Absolutely delicious. We stopped in for oysters and wine - ended up with a dozen oysters, crab cakes, and a Cesar salad. Service was quick, even though they were very busy. The tables were clean and the views of the Sound can't be beat.

You can't beat the views and oysters at Elliott's! Located on the Waterfront, this spot is right in the middle of all the action. It's super accessible if you're nearby doing activities and sight seeing. We dropped in to specifically try out their oysters. We trusted our waiter's recommendation and let her take the reigns in choosing our assortment. Honestly, probably the best damn oysters I've ever had. Everything is locally sourced from WA! Soooo fresh and clean. Simply unbeatable. For drinks, we got a Guavarita to sip on. It's an orange infused tequila with ancho verde, agave, lime, and guava tepache. The most refreshing summer drink!

I think the location, service and food is good! However, and it may be my fault for not calling and asking, but I was under the impression that there would be happy hour oysters when my mom and I went in June and I learned from the hostess that they do not do happy hour in the summer and this starts more in the fall. My mom and I mostly came for the oysters and there were so many options to choose from! I did like the little condiments that came with the oysters, especially the one with jalapeño. I will say that I felt the oysters were a little inconsistent with the taste and size when we ordered the same kind for the next round, but overall were good quality. I think I would like Elliott's better next time I come in for happy hour oysters!

An amazing and delicious experience would be an understatement for this place. From the wait staff to the oyster choices to the cocktails to the menu that is not seafood to the kids menu to the beautiful view of the pier. It all just came together in this restaurant. Both nights the wait staff was excellent with the first one being better than the second night. The cocktails were crafted perfectly and when I didn't like a cocktail, they took it away and gave me another one which to me showed class by the restaurant. My wife doesn't eat seafood, but there was a few excellent choices that she was happy with. My daughter was definitely happy with the buttered pasta and Parmesan cheese. We ended up going 2 nights because the food was that delicious and the choices of fresh oysters on a half shell were amazing. The hostess was very stressed because she had tons of people trying to come in, but she held her composure and did very well both times we came. If you haven't tried this place, you need to do it right now.

    Right on the water!

Wow! This was a an amazing experience! I thought it might be too touristy, but what we found was a really solid, slightly upscale restaurant right on the bay. We started with drinks at the bar and then got a table outside where we had smoked salmon chowder (simply amazing) and an assortment of fresh oysters. The bartender was great. Our waiter was an expert with the oysters (I'm not). Super fun experience. Doing four stars only because the hostesses were kind of snotty and slow when we initially checked in. Otherwise, 5 out of 5!!

We met up with some friends we hadn't seen in a while and enjoyed a wonderful late lunch at Elliott's Oyster House. It was a beautiful day, so we chose to sit outside and take in the scenic views of the bay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We ordered a variety of dishes, including oysters, rockfish, a Caesar salad with salmon, a Crab Louie salad, and clam linguine. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The seafood tasted incredibly fresh, and each dish was prepared perfectly. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful when it came to selecting menu items, which made the dining experience even better. Between the excellent food, attentive service, and stunning waterfront views, this was a memorable meal all around. If you're looking for fresh seafood, great service, and an awesome view of the bay, Elliott's Oyster House is definitely worth checking out.

Nice experience. Good environment. 24 oz red king crab leg and ultimate seafood tower are the best!

Recommended by a friend. On the waterfront seafood restaurant. Had an inside table and had the wonderful Garrett be our server. We sat inside and the bar and restaurant were beautiful. Food was delicious: fried oysters, sourdough bread, salmon ( hubby's)...I had the halibut w caprese salad and a yummy polenta but unfortunately I didn't take adequate pics of the menu so I don't remember exact preparations etc...and it was a new menu so their website did not show the updated menu. But it was so so good!!! Prices were a bit high but I guess that's to be expected for a waterfront restaurant in this area ( very touristy)... will give them a 5 star rating anyway.

Excellent choice for fresh oysters!! And so many to choose from! Service, with no reservation, was top tier! Seated on a Saturday, outside, immediately. Table for 2. Gorgeous view of the water. You can watch the local cruise ships as they sail away. Our waiter was great in helping us choose which oysters to try and which wine paired well. My friend got the Winner's Circle cocktail and loved it. We also had the house salad (no apple), mussels and shrimp. Excellent everything!

Oysters with bubbles!!! You can't go wrong!! Additionally the location! Beautiful bay view! Variety of oysters changes daily, Amazing! Server helped us choosing oysters by sizes. I prefer small to mid size oysters. Today's my favorite was..... SAMISH PEARL from Samish bay, WA Flavorful, creamy, super fresh!!

