The food was great per usual, but when you have customer service that should also be a signature item offered. How do you decide? I will ask for Keshia (amazing server 5 stars) and also a glass of fresh squeezed apple juice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great high energy environment in a desirable part of West Chester.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Loved the pancakes! They were a great size, and the rum sauce on them was fantastic as well. The service was fine also. Our waiter was friendly and attentive to us. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The overall environment was nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was a great experience!

At first I thought this place was going to be like another first watch. Boy was I wrong!! The food is good! I really wish one would open in Lexington!! I love Cajun style food so I was excited to see many Cajun flavors on the menu! For your visit you can get some biscuit beignets for free!! They are so good! Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and all the food. Our food was hot and delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The whole place was clean too, bathrooms were clean too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This place will be on my radar when visiting again!

We stopped here for lunch on a Wednesday and the place was about 1/2 full. We had one of their lunch duos ($11.79) and a Sunrise omelet ($18.48). An iced tea was $4.29. The duo choice was 1/2 portion chicken and waffle and a cup of Gumbo. The gumbo had a surprising amount of shrimp and was tasty but a little greasy. the chicken was two breaded chicken tenders on 1/2 Belgium waffle and both were good. A side of warm honey was provided for dipping. The omelet was big and very tasty. It looked like it had at least 3 eggs. It came with an English muffin and a fruit cup. I thought the prices were on the high side ($36.81 with tax) but not outrageous and the portion size on both orders was more than we could eat. Our waitress Celia was prompt and courteous. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere and menu choices are similar to First Watch with an emphasis on Brunch cuisine.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But unlike First Watch they have a full bar and offer a variety of alcoholic beverages. Free parking in the shopping center lot.

I ate breakfast here on Sunday 8/31. The hostess at the stand did not greet me as I approached instead she said how many is in your party, what's your phone number? Nothing about how long the wait was going to take, just wanted my phone number to add me to the waitlist. It was a horrible first impression. Almost left and go to IHOP but I decided to wait. The weight was about 10 minutes. Got to our seat and ordered our drinks and they brought us plastic cups with our beverage, saying they were out of glasses. If I wanted to drink out of a plastic glass, I could've gone to McDonald's. We had the shrimp and grits and the traditional breakfast. The shrimp and grits it comes in a large bowl. They brought my friend a teaspoon to use as our eating utensil. They must've been out of soup Spoons as well. Poor first experience and my last.

Tucked into restaurant row at VOA we stopped in to Another Broken Egg for Saturday brunch. There was a minimal wait for a table, however I would suggest you go online to enter their waitlist just in case. After we were seated there was a considerable wait to be greeted for our drink orders, despite the crew chatting nearby our table. I eventually asked the hostess if someone was assigned to our table - we were greeted shortly after. The place is hopping and a bit loud but still relaxed. The food both looked great and tasted excellent. The quality of the food made up for the less than great service. I would keep this on your breakfast rotation when eating out.

This is a nice brunch place that has a southern-inspired taste. The menu has all the classics like eggs and pancakes, but you'll also find more unique options like omelets with lobster and crawfish or pound cake French toast. The food is good and reliable but nothing especially outstanding. I would recommend getting a few different sweet/savory dishes to share to get a taste of everything, especially a side of Biscuit Beignets. I got the Hashbrown Benedict with a side of home fries. Overall it just lacked a bit in seasoning and flavor. The food does come out quickly, but the service from our waitress lacked. She was very slow to take our order or help with anything else. Many of the servers actually seemed to be standing around chatting. It was a bit loud inside too from the high ceilings. So try for a patio seat or go at a slower time if possible.

