I love that they have options that you don't see at a typical American breakfast place. I got the lemon blueberry goat cheese pancake. Please order it, it's delicious. Coffee was great. My boyfriend ordered the cinnamon bun French toast, that was great. I had a chicken Monterey Jack cheese omelet with green chillies and avocado. Everything was fresh. The flavors went well together. I love their three pepper sauce. A little bit of sweet and spicy. It's a little pricey for just breakfast but totally worth it and huge portions ! The pics look amazing. Reviews are mostly good. But guys, let's get serious. This is a chain restaurant. To sum it up quickly...it's like a Denny's or IHOP...perhaps with a bit more creative menu...but all the same, except this place is probably a little more expensive than a Denny's or IHOP and the food wasn't great...at all. I had the "Hey Lucy! omelette" and I could barely get through more than a few bites. Seemed like they just overcooked a bunch of random things in the kitchen and topped it with an insane amount of cheese. The chorizo in the omelette looked like ground beef...gross! English muffin was a bit stale. And grits were ok...a little too runny for my taste but edible. Asked for a pancake side...I swear I could taste the powder you mix pancakes with. Also had a cappuccino. That was decent. Staff is friendly and was seated right away (went on a Sunday morning around 8:30am). Overall...go to Denny's or IHOP. Won't be coming back here. I finally got to eat at this place! Every time I would try to go for breakfast, it's extremely packed. Now I see why though. I had an amazing huevos rancheros with seasoned potatoes and crispy tortilla. I would just order the eggs well done next time, had a bad taste in my mouth trying a runny yolk for the first time.. haha never again. Latte tasted great, wasn't bitter at all. A different sort of breakfast restaurant it really does bring in the brunch crowd of people and was a cute if small place. Met some friends here and I decided to go full breakfast meal with buttermilk pancakes, homestyle potatoes(which are tasty), eggs, and a homemade sausage. While the sausage may not be for everyone depending on your tastes the rest of the food was great. I also tried a bite of my friends chicken and waffles and the chicken was good too so I know that's another good option. Feel free to try this place out because it's pretty hopping! read more

Finally got to try this place out yesterday for breakfast! After going twice and being told wait time was two hours, I was able to be seated right away yesterday after leaving jury duty. I was impressed by the cute homey decor. I decided to order the cinnamon roll French toast and boy was it good! Comes three toasts served with whipped cream and strawberries on top. Very fresh and not too sweet. Also ordered the beignets and the server allowed us to order a tester plate with 4 instead of the usual 10, free of charge! I thought that was very nice the beignets were delicious!! Definitely will order again next time. Also, our server was very attentive & nice. Definitely recommend and will for sure be comimg back. It's not a big restaurant and stays crowded so be prepared for lengthy waits if you don't have the no wait app. Shrimp and grits are the best and so are the lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes. I had such high hopes. My partner had eaten a benny there earlier in the week and enjoyed it except complained there wasn't enough Hollandaise sauce on the dish. He really wanted me to try the place with him We got on the wait list as we were pulling out of the driveway which was just perfect timing. When we checked in at the desk, we were told we were next. Shortly after, a constant parade of people produced a wait of 1 hour and 15 minutes. WOW! If you go, make sure you get on the waitlist electronically. (See the top of this page for that) The staff was pleasant and tried to accommodate those waiting with seats in the bar area or outside. Outside was out of the question for most as the temperature was steadily climbing. We were finally seated after about a 15 minute wait. My partner chose the lobster and Brie omelette while I liked the sound of the Southern Benedict. The picture on the table display looked really great and I chose the fried green tomato vs. a ripe tomato slice and the potatoes over grits. When the dish arrived, the first thing I sampled was the huge but poorly cut biscuit. Not bad if you add a sauce or butter and jelly but on its own it was quite dry. Someone unfortunately sliced the biscuit on the diagonal so there was no hope of anything staying on it except the shreds of sliced ham. The poached egg and fried green tomato had already slid off both parts of the biscuit so a big fat zero for presentation. The eggs were poached in a rather comical ball shape so I'm not sure what they're using for that. The supposedly tomato infused Hollandaise sauce was okay but I couldn't discern any tomato in it. It also was white rather than a rich yellow so there was no egg yolk added. I don't think it should be called Hollandaise but merely sauce. Also there was only about 1 tablespoon of sauce per egg so again, points off for that. The potatoes on the side were nicely crispy and as a plus NOT seasoned at all but other than that, meh! they were just fried potatoes. The biggest blow to the meal however, was the ham. It was so bad, I pulled it all off my dish and set it aside. 1. Too salty 2. Too thinly sliced 3. Over cooked and tough It was just the wrong form of ham for the dish. This looked to be the kind that is sliced for sandwiches then thrown on the grill, fried, then slightly shredded before plating it on the biscuit. It was like a really too salty slice of crispy bacon rather than ham. I think with some tweaks this dish could be great. My partner's lobster and Brie omelette turned out to be a folded mass of scrambled egg with chunks of lobster tail and Brie on the top. Tasty but not exactly an omelette. He did however say the 'city' grits were highly recommended. I gave it 3 stars because I wouldn't count it out and we plan to go back and try different dishes to see if this was just a bad day in the kitchen or just too industrialized to be good food. read more

