After being ignored for 25 minutes, I decided it was time to leave. Obviously, service is poor, and this is only one example today. I've had food dropped off at the table, with other items forgotten altogether, and had staff "check" on me only after the meal was finished and too late to bring butter, salad dressing, or cheese to enjoy the meal with. When we went here, we sat in the back of the restaurant and it wasn't busy. We got a female server and order our drinks and garlic knots. After twenty minutes, we started to get frustrated and called her over and she forgot we were there and re asked us what we ordered. She then brought us our drinks and we waited again for twenty minutes. Unsure if garlic knots and the server took this long, we called her over again and she said "did I take your order yet?" i have been going to this restaurant for years now. i feel like it may be under new ownership. or the the whole staff has been changed. we ordered our drinks then our food. we got out salad and meatballs and sausage immediately. barely took a bite of our salad and here is the calamiri and pizza slices. we didn't even have time to eat our salad or appetizer before everything was placed on our table. we have never been so rushed in and out of a restaurant. people were getting there checks and boxes before they even finished their food. i always liked the food and atmosphere. not so much anymore and may not go back. if we do we will have to order our appetizers first.. then wait to order our entrees or pizza.. they do not ring it up in a way or watch until you are ready for the next course.... read more

For pizza is expensive, that out of the way we normally get a pizza from Anthony's about once a week. So for us the expense is worth it. No delivery, just take out or dine in. It's family owned/run. Anthony's has other dishes on the menu but I can't speak on those as I've never had anything but the pizza. I'm originally from New York City so I've grown up eating lots of pizza. I'm disappointed when I go to visit my family in NYC since I now prefer Anthony's Pizza to pizza in NYC. Service is quick, not always super friendly but I'll take that for good pizza. There are a couple of other locations but this one is the one we visit. The pizza is oven baked, not put on a conveyor and worth the extra money. I'll edit this post if I try anything else on the menu but I'm a pretty good Italian food cook myself so don't expect anything to change here. read more

I have been getting the food from Anthony's for years and today I was not impressed at all. We got two sub and salad combos, one meatball and one Italian combo. The meatball was a half a sub with one meatball cut into thirds and hardly any sauce, the Italian combo had hardly enough meat to know any was even in there. I feel this restaurant is taking advantage of Anthony's NY Pizza (HWY 436) customers. When running a google search, it defaults to this restaurant instead and shows "Casselberry location" with no address. I ordered 3 pizzas and wanted "Door Dash" delivery which is available at Anthony's NY Pizza. This restaurant said no delivery available and there is no way there website said that. This location is very far away from the other restaurant I thought I was ordering from. I thought I should honor the order I placed and went to Anthonys Pizza on 17-92 but it was so far away from where I live, all my pizzas were cold. The person up at the front counter is likely sorting through a bajillion take-out orders, so is prob not able to break her concentration and formally welcome you. So sit, and you will be promptly waited on. Garlic knots here will spoil you for any others. Usually order a slice of Bianca, but the antipasto and house salads are great and everything, from the knot, to a slice to some pesto gnocchi, are generously portioned. But you want to know about the crust of the pizza. Hand-tossed to an impossible lightness, the crust is airy with a lovely crisp finish. Anthony's offers terrific value for the $$. read more

The pizza is the closest I have had to New York in the state of Florida. Would I compare it to the best of NY or NJ? No, but it definitely compares with what's considered "solid" up there. I have been visiting for 15+ years and they are still doing it right. A few imitators have even appeared to spawn around Orlando, and I see a Ray's type conspiracy going on! Pies are solid, but this is more of a slice joint by nature, which is something you typically don't find down here. They also make a good Stromboli and are the only pizzeria in the state that I have seen do a white pizza correctly (with garlic and olive oil). Only issue is sometimes slow service, otherwise they would get five stars by me. read more