We just moved a couple miles away from this restaurant and I was looking forward to trying it. Sadly, our experience today was so blah that we won't be coming back, espescially with so many other options in the area. We were here a bit after noon and it wasn't that busy. Service was friendly but not efficient. I ordered beignets and potatoes with cheese on them as I was going to have some of my husbands eggs and sausage. He said the coffee is really good, but was frustrated he had to wait a while between refills. He got eggs, biscuit, grits and chicken sausage. All the food came at once and it varied in temperatures. His dish was lukewarm, the potatoes were too hot to touch and the beignets were warm. all of his food was good and solid option, just not that good due to the temperature. the potatoes that were still way too hot a few minutes later were awful. they had obviously been microwaved or way over cooked somehow and they were hard and greasy at the same time. potatoes anywhere are often a favorite.... I would never recommend these. The beignets were not good. they were warm upon arrival and fairly soft. after leaving them for a bit and coming back several minutes later and they were hard. like hard to break apart. Like a biscuit that had been microwaved and not eaten right away. again, I don't know if they use or even have microwaves but that is what it was like. I didn't even bother taking leftovers home as they were so hard and not good.... I am just so very disappointed. I had built this place up in my head for some reason.

Absolutely horrible I ordered via Ubereats and it was nothing like described, I ordered the crab cake Benedict , what I got is in the picture , that was not a hollandaise it was gravy with pieces of sliced hot dogs , no tomatoes no chives , nothing like described , that is extremely ghetto to pass off diced hot dogs in a gravy as hollandaise over crab cakes Horrible !

Sunday 1130 am. The online call ahead time estimate is very accurate. Once seated it took 22 minutes before our waitress arrived. Daughter had the chicken biscuit. She says 3 stars. Daughter 2 had black stone Bénédicte, 3 stars. Wife had sunny rise scramble, 4 stars. I had the loaded omelette. I say 3 stars. Our food was very good , just not great or different. Waitress was ok , she forgot a few things.

This use to be a great place, but the last couple times I visited it has gone down hill. Rude servers and cold food. Now this is what i have come to expect from Another Broken Egg. Busy, 20 minute wait for a table when we arrived-we sat at the bar so no wait. People were lined up outside by the time we left. My grandson and I both ordered biscuits and gravy. Now biscuits and gravy include two eggs and potatoes, and two sausages. Momma Mia that's a lot of food and so good. I failed to get the lady's name who served us, great service from the expectant Mom (August is her target date). If I have a complaint, maybe advice for the customer, it needed more gravy. The biscuits were smothered but I like the gravy on my potatoes too-so maybe just me. read more

I was happy to finally try this restaurant after the one in Hyde Park closed. I got the chickens and waffles but it was hard to decide because they had so many great options! Staff was very kind and the vibes inside are great. Outside seating is available and plenty of parking! Definitely recommend! read more

The floor was dirty with crumbs and receipts to be seen. We waited 1.5 hours to be seated and the service was extremely slow. I know they are short-staffed, so this was understandable and to be expected. But once we were seated, our order did not come out for a long time and our food took even longer. The food also did not come out correctly. I would suggest limiting the seating even more. I also saw the manager, not helping a busboy clean a table even though she was standing right beside the table. She was walking around with an iPad vs. helping bus tables. Let's me know she does not roll up her sleeves to get involved but simply gives orders. read more

Just went here for the first time and it will probably be the last time. The environment was terrible. The lights were pointing in every direction and in your eyes causing us to look down the whole time. The air conditioning was blasting so hard that paper was blowing off of our table constantly. It was also freezing cold. It was like 75 degrees outside, but like 65 degrees inside. It was so loud I could hardly hear my wife across the table. All this was before the extremely long wait for the food. Waited about 45 minutes for an omelette for me and some grits and sausage for my wife. The food was nothing special, in fact it was incredibly bland. I got a chorizo omelette and I had to salt and season a bunch just to not taste bland and rubbery. My wife said the sausage was seasoned very weird and had a sweet and bland taste. They had two kinds of coffee and both were weak and gas station level coffee. Not at all impressed for $40 for such a lackluster experience. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

I am a pretty frugal man and would rather hit up McDonald's once in a while but these pancakes brought me to a new level of heaven and I was just completely blown away by how fantastic they were :-) coffee was pretty good too but our server and these pancakes in the atmosphere was pretty special read more