Absolutely amazing! First time here and I had such a great experience. To start off, the feature on Yelp for this restaurant to virtually wait in line saved us so much time and we were seated almost immediately. (Also the hostess wished us a happy anniversary which was very nice!) Our server was Alex W and he made the experience over the top for us. He was always very nice and attentive. He gave great recommendations as it was our first time here. We even got free biscuits which were delicious! From the food to the hospitality, everything went perfect and I'll be sure to recommend this place to everyone and come back more often! I really meant to take a picture but when the food arrived it looked so good that I forgot. We stopped in here for on a whim for breakfast after passing by this location several times. Mom wasn't very hungry so we split a mardi-gras omlette with country potatoes. Our sever was really attentive to our needs being gluten-free and was happy to replace the side of bread with a couple of the cutest little gluten-free pancakes. This was my first time having seafood in an omlette and I wasn't disappointed, the food was not overly greasy, the shrimp and crawfish in the omlette were both fresh and sweet, everything was just so good. We're visiting from CA and you know the first thing I do is check Yelp for a nice restaurant and I found Another Broken egg. They have a cool feature where we can join the waitlist online so we did that and proceeded to the joint. When we first got in a had to take the LO to the restroom there are only 2 bathrooms in the entire place, I didn't like that too much it it was really clean, and they had a changing table. Once we returned from the bathroom B had already been seated and was looking over the menu. They had a wide range of breakfast classics, but I wanted to try something new. I asked our waitress what was her favorite and she said shrimp and grits, I wasn't interested. I asked her how was the New Orleans scramble and she said it was dry and recommended the Madi Gras omelet which pretty much had the same ingredients minus the potatoes, which I didn't need anyway. The omelet came with grits and I upgraded for 2 dollars and added a pancake with strawberries on top. I also had a Carmel latte that was super tasty. I'll def visit here again read more

My husband and I went in for brunch. The wait was short, however I do have to note it was a weekday (Friday around noon). Great first impression. My husband got the classic toast with sausage patties and eggs. I went for the crawfish skillet that comes with andouille sausage and country potatoes. I also ordered a side of salmon. (I saw it on a salad photo and got a craving for it, odd request I know). My husband loved the French toast, and he's a big French toast critic. He wasn't a fan of the sausage patties (he said they tasted like burger patties), I guess if you're in the mood for breakfast sausage. It might be a little off for you. However I have to say they looked great, two small round juicy handmade patties. I loved my plate, I had never tried crawfish (figures it tasted like crab or shrimp), and certainly never had seafood mixed into my eggs and potatoes. It was exactly what I had been craving. It was a nice mix of a what tasted like shrimp with scrambled eggs and perfectly cooked morning potatoes. The side of salmon, was perfectly cooked, blackened and crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. My mouth waters reminiscing it's perfection. Now for the MIMOSAS! Must try! The purée they use in their mimosa is my FAVORITE! I realized what they used when I asked our server if she could tell me what purée they use for their mimosas. It's the best tasting purée for drinks out there. Their mimosas come out delicious! Highly recommend the strawberry! Nice and fizzy, not to sweet, and you can definitely feel the bubbly! I found this place on yelp & it was such a gem! For starters, they use the NoWait app which is a plus. Our server, Cassandra was absolutely amazing! She was such a sweetheart and was so knowledgeable about each dish. We felt like we were talking to a friend who invited us into her home for brunch. I can't even remember the last time I had such great service. Also, the food was delicious! We received complimentary biscuit beignets. I usually hate beignets, but these were good. I ordered the steak & eggs, & 2 Brunch 'n More Bellinis. Perfection! The only thing that could have made this place any better, is if they offered turkey bacon. Adding this to the list of favorite brunch places! Lots of options: veggie, meaty, something to satisfy your sweet tooth. The ambiance is excellent and very welcoming. I was extremely impressed with the service. My friend and I only eat halal/kosher meat and the item we order which we thought only had seafood (no pork) ended up having pork and was cooked in bacon fat (so be aware). Unfortunately, most of the items are cooked with bacon fat but I am sure you can request otherwise if that's not your preference. The meals that contain pork I believe cannot have the pork removed which is potentially a drawback. But our waitress and other staff persons readily took care of this issue and were patient when my friend and me were being indecisive in what we wanted to order.
