Finally made it here! Seen great things on Instagram. Their food is as amazing as it looks! We got several items--some of their specials and some of their regular items. Everything we had was awesome, from the lattes to the cheesecake. For entrees we tried the vodka chicken parm sandwich, their special pulled pork grilled cheese, and the chicken and waffles but had them switch the buttermilk waffle for the cornbread waffle. The cornbread waffle fell apart easily, but was very good! Blueberry cheesecake was phenomenal. We also tried the peanut butter latte and banana pudding latte. Both had great presentation but I preferred the banana pudding one, the caramelized bananas on top were also well done. All the sides with the meals were great and seasoned just right. I recently stopped in here for cheesecake and a cake slice to go and the place was booming with business! Always a great sign to not only see the community supporting the small businesses, but to even see the owner there. I heard him introduce himself to a table behind me and I was impressed because he was doing all the things the other workers were doing. He was taking orders, running food and just overall making sure things were being handled. There was another young man in front of me for counter orders and yes he and I both had to wait, but I was happy too. Everyone was moving and trying to take care of their guests and I was not in a rush. Now for the actual things I ordered: the lemon blueberry cheesecake delicious, and I enjoyed the German Chocolate Cake. I ordered both by the slice and I paid about $10 for each. Parking is either street parking or in the garage across the street. I recommend using the parking garage as it is less stressful. On the weekends I recommend making a reservation as it becomes rather chaotic and they have limited seating. First off my boyfriend made a reservation for 12:30pm. We stood for maybe 10 minutes in the entrance as there is no hostess stand and they appear to be greatly understaffed. Once we were seated it was about another 15 minutes before anyone came to the table to tell us specials and drinks as the menu situation is scan and it goes directly to their brunch specials. A party of four came down and sat next to us maybe 10 minutes after ordered and received their food before us which was extremely frustrating. My boyfriend ordered the short rib steak skillet and was disappointed as the meat tasted as if it was just boiled and missing basic seasoning. Otherwise it would've been great. I ordered the Apple fritter French toast, which the apple fritters were definitely soaking a bit too long in the egg as they were on the mushy side, it would've been perfect if it was a bit crunchier perhaps toast or broil for a finished crunch. The owner Anthony took our orders and it was very chaotic and lots of long wait times that could've been organized better. The location has a great review but my experience did not reflect that. Maybe it was a bad day as it was a weekend but a well know brunch spot could definitely do better. Unfortunately I don't think it would be work the drive to give it another try. read more

A friend suggested that I try this place. I've read many great reviews and heard awesome things about this restaurant. So, I decided to give it a try. The decor is simple, yet inviting. I opted for the chicken and waffles, something I've never tried. I was pleasantly surprised. Anthony personally took the time to explain how the boneless chicken breast is prepared and the seasoning was definitely on point! My friend had the blueberry pancakes and he even brought over some lemon curd for her to try. I've known about Anthony's for years but for some reason I never had the opportunity to check it out. I'm so glad i did this past thursday. First of all Anthony is very friendly and laidback. He's very sociable and makes you feel right at home. The servers were nice as well. They have these cool menus that allow you to open your phone and the link to the website opens up which is very different from the QR code or paper menu most restaurants have. For my meal, I had the classic cheeseburger and it was delicious. They make it with short rib and brisket and it comes with 2 patties. It took a while before we got them but to be honest it worth the wait. It was amazing. The fries were okay, nothing special. The cheesecake was the star of my meal. I thought the caramel might be overwhelming when i saw it but it was perfect. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a small space so if you plan on having a large group, it would be best to book that in advance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The drinks are simple coffee,teas and lemonade but it is byob. I've only ever been to Anthony's for cheesecake and I can confidently say it's the best I've ever had. Every time I pop by I wish I stopped for a full meal because the food always looks so good! I will one of these days! I've tried multiple cheesecake slices and the plain New York style is my absolute favorite. It's the creamiest, tastiest and freshest slice of dessert ever. So ridiculously delicious. I recently tried the chocolate mousse cheesecake and that was delicious as well. The mouse is thick and decadent with a layer of chocolate on the outside. What a treat. Therefore I cut it before placing back in taco. It was still delicious, just my preference to have a bit more bite size when in a taco. It also came with a side of rice and beans. The chicken empanadas were flavorful, and the chimichurri sauce was the star of the show. The sweet potato hash with chopped peppers, over easy eggs and chicken sausage was another dish full of flavor. I do wish the bacon in the hash would have been crispy as most of the dish just seemed too soft for my liking. The banana Nutella, French toast, I mean, honestly you can't ever go wrong with this combo, now you may think you don't need the syrup however don't forget it's French toast you need syrup! I had brunch here once before with my friend and it was so delicious, unfortunately my phone was broken and I was not able to see pictures so I came back to try the desserts. I tried a classic slice, which I felt was necessary in order to properly judge the quality and taste. Then I tried something I had never encountered. A slice of rice pudding cheesecake. I have a very small rice pudding business, so this was something I absolutely had to try. It was rich, creamy, quite delicious and had a nice graham cracker crust. I actually preferred this one. Food: easily one of the most consistently great foods I have ever had. We went around 1030am we sat at one of the tables outside and they brought out an extra umbrella for more shade. We did wait a while for our food to come out and get our dessert order taken. When I tell you run, don't walk. This place is a hidden gem. Everything from variety, friendly service and amazing food. We order the croissant sandwich, and that spinach was so delicious, nothing like it anywhere. The breakfast burrito with short rib was finger licking good. And of course, had to try a cheesecake, so we went with the banana pudding topped cheesecake. OMG! this cheesecake deserves a Michelin star, so good it made us take another slice home plus a slice of tres leches cake, that very smartly they add more milk after u order, so the cake stays fluffy and not too soggy. Went here for date night, and the only downside was finding parking. The food was amazing, large servings so we had a second meal or snack for later! My boyfriend loves their cheesecake brownie.
