Never been here before and won't be back. The girl at the register didn't ask us if we were dining in or taking out, and we didn't know how this place worked. We ordered with her, and afterwards asked if it made a difference that we wanted to eat in. We got major attitude, and after we sat down to wait for our food, we could here her talking crap about us to everyone in the back of the kitchen. Really delicious! Had a large cheese calzone split with my friend. It was HUGE. We got Cesar salads too. But the dressing was very bland. I would not recommend the Cesar salad at all. Would definitely come again! read more

When I called to let them know, the person who answered the phone was both non-apologetic and sarcastic. When I said that they should check the order before letting it leave the restaurant, she said "Thanks for the tip." Very confusing lunch menu. Server did not mention lunch specials and spent more than we needed to. Service was very slow to the point that lunch took over an hour. We ordered pizza and salads, but charged full price instead of lunch special. Totaled our bills up wrong, charged for extra drinks not ordered. Server very apathetic. First time last time we will ever go. Go to Olive Garden next door for better service and prices. read more

I have not been to Anthony's since 2005 but did have their pizza many times. My Mother had a condo on Tahoe Circle for many years. At least once a month I would pickup a Pizza and a large antipasto salad. These meals still are some of the best meals I have ever had. Go pick up a pizza and take it home to your mother and have dinner with her. You will not regret having dinner with her but you will regret not spending time with her when she id gone. read more

Just shocked at how far this place has gone down. They don't care about their customers any longer. We ordered a meatball sub that was cold, had no sauce or cheeses on it. I guess they no longer toast their sandwiches which made the sandwich even worse because it was even colder almost frozen. A saving grace would have been at least to add some cheese and toast them like they used to. We also ordered a chicken parmesan sub which more resemble chew leather in a cold sub roll. We've been coming here a couple of times a month for over 10 years. Love it, always great pizza, they always cook it to our specs, good salad, yummy house dressing. The worst experience ever! Wish I had read the reviews before I went in for dinner at 8pm this evening. No welcome, dingy/dark - could use a cleaning. The first words I heard from the waitress were "there's only the pizza that's left" ... I was puzzled and asked if there was anything other than pizza? She tossed a menu at me, and left. I ordered a meatball sub, that was given to me cold - and normally I would have asked to have it warmed up. I was afraid to do so, as there was loud fighting going on in the open kitchen area between staff members. A man & woman fought in loud voices my entire time in the "restaurant." A waitress tried to advise them to stop the loud fighting, as a customer was present - without success. This went on for the entire time that I was there. As I left, the fighting man stated "sorry about the shenanigans" .. and a woman employee stated, "there are always shenanigans at Anthony's." There was no apology or offer to make up for the awful atmosphere and food. I have only written one poor review in my life -- tonight I realized I had an obligation to make it two. If you are looking for a nice, relaxing, calm, clean place to go for good food, choose another restaurant. I wish I had known before trying Anthony's. read more

Close to home for sure...they make a pretty good pie. Gets busy in the evenings, so go early or later. Wish that they could expand, gets a little cramped and noisy. Almost all the wait staff is nice. This is first time here and the staff here are so rude. I walked up to the counter not being asked if this was for here to go. After I placed my order and told the girl I would like to be seated she told me it was to late for me to be steated and showed me their sign they have stating the counter was a go-to order only (remind you this is my first time here, so I didn't know). This sign is placed behind the register where if you order food you won't see it. The girl at the counter told me she was going to ask the waitress if there was any available tables where we can sit. she came back a few seconds later and stated "Emma told her we could not sit." what was the reason? The tips! Really!? she assumed I would not have left a tip because I already ordered my food. I also asked if I can get a refund and sit and order my food and I was told no because of some ticket. There was plenty of seating mind you. I will never go back to that place. I have pictures of how empty this place was and still was given a hard time about me and my son being seated. I don't live or work anywhere near here. We live near UCF where there are pizza shops at every corner. But we always drive across town to Anthonys Pizza in Casselberry whenever we are craving pizza. It's the absolute best in town! The extravaganza is our favorite. My husband says the wings are the best in town too. He thinks they should change the name to Anthonys wings and pizza. Nice atmosphere, fairly quiet, two screens to watch games etc, and a family friendly atmosphere. Menu fairly large, prices fair. Food was average. My wife and I Calzone and it was just ok; crust overcooked and marinara sauce was luke warm. They have pizza by the slice and it was ok; typical New York style thin crust, they make their own, not frozen dough. We also had Garlic Twist bread as an appetizer. The dough was not made that day, so they were hard and luke warm, marinara was ok, but luke warm. They were served in Olive oil and heavily coated with garlic, yet the flavor was very, very bland. Our server was cheerful and helpful, came by to refill our drinks twice during th meal. The restaurant seats about 60-70 folks and on a Saturday night at 7pm it was about half full. Overall fairly bland meal, but a fair price and nice serivce staff. Not the worst Italian / Pizza, and not the best either. We'd probably experiment with another restaurant next time. read more

