We have not been to this location in a long time. The food is still excellent. The Tri-Athlete was ordered. A fruit cup , very tasty, came with the meal. I also ordered a kale tonic juice drink. My only complaint is the ice to juice ratio. It may be petty but after pouring the juice into a to go cup, I feel cheated. Wonder if I could have ordered it with some ice. Holy cow this was fantastic. My wife and I were down in Cincinnati and we're definitely looking for a place that had good breakfast and we have been to a first wash or two before but it never let us down so we figured we'd try it again. First watch is kind of an upscale breakfast place to start with but they had some specials for Christmas and we decided to partake in some. Of course they bring you the big pot of coffee that you can automatically refill yourself. Our server was very sweet and paid lots of attention to us. We started off by splitting the golden cinnamon roll which is of course the cinnamon roll with icing that was gold and had little gold sparkles in it. It was pretty awesome! I got the breakfast tacos which were a combination of soft and hard shells meat Pico guacamole very Hardy very fulfilling. Also came with a side of fruit that had something sprinkled on it I have no idea what it wasnt cheese it was not sugart was something delicious and I forgot to ask what it was. My wife got her standard waffle with fruit compote and a side of bacon and having just got back from Europe it's very annoying to have to flag down a server give them your credit card wait 7 minutes for them to come back in this case here they just dropped the receipt and pay and off you go. My wife and I eat here once a week the food is really good But today 2/25/26 our service sucked! Barbara was our server we got a table at 9:30 am order was taken we didn"t get our order untill 10:44am we were told our order was lost. we reordered taken by Dave who apologized and said order would be a couple of minutes we were willing to wait we had to wait at least another 15 minutes asked again about our order Barbara said it would be a couple more minutes which was about 10 minutes finally got our food mine was not that hot . It was my first time visiting First Watch, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. Me and my team arrived as soon as they opened at 7am. The waitress was very nice and seemed to be super excited to be at work (bless her heart....). I ordered an orange juice & the Turkey Skinny - it consisted of an egg white omelet, turkey sausage, cheese, spinach, & onions. Putting yourself on the waitlist shouldn't set you back further once you get there. Set a time, & within 5-10 min., seat your guests. Had to wait another 45 min. What a gem in Ohio! Our family who lives in Ohio brought us here on our last day. The moment I walked in, I knew our breakfast was going to taste really good. The aroma from the kitchen just lingered a delicious perfume. The restaurant does a good job of distancing the tables inside and outside the restaurant. After browsing the menu with many different options, I decided to go with the chickichanga which reminded me of a wet breakfast burrito. The tortillas was wrapped in a egg jacket and envelopes a mix of chicke breast and chorizo. The flavors were outstanding. The meal also came up with a side of fruit and potatoes. I love that the fruit was a good mix of grapes, pineapple, and water melon. No cantaloupe or honey dew...thank goodness! Finally, the potatoes. They were absolutely the best potatoes I ever had. Like the other First Watch locations in the city, this one is good and we enjoy it. It's super convenient because it's not to far from our house. I also love how they have the waitlist option here on Yelp. The day we went that came in handy. When we arrived there were quite a few people waiting but we were seated immediately because I had put us on the waitlist before we arrived. It's an awesome feature on Yelp that works. The staff was nice. However, our waiter wasn't that good. Our food took 30-45 min and she came over maybe once if that within that time. Once the food arrived she came again maybe once and that was it. I definitely only gave her a 10% tip instead of 20% because she wasn't attentive at all. I ordered the Avocado Toast and the Million Dollar Bacon. My husband ordered the Ricotta Pancakes. I really enjoy their Avocado Toast and Candied Bacon. It's the perfect combination, especially when you add the basted eggs that come with the toast. It's so good! My husband always orders the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. My husband & I visited this location for the first time Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were seated immediately & our very nice server took our order right away. My Morning Meditation juice was brought out quickly & it was oh so good! My husband ordered the orange juice & it was fresh squeezed & delicious. The service was a bit slow with the food coming