all though. Overall, it's a place I'll return to because they have decent dishes but this wasn't one of them. Came in on Saturday and beat the rush, so it was pleasant and clean. Visiting Nashville and this is my second time at First Watch and the food is very good. I love the healthy options (and the not so healthy ones). I opted for healthy and ordered the A.M superfoods bowl which was excellent . My friend had the Ricotta Pancakes, also very good but large. The service was swift and attentive and we really like the location in the Hermitage area. We were not about to go back into downtown or the Gulch a 3rd time with those exorbitant parking fees. This First Watch is excellent. We had a couple of issues (sometimes, shtuff happens),but our server was right on top of it and they were resolved quickly. Nicki was an amazing server! They have excellent customer service here. The food was amazing. The Million Dollar Bacon is a must have and so are the Million Dollar potatoes. The service... impeccable! Soon as I pulled in I got a parking spot right in front. As I walked in the front desk lady was super sweet & sat me down right away. At first she put me at a table I told her I wanted a booth she proceeded to escort me to one with no problem. I didn't wait 5 mins & my waiter was right there ready to take my order. He was super nice, attentive and informative because I did ask a few questions about certain entry options. I went with the chickichanga with breakfast potatoes plus fruit. I came here when fall started because I was so excited to see this place had a seasonal menu! I didn't realize they were a chain, though. Chains are always disappointing. Inside reminds me of a cozier Panera, but in reverse, where you order at your table and then pay up front at the end. My server was lovely and fast, and ready to answer any questions. Worst brunch we've had in Nashville. We really wanted to love it because it's so close to our house, but... Ambiance: Terrible. Incredibly loud and overstimulating. Service: Nice, but slow. We waited so long for food and had to ask for water. Food: Also terrible. Everything was overcooked or undercooked or both. Also as someone who can't have dairy, I had the fun realization halfway through eating my "seasoned potatoes" that they had cheese. There are many better brunch spots in the area.