The grits are so delicious honestly I would come here for those alone. When it's busy, it can get a bit loud which is to be expected, but I enjoyed the food regardless. The servers are very friendly and it didn't take long for us to get seated during a Saturday brunch. read more

I went to another broken egg cafe with my partner and his family, waited 35 minutes which wasn't a problem. It was pretty busy, but we got our stuff fairly quick. I got the spiked pumpkin spice cold brew, and it didnt come with everything it said it would. Both my partner and his sister got exactly what they ordered and was satisfied. But his mom and I both got egg dishes and were unhappy. I got the hash brown Benedict and the eggs were not runny, I asked them to change it to what his mom got which was the huevos rancheros. She said hers was sour and the potatoes she got were covered with salt. I got my huevos and the cheese was still hard and cold on top and it was black bean soup which made the tortilla chips soggy. I gave up and decided we will not be coming back. read more

BEYOND AMAZING!!! The wait is so worth it!! If you plan on going wake up before they open and get yourself on the waitlist! The food is impeccable! The service is also top tier!! I'll let my photos speak for themselves! The loaded city grits are always amazing, who am I kidding everything is amazing! My mom and I shared a lemon and blueberry mimosa pitcher, we didn't intend to get drunk but it crept up on us and we accidentally got shmammered at 8 in the morning so the drinks are also a winner here!! Always a great experience here! I love using the waitlist to get seated easily, the staff is very friendly, and we feel very comfortable eating here during covid. My husband always orders their omelets or scramblers and he's loved every single one he's tried. One of his favorites is the Floridian omelet. I usually get a seasonal pancake with bacon and eggs, and it's perfection every time! One of my seasonal favorites is the citrus honey fig pancake. I also loved their gingerbread waffle which is available in the winter time. There's something about the batter they use that makes their pancakes and waffles delectable. Their pancakes in particular are so soft and fluffy, I love it. Will be back again soon. read more

Second and last time we try this place. Last time the wait was over an hour and we were told that there were call-offs to blame. This time I checked Yelp and saw it was only 11 to 20 minute wait. We live 10 minutes away, so I didn't bother getting on the list. We get there and there is nobody waiting in li e and I can see a dozen empty clean tables. We are told there is a 45 minute wait. No explanation, just have a nice day! I'll drive north to Dayton before I go back to this location. read more

Coffee is good with decorative mug. The noise level is a little loud. I got my coffe, but they may have forgotten me. I need a refill. We made it in before the end of lunch rush. The difference between blueberry pancakes and pancakes with blueberries is that the blueberries are on the outside here. The omelette is acceptable not bad but not outstanding the city greens are interesting and well above average. The crabcake eggs Benedict real crab and well above average is good. Instead of turkey sausage lowfat sausage, they have chicken sausage. It tastes good. We are trying this as an alternative to The Original Pancake Factory. It doesn't quite measure up. My neighbor & I got on the waitlist before we left home but still had about a 20 minute wait upon arrival. It was COLD outside during the wait so it would be caring & considerate if they let you wait inside. We heard a diner comment as she was leaving that it was almost as cold inside the restaurant as it was outside & we found that to be true...brrr. Once seated, our helpful server took our drink order. My neighbor got coffee (to get warmed up). He ordered biscuit & gravy while I had the California club sandwich. We also got a half order of beignets. They were delightful. His biscuit & gravy came with 2 eggs & 2 sausage patties with a side of country potatoes. He loved it! My club came with ham, turkey, bacon, tomato, cheese, pickled red onions & slathered with guacamole on 9 grain bread. The pickled red onions were a nice touch & made a good sandwich even better. I chose grits as my side & they were delicious. We will probably return in the near future. read more

Went there at 12:30 and they close at 2. Was told "we aren't taking anymore tables." 90 minutes before close and refuse to allow us to get a table put in? Crazy. Either they are SUPER popular or just lazy or a bit of both. read more