out after about 20-25 minutes. My husband ordered a side of grits, side of sausage & a side of potatoes. His grits were cold & it was credited on our bill. I ordered the ham & Gruyere sandwich but the server brought me the ham & Gruyere omelet. I said I would eat it but the server insisted on bringing me the sandwich & boxed up the omelet for me to take home...very kind of her! I know it may sound weird, but when I have a negative experience at a public place, I always go back again. I want to give the establishment a chance to "redeem themselves" so to speak. I've been visiting this Liberty location for the past year or so with no issues until recently, I don't know if maybe the cooks and manager have changed, but the food and service is not even a 4 out of 10 the last three times I have gone. On the first bad visit, I ordered the Millionaire's Bacon, which I get ALL the time. The more horizontal picture attached shows the black bacon they brought out to me the first round, I expressed my discontent with the waitress and she agreed it was "dark", so she took it back and got more. The more vertical picture of the 'less black bacon' is the second round, I again expressed my dissatisfaction, she said; "That is how it SHOULD look because it is cooked and then recooked with the glaze so it is hard to not get it to burn."....Me; "Um, no ma'am it is not how it SHOULD look, I order this dish all the time, not only here but other First Watch locations as well and I have never had a plate brought to me where I could not even distinguish what type of meat it was by looking at it!" Sure, it took the shape of bacon, but my goodness how could one really know at first glance! Granted they have their own name and recipe for this dish but it's simply candied bacon, you should still see some red, some white marbling of the fat etc. in candied bacon, it should look like bacon, not tar! I ended up just letting it go and not eating the black bacon. The next time my family and I went they were busy as always and had about a 30 minute wait. The host didn't seem to keep order of those who were coming in and waiting in line, so he ended up seating a few families before others of the same size who were there first, some customers ended up leaving because of this. We stayed. Once we were seated and placed our order, that was the last we saw of our waitress until she brought the food and check. No refills, no checking in on us...we were ghosted. We ordered pancakes, the pancakes brought out were room temp and hard. The picture attached is about 10mins after the plate was brought...the butter had not even melted. This is how I know for a fact it was not made to order, it had been sitting for a while and they just dolloped some butter on top and served! The third final visit was a mess due to the customer service, I didn't even get to ordering the food. I sat for almost 20 minutes and hadn't had a server come to my table, so I left. I will not be back to this location again anytime soon. read more

I was visiting the area and my cousin took me here for breakfast. I had been wanting to try I out and I was very impressed. We were say immediately which I was told never happens. It is a very busy location and we basically beat the church crowd on a Sunday. "Lines that wrap around the building." I was impressed with the menu selection and I really loved my choice of the Tri athlete. I wish I had tried the pancakes but I was trying to be good. but I did have a side of bacon. and most breakfast places would do like 2 pieces and I got 4! Awesome! I go here a lot. Sometimes, it's embarrassing how often I go here. And, I always wind up getting the same thing. So here's a quick review of what I have had there. I always order The Tri-Fecta. Scrambled eggs, bacon, one multigrain pancake with butter and syrup. Large orange juice. - Orange Juice - cold freshly squeezed orange juice. Awesome. - Scrambled eggs - usually very good. But, quite often they're inconsistent. I have had them runny, overcooked, dry and runny on one side and overcooked on the other. They are good but, I wish they were a little more consistent. - Bacon - good quality bacon but it's usually cooked pretty dry. It's crispy and dry. If you like it like that, it's perfect for you. - Pork Sausage - very generous sized sausage links. It's a mild sausage. It doesn't have that spicy zip that most breakfast sausages have. I'd recommend it. - Multi-Grain Pancake - incredible! This is what keeps me coming back. I like my pancakes simple. Butter and syrup. They warm the bottle of syrup before they bring it out to you which is an added bonus. And, it's good quality syrup. Another bonus. Their multigrain pancake batter is made from scratch every day. When you bite into it there's almost a subtle grittiness to it. That's the only way to explain it. There's a texture to it that is very appealing, at least to me. Light, fluffy and the flavor is amazing. They're not just floppy thin little sponges for syrup. These are killer quality cakes! If you like pancakes, you are going to love these! And one is plenty if you're having a breakfast meat and eggs along with it. Would I go back? Absolutely. I go to this place far too often. I only wish it wasn't so close to me now. read more

