    12" w basil and garlic....
    Anthony Y.

I ordered a 12" Create Your Own Pizza with basil, garlic, and a double cut, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The crust was perfectly baked--crispy on the outside and soft on the inside--and cutting it into smaller slices made it easy to share and enjoy. The fresh basil added a nice aromatic touch, while the garlic gave it a delicious, savory punch without being overpowering. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients, and the balance of flavors was spot on. For $16.79, it felt worth every penny. A simple combo done right--fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I'd definitely order it again! Sign up with your Birthday for a FREE pie!

We had my coworker Jason's retirement party at Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza in Carle Place and it was honestly such a great experience. I was super busy leading up to it, but my mom worked directly with the manager, Tommy, who was incredibly helpful and accommodating -- he even gave her his personal cell number so she could text him with any questions. That alone made everything so much easier. The day of the party, they had multiple tables set up for our group of 30+ people. Our waitress was an absolute rockstar -- she handled separate drink tabs with no issues, kept everything moving, and somehow made sure no one was waiting too long. The food was delicious, and she kept checking in with me throughout the night to see if we needed more food or anything else. Tommy was there the whole time and made a point to check in with us, which really made us feel taken care of. We ended up staying at the bar until closing, which says a lot about how comfortable and welcome we felt. I'd 100% recommend this location and this team. They truly went above and beyond and helped make the night really special.

This was the least burnt one. Sad

We've had pizza a few times here. Today, it was completely burnt. I ordered pick up, so did not notice until I got home. So disappointing and a waste of $65.

The hot n sexy Pasta Fagioli.

We had the responsibility of keeping the birthday boy Giuseppe out for four hours before his surprise birthday party at his home on Sunday, May 4 . The 90 minute massage still left just over two hours. Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza & Wings on Old Country Rd in Carle Place came to the rescue. It was a wonderful and fun experience. The steady rain was perfect for the hot food and soup cravings. We were greeted by the awesome Jeremy who seated us and got the 411 and lowdown on the day. So we went nuts and ordered 30 wings, then 30 more; pasta Fagiole soup, spinach n artichoke dip, a tuna platter with salad, eggplant rollatini and another tuna sandwich. If you can picture 4 Gavones at this " mini" just passing the time eat fest before the birthday feast and celebration 2 hours later. Everything was great. The roasted Original recipe wings were something else and the sautéed onions just took them to a whole new poultry pinnacle. The artichoke dip was beautiful and not too creamy. The soup had some crunchy crushed bacon sprinkled on top - Wow! The tuna salad with a lemon zesty dressing was outstanding. Jeremy kept our Diet Coke ( balance the calories) glasses refilled. He was very conscientious and aware and was very cool as we were taking our time. A thumbs up around 5:10 pm and he brought out the birthday cheesecake and lighted candle as two other sweet servers and Jeremy sang Happy Birthday. Mission Accomplished with style, class, excellence and bigger bellies in a fun, lively, sports bar themed environment on a Sunday which just made this weekend better and better. Jeremy, you are a Superstar and a very kind soul. You are going places. Anthony's - Grazie for hosting us and pampering us with love and your delicious menu. Giuseppe- I love you my Brother. Happy 60th and many, many more!

Anthony's Coal Fire does a great job with their service and food....their charred pizza pies are delicious and their chicken wings are great....offered in a bunch of different flavors. Ambiance is relaxed and cool with tons of photos....Thanks Anthony's !

We don't come here much but after some prodding from my friend on Pi day, we knew it would be a great idea, not just the $3.00 pie but the whole Anthony's experience. They are conveniently located to me right on Old Country Rd. in a large shopping center with Plenty of parking. Easy in and out of the center too. They were busy (Pi Day) and we did have a short wait and it was totally worth it. You enter a low lit restaurant with lots of music and plenty of electricity among the patrons here. We were taken to our seats and moments later greeted by our FANTASTIC server, Cara. We perused the menu for a few minutes and came up with some wings and a pizza, (not such an original order.) After a very short wait (gain, very busy night,) we had our wing order. I asked Cara not to bring out the pizza until we finished the wings. She smiled and told me that it would not be an issue as the kitch was very busy. Great wings. A little crunch, plenty of sauce and taste. We ordered mild and there was still a nice amount of heat to them. Nice tender chicken. Pizza was out shortly after we finished the wings. Delicious crispy crust pizza with plenty of savory sauce. Toppings were pepperoni and sausage, each on on its' own half. All was good. I am looking forward to a return trip to try some of their other menu items. Anthony's has been around for a long time and everyone seems to walk out satisfied. KUDO's to the team (and especially Cara) at Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza & Wings

EDIT- Negative Stars As per below, sent an email to the Carle Place location. No reply. Three days letter, I sent another email. Received an email from the General Manager, Katherine, stating she will call me. No call or email to date. Abysmal service at best.