Went there tonight had an awful experience.. Been going there for years have recommended them for years! Burned food... Got the 3 Cousins, first time ordering this as I love the baked Zitti...First off showed it to waitress she offered to send it back wish I had... These guys absolutely lost a customer with me by always screwing up my order. I gave them several chances but the last straw was when they woman didn't asked me my name and decided to write something else on my order that wasn't even close. When I showed up and gave my name she told me to wait.. I stood there for 40 mins waiting on my order to be done and the entire time, it was sitting on the counter with a different name, getting cold. I received ziti rather than the spaghetti as a side. I called them to report the the mistake. I was told I could come in and recieve a 25% discount on another meal. 1st time here and my LAST time here for sure. The management here is beyond terrible! My parents and I came here tonight and the place wasn't busy at all. Ordered a couple of slices of pizza and 2 simple dinners (chicken parm.) nothing crazy. It took them almost 30 mins to bring the 2 slices of pizza and over an hour for the chicken dinners. The server came to us, only when we called her to refill the drinks, and quickly apologized for the long wait (as we can obviously tell she is avoiding our table or any conversation at this point). She said the kitchen forgot about our meals and they were coming out soon. I was already wondering what the hell was taking so long but to hear that they FORGOT about us and it wasn't even busy at the time, I was getting pretty annoyed. Finally the dinner came out about another 20-30 mins later and the manager never came to apologize or show any compassion at all. That would have made me feel better, as a customer at the very least, like most restaurants would have done. As we got our bill the server pointed out that we got a 10% discount, as if they made it right. I said "Thanks for the $4 discount. Let me talk to the manager." I just wanted to hear her own the fact that they forgot about us and that they would make it right if we ever came back. Anything apologetic would have been fine for me. Instead, the manager, who looked to be a very young girl (20-23 yrs old), comes to me and gives me attitude for even asking for her to come to my table. Then, told me that due to their "policy" they are not allowed to give anyone more than a 10% discount, and she was upset with me for saying that her customer service was bad. THEN, proceeds to give me excuse after excuse of how she is 3 people short, how she is too busy running the counter (of no customers), how she drove 45 mins to get here for work!!!! Who gives a F*ck!! I sure as Hell didn't need to hear her pathetic excuses or how far she commutes. She was talking so loud that everyone could hear her and she was constantly over-talking me. Any decent manager could have easily just OWNED the fact that they screwed up and they have the absolute WORST POLICY that I've ever heard of for their 10% discount. Their food was below par at best, sadly to say. They didnt even have working bathrooms so u had to go into Publix next door if you needed to use the rest room. This was the most unbelievable, poorly managed restaurant that I've ever been to. I never write reviews but this manager should be fired!! Hire someone that has manager experience or knows how to take care of customers! Consider a different Italian spot if that's what you're looking for. read more

This is the best pizza that I've found in central Florida. It's greasy, big, and delicious just like it ought to be. Service is average, but food is very good. I wouldn't recommend much more...just a pizza. If you like a lot of topping, go with "The Boss". read more

Have been coming to this restaurant for more than 15 years on almost a weekly basis. Tonight, I ordered a large calzone but when out came to the table more than 1/3 was nothing but crust, I could not find more than 3 little dolupd of ricotta cheese at most & less than 1/2 the meat that had typically been on previous calzones ever ordered. When I showed the waitress, she took the calzone back to the cook. She brought it back to the the table and said the cook, I believe she said his name was Anthony and that he was the son of Charlie, the owner said that is the way he always makes calzones. I assure you my regular weekly meals for 15 plus years never saw a calzone as poor add the one tonight nor have I ever experienced the poor attitude by a waitress or the cook regarding a problem with a meal. A number of the waitress know us so well that when we walk in, we don't even have to order our drinks ot appitizer because they know us so well and know what we like. So sad that this tradition had to end tonight because of the cooks attitide at his skimping on the toppings. I guess 15 + years doesn't mean much anymore. Sorry Charlie. read more

I love this place. The atmosphere reminds me of the little Italian restaurants you found around the lower east side of Manhattan many years ago, nothing fancy but great food at a great price. I have had the pizza and several entrees. All has been delicious including the salad served with your entree. The food is fresh, hot, and prepared correctly with quality ingredients. I particularly enjoyed all the chicken dishes. You can order any pasta dish here and get it served as it should be, not with a plate full of water like some other place in the area that freeze their sauce.This is authentic Italian cooking served fresh, again not like some other place in Altamonte Springs. read more
