We've been to Anthony's a few times before and we're quite surprised last night. We sat and waited for our drinks and bread at our table for 15 to 20 minutes and then the waitress brought just the iced tea. The salads and the clam chowder arrived before our drinks. The halibut was dry and hard and the steak was literally raw after asking it to be medium plus. The view out the window was nice but definitely not worth $500. I don't think we will be going back. Such a beautiful restaurant with an amazing view of the Puget Sound! They do usually have a wait, so highly recommend making a reservation if you don't wanna wait 2 hours! We order crab dip that was phenomenal! The clams app was decent could have used a little more flavor! I was looking forward to this place, but the food quality didn't measure up, unfortunately. The location of this place is excellent, and so was the customer service, especially since our family made a last-minute reservation on a holiday, so we were happy to receive a quick seating arrangement. The views and even the inside wood look for when it's too cold outside are date-worthy and impressive, the quality of the food on the other hand... For the price, this place doesn't measure up. Unfortunately, the seafood freshness was questionable, and for like $25-$60+ plate, the food quality is pretty high on the importance meter. The cleanliness of the plates and cups could have been better, and we had to return one of the water cups as it still had lipstick marks on it. This place might be better suited for only grabbing oysters and cocktails and not treating it like a legit dinner spot, as the quality just isn't there. On April 30th (I am so late writing this!) my husband and I took the water taxi over from Alki to go eat at Anthony's for the last of my birthday bonuses. What made all really special was the whole staff team, especially our waitperson Riley! He totally got that we wanted to sit together on the same side so we could both look out to the pier to see the Holland America cruise ship that was out there that day...because it was the one my husband proposed to me on. The recent reviews place for this place are pretty accurate. Really high prices for food that I would describe as "only OK." I tried the halibut and Dungeness crab fettuccine and found both to be lacking. First, the halibut was a bit rubbery and tough. I personally wasn't a fan of the sweet and savory combo with the berry jam and cornbread pudding that felt a bit too dense. As for the fettuccine, I couldn't taste the crab at all. My first visit to Seattle and I had no idea the food was going to be so good. Went Anthony's for an after work dinner. I had the ribeye steak cooked medium well. It was tender and savory. That butter sauce was excellent on the steak. Their seafood tower was good also. I'm not a fan of calamari but their calamari was so good and crispy not chewy at all. Super happy with our dining experience! It's Sunday after Thanksgiving, 7p - so the restaurant was relatively quiet. But everyone we spoke to was customer service forward and so kind! The reason I would not recommend coming to this particular location is the service was horrible and the food was not very good. It lacked flavor and the portion for the price was ridiculous. The server messed up on all of our drinks as we repeated them back to her three times to be sure she got them right and she repeated them back as well to confirm three times. We were not a large party (4ppl) so I am unsure of what the issue was. When I asked her about the seafood fettuccine alfredo she proclaimed the portion was very big and enough for left overs and that it was enough to split if needed. Although we did not want to split it we did get it (3 out of the 4 of us did). All three plates all looked different. Some had fettuccine sauce, mines lacked completely no sauce which was bazar due to seeing others with either a lot or at least a little but mine had none at all. It was not consistent and lacked flavor and all three of us had crab shells in our food which is not what you are looking for when you are at a high end restaurant ready to spend money. The fact that the server told us that we may be the ones who told her the wrong drinks was unprofessional; especially due to her repeating the drinks to confirm three times. Instead of saying excuse my mistake let me make your drink again she said oh you must have told me the wrong thing but I can have them make these drinks for you instead. The whole experience was horrible especially for it to be my first time there. I have been a waitress so I know what type of service people are looking for and they just want to be served with kindness and that was not what we received. My drink was a prickly pear drink but all they gave me was margarita mix and due to the server not being that polite I went to the bar to ask the bartender to make my drink again. I let him know what I got and he said oh I forgot to put the prickly pear in it. That was why it tasted like straight margarita mix and the servers like