My first time here during my travel to South Florida. We had a birthday brunch for my hubby's birthday! First let me tell you, this is a popular spot in Pembroke Pines. Second thought - parking can be ridiculous. Third, the staff here are very courteous. We didn't realize the amount of time it would take to get from Weston to Pembroke Pines. Although Google Maps said 30 minutes, it ended up taking 50 minutes. Lots of people were on the road on a Saturday morning. However, once we arrived, we were seated almost immediately, even with the restaurant being crowded. There were also people eating brunch outdoors. Our host and waiter was very helpful, and we got our meals within 20 minutes. We had a reservation for a boat tour in Miami - which was an hour away, and we needed to leave within 15 minutes of getting our food. I asked the waiter if he could bring the check and we would pay ahead, and that was absolutely no problem. This was so helpful, and by the way, we did make the boat tour, in fact, we were first in line. Back to the food at Another Broken Egg Cafe - DELICIOUS! Yes, I was in a rush, and really wanted to savor every bite, but the strawberry pound cake french toast was absolutely delicious. It was very sweet, but the fresh strawberries balanced everything out for me. However, if that's not your cup of tea, you should pass on it. LOL! I was annoyed that one of my husband's toast was burnt, but it seemed as though they gave extra slices. I just felt they should have removed the burnt slice. Anywhoo, he had a Mardi Gras omelette with crawfish, shrimp and andouille sausage. He throughly enjoyed it. read more

Amazing food and amazing service, these guys leaving bad reviews is only a 1% of everything that goes on here and I've been coming here for a while, 99% of the time the team is going above and beyond and I appreciate them for that. Of course everyone knows things can get a little busy around here, for how popular the place is I understand! Rush hour is typically 10-12 so be sure to get there at a reasonable time, and don't be surprised if there's already people waiting it happens! The servers are amazing and are incredibly attentive to us each times I've come, the food never seems to fail and our server matteo was incredible. His overall vibe and attitude to help us and get us whatever we needed was just the cherry on top of this already good morning. Give that boy a raise cause he deserves it! read more

Pricilla was the absolute best! She was attentive and so kind and patient with my mother. The food as always was perfection, I had the lobster and brie omelet and mom had the Huevos Rancheros (which Pricilla had the kitchen do a light fry on the tortillas so my mom could chew them). I came here for brunch with my parents and brother. I typically dine at their location in Atlanta, so I'm familiar with their food and service. I started off with a Bloody Mary , while everyone else opted for water with lemon on the side. My Bloody Merry was delicious! Everyone was pretty hungry so we went ahead and ordered. My brother had the Lobster & Brie Omelette, which he loved. My mom opted to have a side of potatoes and eat from everyone else's plate. My dad had the Supreme Omelette and I had the Monterey Power Omelette. My omelette was ok, I'm not sure if it was the guajillo sauce , but it was slightly watery and not as hot as I would've liked it. The reason I gave this location 3 out 5 stars is because my mom discovered hair in her food while eating some of my dad's Supreme Omelette. The manager was very kind and came over right away and apologized. They remade another omelette for my dad and removed it from the bill. Other than the mystery hair and the temperature of my food, the atmosphere was very chill. We joked about the hair, because that's what we do but we probably won't be back anytime soon. read more

We decided to give Another Broken Egg Cafe a try after hearing great things, but our experience left us feeling... well, a little scrambled . We ordered two shrimp and grits , chicken and waffles , and a gumbo , totaling $20+tax per dish (and that's without delivery fees). Here's the scoop: Chicken and Waffles: Solid effort! The chicken and waffles earned a for taste. Definitely the highlight of the meal--no complaints here. Shrimp and Grits: It was okay ‍ but could've been better--mainly if it wasn't served in that recycled-looking container with paper inside. Seriously, grits and shrimp sitting on top of paper? Why, though? We don't want to eat the packaging along with our food . Maybe consider an upgrade here for your to-go orders? Gumbo: Oh, the gumbo. For $20, we were expecting something more substantial . The container was better than the shrimp and grits' eco-disaster, but the portion? Tiny. Barely filled. We had to wonder--are y'all charging by the ingredient in this gumbo? A little celery here, a shrimp there, and voilà--$20! It was disappointing, especially for our first experience. That said, the delivery was right on time , so kudos to the driver . Overall, it wasn't the egg-cellent experience we'd hoped for. Some tweaks could make a world of difference for to-go orders--especially at this price point . Until then, we're not in a hurry to shell out more for another round. Wish for a better first time experience. read more

