A large vegetarian pizza ‍‍‍
Carmella G.

A coworker suggested this place, I tried it and I must admit the owner definitely has a sense of humor so that's why I decided to be generous in my rating. I ordered a large vegetable pizza which looked more a medium but ok and came out to be $29.00. This is truly the most expensive pizza I've ever eaten. I rate the pizza a 5, it was dry but I liked that it didn't have no flop, I hate when my pizza has flop. The fact that today is National Pizza day and they had NO idea or specials is why 3 stars is definitely me being generous.

Excellent Pizza! Anthony is a cool guy. Waited on us at the counter. I would eat here again for sure. The decor is older but hipster friendly retro. I I loved it.

Tomato Pie

Anthony made us an amazing tomato pie. That's the only thing we ordered, so that's all I can review. It had hand crushed tomatoes with garlic, not too much cheese, and a crisp light crust. The decor is late-70s and that just adds to the experience. We will definitely return.

A slice of pepperoni and a slice of sausage

Decent pizza. Nothing special, but not bad. We dropped in for lunch during the week and were the only customers. The place is a little mom & pop place, decorated with Elvis and Marilyn Monroe. Elvis music played the entire time we were there. Only Elvis. Pizza is available by the slice, and the pies are laid out on the counter, with nothing covering them. I wasn't a fan of that, but overlooked it and ordered a slice of pepperoni and a slice of sausage. The guy grabbed them with his bare hands and put them into the oven. No gloves. Not too cool, but again, I'll overlook it once. Price is reasonable, I think I paid $7 for the 2 slices and a Pepsi. The food was good, but nothing that would have me making a special trip back. If I was in the area and wanted some pizza, I might stop in. Just wish that dude would have pulled on some gloves before grabbing my pizza...

Cheesesteak with fried onions.

The roar of trucks on Route 130. A table with a view of creepy old dudes going to the peep show across the Highway. The 1970s decor. No, this isn't a date night spot by any means. What it is, however, is some of the best no-frills Friday night fare you're going to get in Burlington County. The sign was what got my attention - the vintage one out front with Anthony's mug on it, adorned with light bulbs. As soon as I walked in, I knew it was a winner. Anthony himself was at the counter, carefully kneading dough into the pans he prepped for his Sicilian pie. I snagged a slice that had just came out of the oven. Sweet sauce, salty cheese and a light, but crispy crust. Peroni and Coke in bottles to wash it down. It's my normal order. Tonight, however, I strayed. Sure, I got my slices, but I was inspired for some reason to order a cheesesteak. Now I've had my fair share of steaks - Donkey's in Camden, the South Philly stalwarts, the Delco steaks - but this sandwich...unreal. Seasoned beef, the right amount of cheese, perfectly caramelized onions on a damn near perfect roll. The sandwich is a gamer and worth the drive. Like I said, the ambiance is old school. It desperately needs a Pac Man table. Anthony is a classic himself. A treasure to be celebrated. Get the good stuff while we're still graced with his presence!

Really fantastic pizza. Crust is thin and delicious. Crispy enough that no fold is necessary If you are a fan of high quality pizza this is a must try!

One of the worst pizzas I've ever had. Very dry and no taste. So many better options in the area. Avoid this place.

We ordered some wings and a few pizzas to share, including the Trenton style pie, veggie, and margarita. A few others ordered salads as well, but I didn't get to try any. The pizzas and wings were quite tasty. Our server was great. It made for a nice lunch with my team!

First off let me say. We love having Marcello's in town. It's a good option for a date night and…read morethe vibes are phenomenal inside. The decor is great and it's a wonderful set up. While I do enjoy Marcello's there are a few things that hold this back from being a 4 or 5 start restaurant in my opinion. The first thing is the price. It's very pricy. The drinks are expensive but the food is really expensive. A "pizette" which is a flatbread is very costly for what you get in my opinion. But with that said, they are really good. Same with their sandwiches and pastas. Expensive but generally good. Wit that said, I have found their food hit or miss. Sometimes it's really on and it's phenomenal. Other times it's average. So a bit inconsistent. The service is just okay. I have found the bartenders a bit aloof. But they do make mighty good drinks. My favorite thing is the sausage egg rolls. Highly recommend them. The pizza is also quite good. I will keep coming here but wish it was a little more reasonably priced.

Never ever a bad or adequate meal, hence the opposite--- always a memorable, enjoyable, tasty, beautifully plated presentatin. Last night the 4 of use shared the now back in season watermelon salad adn the vongol veraci to start. Each of us had a different dish and were so very pleased, not one issue. Sicilian caponata, pollo pistachio, tuscan pasta, 12oz prime new york strip and I LOVED the halibut special. Each again was beautfilly prepared, and plated. For dessert as we had our arms twiseted by Jimbo--- we shared the Tiramisu and Bourbon Toffee Cake between the 2 couples. Jimo is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very deserving. I don't even know where to begin bc they hit it out if the ball park for us. Our compliments to the chef!!! So I have to start with my Pork Chop...omg...perfect. Rocco's closed down in Newtown, PA and their pork chop was the best...this pork chop was right up there with Rocco's. The mustard sauce, unique topping, was amazing. I am thinking about it today and my mouth is watering. My husband's veal was probably the best he has ever had. The most tender veal ever with a delicious marsala sauce. Then there were the pastas and seafood...all delicious. Oh and the calamari. It was all so darn good. Kyle was our server and he added to a perfect dining experience. He answered our questions, described the choices right on, made recommendations, he was friendly, had a wanting to please attitude and my 13 yr old granddaughter was crushing on him. (Haha). Wish all of our servers were that effecient and good. Gotta love a BYOB! The restaurant is modernly decorated and very comfortable. High energy kinda place. Noise level was high but all restaurants are loud these days and it really wasn't too bad. It was our first time at this restaurant and even though it is a bit far...we can't wait to go back. It is a pleasure to support a family run business. The owner came to our table and you could see her pride and we also felt our business was appreciated. I see why every table was full on a Sunday night. I just wish this place were in our neighborhood!! Love love love it!!!