We tried Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza in Carle Place, and I'm being fair with four stars. My uncle had raved about the location in Delray Beach, Florida, and we missed coal-fired, brick-oven pizza, so I figured we'd give this one a chance. The food and ambiance were okay, a family-friendly bar experience (a large bar greets guests on the right upon entering), with different sporting events broadcast on six screens around the restaurant. The atmosphere and vibe reminded me a lot of Bertucci's, before that chain closed. Our waiter Jeremy was a nice guy, but he disappeared for a long time in the back after taking our order. We heard there was an issue in the back area of the restaurant, out of view. It took about 27 minutes to receive the food, spaghetti and meatballs and a large pizza, half shrimp scampi and half Mike's hot honey with burrata cheese. The total bill before tip for three people came out to $47.23, not unreasonable. The food was tasty, but the pizza bottom was burned a bit more than I'm accustomed to. You also need an ample amount of time for a sit-down meal here. Ultimately, I would return to give Anthony's another try.

    Toasty garlic knots
    Johnny Y.

Now, I never shy away from burnt pizza before it's a given sometimes. Especially when it's baked in a brick oven. But still.. I didn't think I'd be paying $50+ for char. Simply put it the pizza was a bit over on the crispy side where you do taste the burnt ends. It was more of a cracker at that point. Again, some may like it. But this was definitely over cooked. They also just put cold prosciutto on top? The Garlic knots was also burnt?! Dry on the inside which makes me think it was just old knots that got reheated then sprinkled some garlic crisp over the burnt ends. The wings was over cooked and heavily salted. I felt like the chef had a day off and just left it to an inexperience cook. Reason why I came here was to get better quality pizza then your average Domino's or Pizza Hut. But after this experience. I'd rather have a frozen pizza cooked to perfection at a more affordable cost.

The food here is hearty and basic. One of my husband's favorite places to eat. Never over crowded. Staff is very accommodating. This was my husband's request for Father's Day.

Meatballs - typical meatballs that tastes better with the sauce
    Kien T.

We found this place perfect for a quick bite with our children. The staff were nice and the pizza is thin crust with a good amount of crunch which is what our family prefers. Very casual restaurant.

Sauce, meatball, and my own pasta next day
    Nicole P.

Had company and decided to make things easy, delivery. Ordered 4 large pies, wings (topped with delicious grilled sweet onions), Caesar salad, and a meatball platter (13). Aaaand, fresh ricotta - fluffy like whipped cream. So delicious with fresh ingredients. The meatballs came with so much extra sauce, I just simmered it quickly, over pasta next day... in heaven. It actually thickened up and tastes better today, but maybe I'm just loving the meal extension.

For my order I went with a trio of tacos - al pastor, coconut shrimp (both of these were listed as signature items) and the crispy fish. The Al Pastor was the best of them, but overall the tacos were on the sweet side probably due to the condiments and additions of onions and corn that were pickled. Glad they have hot sauces on the table to bring need heat. I got a side salad with this - I would say this is bit of afterthought lettuce with 3 pieces of cucumber and tomato each there wasn't much to it. I tried the Carne Asada bowl - again a bit on the sweet side, but they give a good amount of food. They use a cheese blend and I think one of them is a parmesan because it tasted a bit out of place. We ordered a piece of tres leches and it had a maple flavor that was unexpected. It took me a second, but I placed that it reminded me of a discontinued Entenmann's cake that I think was maple walnut iced cake. If you remember that and miss it then get this. I enjoyed this non-traditional version. Although not the best Mexican food I would come back here and perhaps try other items on the menu since it seems inventive, but I will keep my expectations in check because the execution doesn't always hit the mark.

Cooked very well, had fantastic flavor, and the bread was great too. The fries were very soft and crispy, and everything was great overall. The garlic bread was delicious, incredibly buttery, all the items in stew were soft but not too soft, and all of them were fantastic. The potatoes, the celery, the carrots, the onion, and the beef were all wonderful. The stew was a bit hot, but there's nothing wrong with that as that's the point of ordering food! The irish bread was delicious. It was soft but also crispy in every bite, it was definitely made fresh that night.