We arrived at the restaurant and were told there was a wai (althougb we did online waitlist). According to the host, several parties were ahead of us, and the estimated wait time was 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, I checked in and was told there was just one group ahead of us. However, four groups were seated before us, and we were still waiting. I politely asked what was going on, and they finally seated us. Our server was friendly and attentive. The cinnamon roll French toast was excellent--rich, flavorful, and highly recommended. Unfortunately, the chicken and waffles were disappointing. The syrup was a confusing mix of spicy, sweet, and honey flavors that didn't blend well. The coffee also had grounds in it, which made it unpleasant to drink. read more

I'm so happy I found this place on my vacation. They had a wide variety of options on the menu. My classic eggs Benedict favorite breakfast was of course on the menu. The waitress was friendly. The venue is nice with adequate seating. They had a holiday special peppermint, chocolate waffle, which was amazing. They had a kids menu that had nice options with a free milk included. read more

A few months ago a friend invited me to breakfast to celebrate me & my school's success. I ordered the Mardi Gras omelette. OMG it was filled with shrimp and crawfish, soooo good. I'm not a fan of sauces so I got it on the side. Needless to say I've gone back twice since then and ordered the same thing WITH the blueberry margarita! If you like seafood you'll love this omelette. The staff has always been super accommodating and pleasant. There's actually a lil vibe going on at the bar. My last visit was solo so I sat at the bar. I liked seeing and hearing the chemistry between the bartender and a few obvious regulars. Good stuff!! read more

Went here for a late breakfast, unfortunately their fryer wasn't working , so I settled for their bourbon street pancakes that was hot and delicious , it was so much couldn't eat all of it . We had a great waiter who kept my glass of strawberry full . We had a great corner table that allowed us to talk without having to shout , which was awesome. We came around 9 o'clock after waiting approximately 30 minutes we had to bring into the attention of the Hostess that she had approximately 6-8 tables that were empty, and after that, she sat down all the people that was waiting at the entrance. Aprox 10 other people waiting I had the biscuit chicken sandwich that was dry. The biscuit was broken half of how dry it was. My wife had a French toast pound cake that it was only sweet. No flavor at all on my kid hot chocolate chip pancakes with sausage and egg chocolate chip pancakes were OK . The egg was a scoop of dry egg on top of the plate and the sausage link was burned on both sides. I brought that to the attention of the waiter. She spoke to the manager and nothing was done. The place was busy. I filled the tables and the floor sticky even it was not a rush. read more

So happy we finally got to try Another Broken Egg! We had heard great things about it but there is usually a line out the door every weekend. We decided to go for brunch. The wait was about 30 minutes. We were able to get a table outside. The ambience was nice and the server was nice and attentive. This has to be one of the most disappointing breakfasts I've ever had. The eggs had the most bizarre flavor to them I couldn't take more than two bites. The potatoes had no seasoning on them and were extremely bland. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but the place being called "Another Broken Egg Cafe" I assumed eggs were a safe bet. But I guess I was wrong. Defintely will not be returning. The only positive thing about my experience was our waiter was really nice. read more

I was sorely disappointed with this restaurant. I hadn't been back since they first opened. I was in shock at how unsanitary and dirty this restaurant is... it's shameful really. I found myself in Florida again recently and we stumbled on this place..Where do I start?? The place is beautiful! Clean and adorable. The Menu is insane!! ( were guided through it by the server ..but we'll talk about her in a minute ) We went with good old biscuits and Gravy, eggs, and a stack of buttermilk pancakes) OMG! Absolutely delicious Only rivaled by my Mother in law's but she's from Kansas, so you already know lol. Let's talk about the best part of this place..The Staff! We got waited on by Joelle ( who I take as the manager, server, and head bartender..We sat at the bar ) She was AMAZING!! So helpful navigating the enormous menu, giving us recommendations, and overall being so incredibly sweet. What Joelle didn't and couldn't know is that we just came from the cemetery ( the reason we were in Florida from NY) to finalize the paperwork on my Father's funeral for the following day. ( sorry to kill the mood ) My point is simple, the cool decor, delicious food, and fantastic coffee were nice..but the big Smile, friendly attitude, and even the jokes and laughs that Joelle provided to me and my wife were sooo needed at that particular point in time. Thank you Joelle !!!! I still have to travel back a few times and I will NEVER find myself in Pembroke Pines without coming in for a wonderful meal with fantastic people. My wife had heard good things about Another Broken Egg Cafe so when our daughter came for a visit we brought her here so we all could try their fare. They have an extensive menu with a large assortment of breakfast, brunch and lunch offerings. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive without being overly so. The room has a coffee shop vibe with a full bar. They also have outdoor seating in the alleyway next door. I had the Sonoma club sandwich, turkey, bacon, egg and cheese with avocado and tomato on grain bread. It was very tasty. Their coffee is also very good and is served in a goblet style coffee cup. I'd go back to try some of their other offerings. read more