I previously gave them 4-5 stars a while back. My last trips there have yielded the worst eggs imaginable, with Sunday's visit was the absolute worst. Ordered biscuit and turkey gravy which was fine (came with two eggs). First tried Poached since previous visits yielded very undercooked eggs; they came out in a bowl with water in it and eggs were barely cooked and solid on the outside. They immediately removed them when server realized what they were. Then asked for over medium. When medium eggs came out both times a level above raw/ snotty. The waiter and waitress were as horrified as I was. When asked if a manager could be contacted, out waitress said that a senior guy was at the restaurant today cooking but nobody would listen to her and she felt "powerless". I shared my experience with the woman I paid. She said she made a comment. Whomever was cooking eggs on Sunday feb 2nd at around 9am need to be demoted to "toast". I never do this, but this review should serve as a warning not to order any type of fried or poached eggs at the liberty location until they train their cooks Other dishes are fine and service is generally very attentive and nice (including this time). Each plate was picture perfect that was brought out for my family. I had the Chorizo Omelette, my son had the Short Rib Benedict special, my wife had the Chicken Salad as well as a Carrot Cake pancake for all of us to share. Everything was delicious! Coming from LA, I'm a big brunch snob. First Watch didn't disappoint. My parents took me there while I was visiting for Thanksgiving. Our server, Trevor, was great. Plenty of food choices to choose from on the menu. Food was served within reasonable time. I tried the Chilled Pear Cider juice and it was delicious! Would definitely order it again. It was a mix of pear, apple, ginger, lemon and cinnamon. It was a great holiday drink. As far as the appetizers, I had the French Toast which was shared by everyone. They liked it. Nothing too crazy about it but it was still delicious. My favorite part was probably the main dish: The Omelette Works. It was basically an omelette with mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, cheese, ham, bacon, and sausage and topped with sour cream (sounds a lot, yeah) but I finished it. It was a decent size. I opted for their housemade Pico de Gallo instead of the sour cream which was a great decision! All in all my family loved their food as well. Went on Friday Dec19th Seated right away, order taken within 5 minutes, Got our drinks quickly, but waited at least 20 minutes for our food. So, The toast was cold, as were the eggs, the bacon wasn't crisp, so another ten minutes for that. As leaving, my wife realized, she didn't get the potatoes, which she loves, but too late, didn't want to fuss then. The waitress was nice and I don't blame her for any of this. I was thrilled to see that A First Watch was right near my house. I love the healthy food concept and the decor is well, kinda barn-like. I loved it! They did a beautiful job decorating and I loved the actual doors hanging from the ceiling!! So cool! The refurbished tables and the water jugs in old milk bottle replicas only adds to the charm. The greeter was great, the service was spot on. The only thing I would change about my visit was the food. I got the half-and-half sandwich and salad. The ham and Gruyere cheese was very good, size wise the sandwich more like 3/4, so that was nice. But when I bit into it there was a funny consistency that I didn't recognize and I didn't like, it was the warm tomato slice on the bottom. Once I removed the tomato, I enjoyed the consistency of the sandwich. There was a hint of brown mustard I probably would've preferred to have on the side. I think being able to apply as much as I wanted or as little as I want would've been preferable. When I go again, I will get no tomato and mustard on the side I'll probably get yellow mustard not brown that's just my preference. Next I got the sweet pecan mixed green salad. There was a very nice selection of greens, which I love. It came with a honey mustard dressing, again the overall dish I ordered contain too much mustard that almost ruined my taste for the food. I would probably order a different Salad dressing next time but I liked other ingredients in the salad. If I had to pick on something else and I can do that because I'm writing a review, I would put the salad in a bowl so it can be cut with a knife into chewable pieces while the presentation on the plate was beautiful, it was not practical. If you wanted to cut the salad at all it would fall onto the table. I should've asked for a different plate for the salad, but I didn't.