Elliott's is definitely a restaurant that I will check out again. Located right on the water, we sat inside since there was a possibility of rain but enjoyed the great view and the open windows. The table got oyster to split, which were all fabulous, one of us got clam chowder and the other a seafood pasta. Both were well cooked and generous. The server was kind and checked on us frequently, with waters filled without asking. What a great night!

Was in town for work and decided to take a walk on the pier. Ended up landing here to grab some oysters! They also had great reviews on Yelp which is always helpful. Greetings at the door were kind of awkward can't explain how or why, it just was lol. Since it was just myself, I opted to sit at the bar. Found seating at the oyster bar. Was greeted pretty quickly by Brandon. Service from waitstaff was kind of on the slower side (I had to grab my own menus since some time had passed... not sure if this was supposed to be handed to me at the front or not), it also took a bit to get my order and tab. But once i ordered the food came out pretty quickly (just got oysters, a beer, and chowder). But my waiter was def super friendly! Could've just been an off night. I think the saving grace here for my experience was Brandon! Glad I opted to sit at the oyster bar. This was my first time into Seattle, therefore first time visiting Elliot's. Appreciated the tidbits of knowledge he dropped regarding the oysters - honestly made me appreciate it more! Had him pick 6 different ones since I didn't have any context of the different species of oysters. Chatting with Brandon also felt like catchin up with an old friend. The oysters were delish! Super fresh and my favorite was the shigoku. The amount of oyster choices they had were overwhelming, in a good way! The spicy crab and corn chowder was also bomb, which was also recommended by Brandon as I was originally just going to try the classic/regular one. Id totally come back here again next time in town.

    Omg. To die for

Absolutely INCREDIBLE (fresh fresh fresh) OYSTERS the accompaniments are miraculous and the selection of oysters galactic. If you like nonalcoholic drinks that are creative and not just soda with some sort of crap coloring in it then this is the place to go. We tried every single one on the menu. Service was stellar. Salmon, crab cakes, shrimp, clam chowder (sorry Ivars) and halibut and even the bread service with butter = YUM!!

Ask the Community - Elliott's Oyster House

Went to their website and no longer see Alaskan King Crab Legs on the menu, are they still serving these?

    Seasonal.

I'd like to visit next week, but what is this 20% service charge I'm hearing about?

Be sure when you tip that you calculate off the price of the food or else you end up tipping on the service charge too. Elliot's is not a budget restaurant but it is a very special one with some the the freshest PNW seafood anywhere.

    Is it noisy inside?

The day we went was about average noise it was not to bad!

Do they still serve cedar plank salmon?

I don't see cedar planked on their menu. It doesn't say how it's prepared.

    Where can you park?

There is valet parking available most nights or you can take advantage of the ample parking on the street.

Do they offer an oyster happy hour currently?

They don't do happy hour anymore.

Do they serve cooked or charbroiled oysters?

Do they have their own parking and does it cost?

No. There are several public lots nearby. And limited street parking.

Is there a oyster happy hour?

No. I just went three weeks ago and they had informed me that they discontinued HH a little over two years ago. However the oysters are still amazing at $4 a pop.

Do you have Happy Hour menu?

No! No happy hour during the pandemic

Do you need a covid card or a covid test to eat inside?

Yes, they require proof of vaccination or a negative test result within 72 hours

Is it true that it is mandatory for guests to pay a 20% fee? What is the reason for this fee?

Yes, there is a service charge of 20%. This charge IS NOT a tip, the service charge goes back in full to the company. So instead, you are paying 40% on top of your meal. Deceptive practices here folks and I felt I was put in a bad position since…

Are they currently doing the progressive oyster happy hour?

We were there last week, there wasn't a happy hour. There were very few happy hours in Seattle claiming Covid. Salty's Had a Thursday $1oysters happy hour, but we were there…

    Is there a dress code?

    No, very causal

    Do you have dollar oysters?

No, they do $2 oysters during Happy Hour.

Why is there a mandatory service fee? Is this on top of the tip to the waiter? Is this typical in Seattle restaurants?

It's not really just a Seattle thing. Actually the guy that started all the Shake shack's among many other fine New York restaurants started it along time ago. It's so that not only do the waiters get tips but the money is split between the kitchen…

What do people normally wear here for dinner? Is it okay to be casual or should it be a little more dressy?

    Buss Casual is Seattle formal

Does Elliott's offer a daily fish menu that varies in addition to the standard entree menu?

    Yes, they have daily specials

    When's ha?ppy hour

    3-6pm M-F

    What is the corkage fee?

One of the greatest sources of friction between restaurateurs and their wine-loving customers is the corkage fee -- what they charge when you bring in a bottle of your own wine. Wine lovers, who are aware of how much restaurants mark up wine above…