GonzoEats Strikes back with another brunch spot. Host was great very nice and attentive. The place was nice and clean no complaints. Waiter was knowledgeable and had good energy. Now to the good stuff the food and drinks. So I don't remember what it was called but very refreshing you'll see the picture. I had the chocolate chip pancakes oh so good light fluffy and chocolaty more please. I had the southwest scrambler with potatoes this was so good I wanted more. Was in the mood for some yummy breakfast and headed over to Another Broken Egg. I'm happy we did. I placed us on the waitlist thru Yelp, which is the way to go. When we arrived there were quite a few people waiting to be seated. We were seated 5 min after arriving. We decided to sit at the bar. It gives an opportunity to interact with others. We started out with some drinks. I had the Bloody Maria made with Tequila and the bae had Tequila with Apple Juice and Sprite. I the ordered the Shrimp and Grits and he ordered the Bacquezo Omelette which had a cream cheese filling with bacon, chorizo and chives, sausage, cheesy grits and biscuits. We also shared a stack of Bourbon Street Pancakes. Yummy! Everything was delicious. Our waitress was phenomenal. If you eat here and don't mind eating at the bar, make sure that Jojo is there. Lemon Blueberry Goat Cheese Pancakes. Wow! These were fluffing and filling, and the flavor combo was amazing! I ordered to-go, and the food was still fresh once I got home. The pancakes come with your choice of 2 sides. I got eggs and bacon, both cooked perfectly. I took off 1 star because I ordered online and was given a pickup time, but when I arrived at the restaurant, I still had a pretty long wait. They estimated 10 minutes, but it was even longer than that. If you plan to eat there, make a reservation if you can. The place was super busy with lots of people waiting for a table. read more

When we walked in, there wasn't anyone at the hostess stand. 2 different people had to get the hostess. The menus were sticky and gross. We're 2 adults and a toddler seated at a table for 6 people.. it wasn't that busy. Nobody came to greet us, waited 10 mins and we left. I'm never one to write bad reviews but here I am. We had the crab cakes Benedict and the hash browns Benedict. Both were delicious. Crispy hashbrowns and eggs cooked just right with hollandaise sauce on top. We also had the peach tea which was delicious. Service was slow because they were very crowded. The waitress was very nice and overall we had a great time. read more

Delicious breakfast! I've had the Apple fritter french toast and the cinnamon swirl French toast and I must say the the cinnamon swirl is my favorite. The house made sausage is amazing as well. Definitely not a place to watch your calories but you'll surely be satisfied. It's a must try. read more

On our way to the airport and wanted to eat breakfast first. Stopped in because my husband had never eaten here. Ordered the eggs Benedict which is usually amazing , it was just okay. I think our meal was under the heat light waiting a bit too long. It wasn't very hot. The cheesy grits were very good! Hubby ordered the chicken biscuits with gravy and an egg. It was good. The restaurant is always packed, but I'm not sure why. Overall most of the food we ordered was good, but nothing that I would call amazing. They have regular coffee and creamer. but no expresso or specialty coffee's. The server was friendly and helpful in giving some suggestions. You have options of booths or regular seating. I got a bread and gravy dish that I didn't really like, but my husband enjoyed his waffle and omelet. We also liked the grits, but if I come back I wouldn't get the cheesy one. Overall the meal was felt heavy. I probably wouldn't go back, but if you are into the traditional American breakfast without any bells and whistles you will probably like it. read more