no the drink was made properly, even the bartender realized it wasn't. It was a bad experience and I for sure wouldn't go back to that location especially not after I spent $100+ on lack of taste , bad service, and incorrectly made drinks. All around it's a no for me and I really don't know if I would ever come back or come to any of their other locations due to this one experience. We were staying at the Seattle Marriott Waterfront across the street and didn't feel like going across the city to another restaurant we found so we walked across the street to Anthony's on a Sunday night. We were seated instantly by a window as it wasn't too busy and we were able to look out over the water down the pier. Our server was very polite and accommodating. We started with the fresh oysters which were pretty great. We asked for some horseradish because we like a little kick. As our entrees we got the wild Alaska kind salmon duet (halibut and salmon) and the wild Alaska king salmon. The salmon was perfect and so was the halibut. I think it was my first time having halibut but I really liked the taste and would love to try more. The cornbread pudding was actually pretty delicious and the seasonable vegetables were just what I needed. Pleasant experience and great food! read more

It was ... OK. Probably the very definition of 3 star label that says OK. They did a good job with the drinks, but we did wait a bit too long for table service (it was slow, so there didn't seem like there was a valid reason for the delay). The drinks were fine, and the lunch menu was pretty decent and thankfully not full price because it just didn't seem all that remarkable. The location is a bit off the rest of the Seattle Waterfront activity, which is good because it doesn't attract some of the same nonsense that can some with being closer. However, it's a bit of a hike and I'm just not quite sure it's worth the walk given the mediocre nature of what we got. In the future, I'll probably make some different choices or potentially try the Homeport location in Edmonds instead since it's closer. Maybe it was just an off-day? Who knows. Wife and I chose this place for our two year anniversary trip to Seattle. Each year we try to make a point to make it up here at least a few times from Portland to explore. Living in the Pacific Northwest we eat a lot of seafood, probably 1-2 times per week. We typically cook at home all but a few nights a month, so we wanted to choose somewhere we felt could make it worth the while. We ordered the oyster sampler, Mahi Mahi, and Anthony's trio along with two cocktails. All items were honestly delicious, and the drinks were on the strong side. The seafood was cooked perfectly all around, and only the green beans could have used a bit more flavor. Service was on point and David did a great job. After dinner we compared the Mahi to a recent trip to Hawaii, and both agreed this was probably better We can add this location to our short list of Seattle locations we will be back to. We visited this beautiful restaurant yesterday evening to celebrate a friend's birthday. Every seat overlooks the water. Parking was easy to find, and there didn't seem to be a wait. The server was kind and courteous. I ordered the crab and corn soup, which was delicious. For my entree, I ordered the vegetable risotto. Our entrees seemed to arrive around the 20-25 minute mark, but we were enjoying each other's company. At home, I'm completely happy with food that's not super boiling hot. It's totally fine. But my dish was barely warm. The vegetables were not cooked. I love raw veggies, but it's hard to eat raw brussel sprouts and butternut squash. The risotto was unfortunately undercooked and gritty as well. Somehow, the dish seemed to be only seasoned with pepper and thyme. I've been a server and bartender for years. I know how much can go wrong in a shift, so I'm not in the habit of sending food back. We have an Anthony's by our home down south watch we love, so I was very surprised by this experience. Items included in bread service were hard and not fresh rolls as I'm used to seeing at other restaurants. The risotto and vegetables were still raw. My bite of risotto was just grainy Arborio rice. The Brussel sprouts and squash were extremely hard. The plain rice accompanying the dishes of my friends was so mushy, basically baby food. My server never once asked us how the food was or how we were doing. If we needed something, we had to flag her down. I notified my server of the inedible items and she gave a curt "sorry", and gave us the dessert menu. We were shocked at the response and just tried to expedite receipt of the bill so we could leave. Super disappointed with a restaurant that prides themself in high quality and service. Be wary of the time you may choose to dine. A parked cruise ship blocked our view the entire time. Additionally, there are not many vegetarian or vegan options for those with dietary restrictions. I was surprised when I ordered a latte that there weren't any milk alternatives available. read more
