The vodka sauce is definitely one of my favorites around. So creamy and has a lot of flavor. The gnocchi were tender and I couldn't stop popping them in my mouth. We enjoyed a glass of wine with dinner, which helps complete the Italian atmosphere. Surrounded by good friends, delicious wine and great tasting food, what more could you want?!

Disappointing Anniversary Celebration…read more My husband and I chose Enzo's on the Lake for our first visit to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment our server introduced himself, he appeared overwhelmed and distracted. We understand it was Magical Dining season and restaurants are busier than usual, so we tried to be patient and understanding throughout the evening. After placing our drink order, it took some time for the drinks to arrive, but since we weren't in any rush, this wasn't an issue. In fact, the drinks were excellent and were one of the few highlights of the evening. We ordered the meatballs and Caesar salad as appetizers. Surprisingly, they arrived only a few minutes after ordering, which may explain why the quality was lacking. The meatballs were only room temperature and not particularly tender, while the Caesar salad was wilted. For our entrees, I ordered the Fettuccine Al Aragosta e Gamberi and my husband ordered the Ravioli della Casa. The meals arrived just 5 to 7 minutes after ordering. Although the plates themselves were hot, the food was barely warm. The ravioli had decent flavor, but the fettuccine was completely tasteless. Overall, we were left with the impression that the food was not freshly prepared. What was equally disappointing was the lack of service. Throughout the meal, our server never checked on us to ask whether everything was satisfactory or if we needed anything. We were never offered another round of drinks. To make matters worse, when he cleared our table to bring the dessert menu, he took my drink even though I had not finished it. He then offered to bring me a "half drink" as a replacement, which was confusing and inappropriate. Between the disappointing food, inattentive service, and overall poor dining experience, our special anniversary celebration fell far short of expectations. Unfortunately, this visit did not leave us with any reason to return, and we will not be dining here again.

For dessert, I quietly asked Kevin to bring out the Profiteroles with a candle. One of the best parts of Antonio's downstairs was being able to grab a bottle of reasonably priced wine with the $5 cork fee but the Prosecco we've enjoyed for years has increased over $5 a bottle plus that cork fee... not the deal we've had in the past. They did add a happy hour downstairs... that ends at 5pm. Catering to retirees maybe? The restaurant space is more open due to the downsizing of the market. The service is not the same though most of the staff seems happy to be there. I know things can't stay the same forever but super bummed about this one. I guess I should just be grateful for the years we had with the original.

I should have known when the open sign was off 7:00pm at night when I walked in. The counter was crowded with people waiting for food to go but the restaurant was pretty much sparse with people. I called ahead so I wouldn't have to wait so after 5 minutes of waiting my turn. I expressed to the cashier I ordered a large pepperoni and mushroom calzone. She looks on top of the over comes back and says it will be a few minutes more. I said you said a half hour it's been at least that long. Again she assures me to be patient. Meanwhile there are a couple of pizzas sitting on the counter since I got there getting colder by the minute. 10 minutes go by and I'm watching this place imploded. Everybody's orders are screwed up the cashiers apologizing to people the cooks yelling that he's right when he was clearly wrong. So I interject and say is my calzone finished yet? Again without checking with the cook she comes back its almost done. Finally they deliver the cold pizzas to the waiting party to find out its the wrong order. More fighting and complaining ensue. He gives the the pizza free but they didn't want it so the waitress sets it off to the side but never comes back to tell the cook they didn't want it. So again I say load enough for the cook to here is my calzone burning?? He looks in the bottom oven just to find this charred black brick that was once my dinner go right in the trash. Again with the apologies, ill make you a new one. NO! Just give me my money back I have to leave. Another 12 mins or so I leave with no proof that I got a refund and the boss is out of town he'll take care of it. Good thing I'm not on a budget or I wouldn't have eaten at all. You guys used to be #1 I'm gonna take a break from you until figure it out. I'll be checking the reviews. read more

You will wait 30-45 minutes to be seated during the times 6pm-8pm on Friday and Saturday's. Then you will wait at least 45-60 minutes for food. A two hour dining experience at least. The last four times we went they didn't have Sicilian style pizza available and it was only 6pm on a Friday??? Why? Poor prep planning is the norm it seems. Take it off the menu if you don't offer it on a regular basis and just make it a "Special" on certain days. Garlic knots are good. Stromboli is good. I've never seen anybody who works there smile. read more

Abysmal service that's impossible to avoid. The employees seem miserable and ready to leave. Receiving a greeting is impossible. I would recommend avoiding this particular Pizza Hut if possible. There is a Dominos near by where the customer service is 5stars by comparison. read more

While i was going to ask for extra garlic but did not and it was actually a perfect amount. The onion, mushrooms, and half pepperoni were perfect - excellent products used still. I will not wait this long to return since i couldn't have been more happy with this pizza - it's worth the drive without a question. There are so many 'Anthonys' around, but NOTHING compares to this original Anthony's - it's absolutely the BEST!

With that said, my rating is also in the middle because the service was SLOW, SLOW, SLOW. While it was dinnertime, the restaurant itself was not super packed. I opted to sit at the bar and sat there for about 10 mins before anyone serviced me. Had I known it would have been that slow, I'd have gone to the restaurant next door. Again, I just wanted a beverage as I waited for my time to pass for my hair appointment at the salon in the same shopping plaza. By the time I got my house glass of pinot grigio, it was time to pay my tab and go to my appointment. So, much of the time was eaten up in simply waiting for a bartender to service me; I was a little put off. In fact, they did not find anyone to service the bar area until it was about three of sitting there. Anyways, despite that, the staff was actually very kind. They did apologize for the wait, but you know what they say about first impressions. While I won't be letting this deter me from actually giving them a proper try, I will keep this first experience in the back of my head. Despite this, the venue is spacious. They have ample indoor and outdoor seating. The bar seating is limited, but they have enough. The environment seemed lively and very family-friendly. Also, pricing is GREAT! Their entire menu is very reasonable - so that is a plus! It is located in a shopping plaza, so there is more than enough parking. Again, I'll be back to give them another try and see if they are able to sway my opinions any further.

The blonde waitress came back after asking management with a smile on her face and said "No." I then asked management directly to use the phone and they he said no. So we decided to leave (we made no fuss about it and said nothing), then management proceeded to open the front door and pop his head out so he could then stare and eyeball us, as if we had done something wrong (when clearly we did not). You can take from this what you will. But I would never ever eat at this restaurant unless you want to be treated in this manner. What restaurant doesn't allow someone to use their phone in an emergency, then follows them outside to stare at them? All of these actions were definitely done because of a bias towards my partner. They showed their true colors. You could not pay me to eat there. The people who work there truly have disgraceful biases and horrible service.