I had biscuits and gravy. Nothing special. Very under-seasoned. But nothing salt and hot sauce didn't fix. Only bad thing was my sausage patties were so burnt it was hard to chew on. Service sucked from the beginning. It took awhile for anyone to come to the front to seat us, and then another long while for our server, Pricilla, to show up. I want to say we waited at least 20 minutes from the time we sat until we got our drinks. I absolutely love this place every time i eat here! It's always busy, they close at 2p on weekdays and 3p on weekends so it's always bustling for breakfast and lunch. I went with a girlfriend after a good workout on a Saturday around 1 and luckily we only had to wait 5min to get sat. Our server Pedro was the sweetest and took his time to describe the different cold brews and their texture because we had questions lol. I ended up getting the vanilla cold brew which with the foamy cream on top was so delicious, and my friend got the salted caramel cold brew, the rim was a little too salty but the coffee itself was delicious. To eat, we shared the nova cream cheese bagel and a side 2-pancake stack. Everything was so yummy. They were generous with the nova on the bagel and the pancakes were so fluffy i almost thought there were more than 2 at first! I loved my food pick. It was exactly what I needed. Sweet, fruity, with a side of protein. The cafe was super busy when we got there; they said 5-10min wait but it was more like 20min. I met up with a friend to catch up on life & what I didn't like was that everybody was talking really loud. I was looking for a more "relaxed" place not a pub like eatery. It's been a while since I've eaten so badly! I arrived and the place was empty. Saturday at 9:30am, but there was a line. There were more than 10 empty tables inside and when you arrived they told you that you had to wait about 25 minutes. While I was waiting, I went to the restroom and there I saw that the restaurant had about 30 tables in total, of which 10 were empty. When I asked the hostess why they made me wait 25 minutes with two guys when the restaurant was empty, they suddenly found me a table and let me in. They had enough waitresses, hostesses, runners, managers, they had people working, they were not short of staff so as not to seat people. When the waitress came over, she took our order and served us. The dishes were a disgrace. My son ordered a chocolate pancake (it had chocolate on the outside, not the inside, it was the size for a 3 year old) with egg and sausage and an extra order of sausage. The egg came in an inedible egg ball, and the order of sausage on the side never arrived. And the sausage they gave him was burnt. Then we ordered a biscuit sandwich, the biscuit was completely hard. It came with potatoes that they never brought, we had to complain about it and they brought it when we finished the meal. My dish was a French toast, supposedly it was a French toast cake and it was neither cake nor bread! It came with egg and bacon, the bacon was again all burnt and hard. When we told the waitress, she didn't give it any importance, the manager never came over and we even had to ask him to discount the order of sausage that he charged us for and never brought us. The service, the food, the attention, the prices seem not to be expensive but the portions are small and on top of that they burn the food. They should make people wait so that the complaints of the previous ones are not heard. read more

I tried it last weekend and it told me 30 minutes. When I arrived 20 minutes later to check in, they told me 2 hours. I heard them telling other customers the same. Someone asked what the point of the waitlist was and they said it wasn't accurate.

