This place never disappointments for a good breakfast/brunch meal. The Banana Foster pancakes are to die for. The Lobster and Brie Omelette is delicious as well. Considering this is a very causal breakfast/brunch restaurant, their cocktails are really good--better than I expected. I highly recommend the sangria! The only downside, is u might have to wait a few min for a table, as they are usually always at capacity, even if u add you name to the waitlist ahead of time. My husband and I both tried the 3 pancake plate, I got chocolate chip mint, bananas foster and coffee pancakes with a side of country potatoes and bacon... DELICIOUS! The bacon was thick and perfectly cooked, the potatoes were not greasy at all and the pancakes were great. We started with the biscuit beignets, they were also delicious. Highly recommend this place! Worst dining experience. First two tables one of 4 people and another of 2 was seated after us and both received their food after us. When I spoke to the manager David he was dismissive of my issue. He stated all the tickets came in at the same time. Also if this is the case why did we get our food it was cold. I will not be visiting this location again. Make sure you let them know if it's your first time visiting- it was our first time so they brought us an order of biscuit beignets, which were fabulous! The menu is full of great looking options. I had trouble choosing. We ultimately had the lobster Benedict with a side of roasted potatoes and the avocado toast with smoked salmon (which also included a sliced hard boiled egg). I'm going to keep this review short and simple. Came here for breakfast, restaurant was new, nice, and clean. As soon as we walked in, the hostess greeted us opening the door for us and we got sat at a large table. Waitress came and got our coffee orders. When we were ready to order our food she was very helpful! Coffee tasted great and I ordered the turkey power bowl but there was an over powering of a weird chemical taste to the greens. I should've asked for more of the sauce that it came with but didn't bother. I did see other food on the menu I might be interested in next time so I will be back to check it out more. Another broken egg is in a modern looking strip mall. There are tables outside with umbrellas but it was too cool and misting so we sat inside. We were sat quickly. Most of the tables were occupied but the bar area was wide open. There was a QR code on the table for the menu but a paper menu was placed on the table for beverages. Our server came to the table in a reasonable amount of time. We ordered beverages first, earl grey tea, a hot chocolate with Bailey's and two waters. Once we received our beverages, we placed our order. We ordered the key west pancakes, scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, city grits (topped with cheese, green onions and bacon) and the Mardi Gras omelette. The food looked really good and I was definitely ready to dig in. I took my first bite and it tasted good but it was room temperature, not hot. We were short on time so I just ate it but definitely would have enjoyed it more had it been hot. By the time we were leaving at 9:45 am, there was a waitlist. I would return to again when in the area and not pressed for time. There are two gender neutral restrooms for one customer at a time. Another Broken Egg is one of my favorite places to come to in Nashville for breakfast/brunch! I've never had a bad experience here and I love bringing friends here. On Saturdays and Sundays, expect an extremely long wait. I highly recommend putting your name on the waitlist well before you plan to arrive. My wait on Sunday morning was 45 minutes but luckily I got in line via Yelp and only had to wait an extra 10 minutes when we arrived to the restaurant. Service is always amazing here. My most recent waiter was Alex and he was great! He recommended that we leave the boring orange juice mimosas behind to try the blueberry lemonade flavored ones and THEY WERE SO BOMB. Definitely try the more exciting flavors because they do not disappoint. The food here is sooooo dang good and they have so many options. If you're feeling healthy, they have several options for you.