We went to another broken egg Café, based on some other reviews and their menu. We were disappointed. We ordered an spinach omelette with no onions, and it came with lots of onions and no spinach. We ordered a sandwich with no sauce, and it came loaded with sauce the, other meals were just average. I don't recommend. read more

Amazing! Just amazing. Had a crab omelette which was both unique and very tasty! A pancake came along with the meal and all in all it was a rather large meal. The coffee was exceptional and the mugs it was served in were so nice we actually bought one. All in all, my wife states this is her new favorite! read more

Unfortunately my first time going here was today and it was a terrible experience. Went in to order at the bar bc that is where you have to order a carry out and the lady i interrupted was chatting up a male patron. in a friendly way i said to her, I tried calling and no answered. she retorted, "guess the phone is off the hook." she was very rude and unfriendly while waiting for my carry out i grabbed one of the waitress to see if i could speak w a manager about the rude lady. the manager, I remember he was ( short hispanic curly hair). He came out and was equally as rude. talking loudly i asked him not to speak loudly that way bc he was embarrassing me and that I am an anxious person with anxiety. He retorted, "i don't care tell me what the problem is!". i told him i did not want to discuss it and he told me in a very loud voice with customers enjoying their morning breakfast, "you can leave this is my restaurant and you are being rude to me. I told him i was sorry if he took it that way and that i just did not feel safe talking about it any longer( I got emotional and began to cry), asking him to please leave my space, he responded, "this is my restaurant and you dont tell me where to go in my restaurant!" He handled it poorly. I will never go back. For all of you reading this, this is a true story. the location is WESTCHESTER, OHIO 45069. I am sure this is a very nice place somewhere other than here and wont allow this to ruin my morning or day. i just dont want anyone out here to run into to that and ruin your morning. read more

Great Breakfast spot in Voice of America area! Grabbed breakfast with my dad here the other day and it's my new favorite spot in West Chester. We booked on the wait list on their website to reserve a table. Once we arrived we checked in and waited an additional 10 minutes, which was not bad at all. Once we were seated and placed our order, it took 50 minutes to have the meal come to the table. Once the meal arrived it was cold. Both meals were cold. At that point we were so frustrated. We just asked for the check so we could go. The waitress said she wanted to talk to the manager and apologized because the kitchen was backed up to see if he would just comp our two copies that we had. The manager came over to apologize, but refused to comp the coffees so we paid and left. We will not be back to this location. Will not return. read more

If this restaurant was managed it wouldn't suck. You have to place your name "in line" online to ever consider getting seated in any reasonable amount of time. They are always short staffed. The last time I had breakfast with my husband and daughter we waited probably 20 minutes to be seated (after checking in online), ordered our food right away, waited an hour for it to finally come out to our table. I ordered the fruit and honey waffle. The waffle came out plain, no fruit, no honey/cherry on the side. The server apologized but at that point what do you do? It would have been nice to have some kind of communication letting me know that they were out of a food item and to order something else. This place is complete chaos. We had a 20-25 minute wait for online check-in, when we got there she said another 30-35 mins., for a party of 4 adults/1child. Another hour later they seated us after we kept checking, once they said "we're putting seating on hold, so that we can catch up". In total almost an hour and a half wait, from the time we put our name on the wait list. Couple in front of us said they had also been waiting over an hour, even after online check-in. Last time we were there, had the same issue, but we thought we'd give it a try again, thinking they were just having a bad day last time, but now it seems to be the norm. The girl checking in is very unpleasant, not the first time we've had her, and she wasn't very nice before, rude and unfriendly. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION IF YOU HAVE CELIAC OR GLUTEN SENSITIVE. I went last year during the holiday season, was extremely clear about my allergy and yet was served regular English muffins on my plate!!! I was sick for several days, throwing up and diarrhea. I initially decide not to complain online and never to eat there again. I made it clear to the waitress and the chef, what they had done to me, the illness I was now going to experience and left but then A friend of mine went a week ago and experienced the same treatment and was sick for several days.