I recently returned to Another Broken Egg Cafe, and one thing immediately struck me: this place is still thriving. In an industry where restaurants seem to open and close every day, it says a lot about the quality of both the food and the overall experience that this breakfast staple is still doing so well. One thing I appreciate is that they regularly offer seasonal menu items, which keeps the menu fresh and gives returning customers something new to try. On this visit, I ordered the White Chocolate Raspberry Pancakes along with their Maple Chicken Sausage. The pancakes were deliciously indulgent without being overwhelming, and the sausage had a great balance of sweet and savory flavors. Breakfast meat lovers have plenty of choices here, including bacon, pork sausage links, and sausage patties. Another Broken Egg is known for its New Orleans and Southern-inspired take on breakfast and brunch, and the menu reflects that heritage. You can start your meal with an order of warm beignets, or dive into Southern favorites like Shrimp & Grits or Chicken & Waffles. I also ordered a side of grits, and they were every bit as good as I remembered--easily some of the best grits I've had in South Florida, and I never even liked grits! This is the place that converted me. Looking around the dining room, it was clear that the restaurant is generous with portions. Nearly every plate that came out looked substantial and well prepared. She substituted the bacon for chicken maple sausage and the scrambled eggs for egg whites. She enjoyed her meal immensely, especially the chicken maple sausage. I opted for the Chicken and Waffles. The waffles were perfectly nice and fluffy, exactly how I like them. The chicken, however, was a bit of a letdown. During my visit, it became abundantly clear that the staff is unorganized and the operational software is constantly plagued with problems. I have been meaning to leave this review for a while now. This place is absolutely amazing and there is nothing like it in Pembroke Pines area! Trust me, I am a hard person to impress when it comes to breakfast ( I feel like I can recreate most classic breakfast dishes at home ), however, this place is one of a kind. The breakfast dishes served at this lovely establishment are not the ones a one person can recreate at home, therefore, having breakfast there is a true treat. My hubby and I have two little kids, so going out for breakfast during the week is our thing since the kiddos are at school. Breakfast is our date night. Summer was our server. Summer, if you are reading this, you are AWESOME )) you are helpful, informative and always know what your customer needs. I've always wanted to try this place since the line is always out the door. We were able to put our name on the reservation list thanks to Yelp! We had to wait maybe 5 mins for a table from the time we checked in. Ordered the passion fruit sangria and a strawberry lemonade sparkler which were supposed to have alcohol in it but tasted like straight juice . Very sweet and disappointing ! For our entrees we ordered off their seasonal menu. Everything came to the table cold . First off The flan stuffed French toast had a nasty burnt taste to the cream . The Carribbean skillet was greasy and gave me a stomach ache by the end of the meal. My kids grilled cheese was horrible . How could you mess up grilled cheese ???? The waiter disappeared by the end of the meal leaving us waiting 10 minutes until we could flag down Another waitress . Website brags of this establishment being "pet Friendly" then they deny service to a friend because of her service dog which is CLEARLY wearing a service dog harness. She was told to sit outside in the patio area (where evidently that's where they are pet Friendly) when she advised them it was too hot (96°) they told her she could leave. #1 this is a direct violation of disabled rights with a service animal. Establishments need to educate staff on the LAWS AND RIGHTS OF THE DISABLED before denying them service. Not only is it against the law but it's just bad business. Now they have a whole crowd of folks that refuse to spend their money here as well as a possible law suit. Shame on you Broken Egg. SHAME ON YOU! read more

Man what can I say !!! Tremendous breakfast spot in Pembroke Pines ! I was wow from the minute we were greeted at the door by an associate of the restaurant. To the service given throughout our time in the restaurant and last but not least the food was amazing !!! The cinnamon roll French toast was to die for !! To top it off we received complimentary Beignets for it being our first time visiting.... and I must say the Beignets were close to the ones I've had in New Orleans. Overall a must visit if your in the area and looking for some breakfast nourishment. Family friendly and great food. We were seated quickly and got a spacious booth, which was nice. Our server was new and made a couple of small mistakes, but that wasn't a big deal. The bigger concern was that the beverages had a strange, soapy taste, and even the potatoes had the same issue, which raises questions about food safety -- maybe things aren't being rinsed properly or there's some cross-contamination in the kitchen. Had a perfect family brunch here! I used the wait app so we were seated really fast once we arrived. Although we also came later in the afternoon. Zamary was our server and she knows her stuff (thank you Zamary for the kindness and great service)! I never had cream cheese or crab on my eggs before but I'm glad I tried it- The Floridian was delish! The potatoes were a little over cooked but I was so full, I couldn't finish anyway. They are the worst. No matter how good their food is, not worth waiting 2 hours to get a table. What's worst is that even if you join the waitlist, when you get there you still have to wait 30-45 minutes EVEN if you are first in line. The people they have working at the front are the rudest and unorganized bunch of people. They stand around with iPads but can't figure out the proper order of seating people. This place is unique in that if you don't reserve a table be prepared to wait a while. On another note the food is always good and the portions are big and I have tried many dishes there since I live close by. It's a little more on the pricey side but you do get the extra you pay for. The staff are really nice and the place isn't very big. They've got a great range of options for all types of eaters. The food here was good, I have come here multiple times to Another Broken Egg Cafe for brunch and breakfast. Mimosas and coffee are always pretty solid. I like getting the beignets and eggs benedict and it reminds me of some home cookin' cafes back in Georgia. We arrived as walk-ins and were advised the wait would be 30-45 min. After an hour we checked and were told we had 3 people ahead of us. After another 15 min I checked the app and we were 14th on the line. I understand the convenience of placing yourself in line but at that rate we weren't going to eat by the time it closed. I paid for the appetizer and drinks, left a tip anyway, and walked out. This was a 1 out of 10 experience at best. Management here needs a serious lesson in expo and guest relations.
