    Plain large pie

Another pizzeria that has been on our list to try out. Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and decided to eat in. We decided to go with a large plain pie (we will be back to try a tomato pie). We took a seat and watched Anthony behind the counter prepare the dough throwing it up in the air. It definitely feels like you are back in time at this pizzeria. There are tv's up and around a long with Elvis photos and cutouts. It has a large eat in area. You can also order wine or beer. Our pizza was up in about 10 minutes. It came out perfect. It had a good balance of crunch and chew to the crust. A good amount of cheese and the sauce had the perfect amount of sweetness. We really enjoyed our experience here. We will be back to try the tomato pie.

    A large vegetarian pizza ‍‍‍

A coworker suggested this place, I tried it and I must admit the owner definitely has a sense of humor so that's why I decided to be generous in my rating. I ordered a large vegetable pizza which looked more a medium but ok and came out to be $29.00. This is truly the most expensive pizza I've ever eaten. I rate the pizza a 5, it was dry but I liked that it didn't have no flop, I hate when my pizza has flop. The fact that today is National Pizza day and they had NO idea or specials is why 3 stars is definitely me being generous.

Excellent Pizza! Anthony is a cool guy. Waited on us at the counter. I would eat here again for sure. The decor is older but hipster friendly retro. I I loved it.

    Tomato Pie

Anthony made us an amazing tomato pie. That's the only thing we ordered, so that's all I can review. It had hand crushed tomatoes with garlic, not too much cheese, and a crisp light crust. The decor is late-70s and that just adds to the experience. We will definitely return.

A slice of pepperoni and a slice of sausage

Decent pizza. Nothing special, but not bad. We dropped in for lunch during the week and were the only customers. The place is a little mom & pop place, decorated with Elvis and Marilyn Monroe. Elvis music played the entire time we were there. Only Elvis. Pizza is available by the slice, and the pies are laid out on the counter, with nothing covering them. I wasn't a fan of that, but overlooked it and ordered a slice of pepperoni and a slice of sausage. The guy grabbed them with his bare hands and put them into the oven. No gloves. Not too cool, but again, I'll overlook it once. Price is reasonable, I think I paid $7 for the 2 slices and a Pepsi. The food was good, but nothing that would have me making a special trip back. If I was in the area and wanted some pizza, I might stop in. Just wish that dude would have pulled on some gloves before grabbing my pizza...

One of the worst pizzas I've ever had. Very dry and no taste. So many better options in the area. Avoid this place.

The pizza - dirty calm pie was good. The Italian chicken dish was a miss for us... tough chicken pieces and lacking flavor even though it had nice chucks of cut up vegetables. The lentil soup was adequate, it met base line flavor and presentation. I guess what locks and information is I noticed the population that's coming in. It's a much older crowd. Certainly the menu items are on the lower price side so it makes it affordable to go out. It's hard when you cook at home and you want to go out a couple nights a week at the weekend and for what we've been paying with inflation and the impact of tariffs we would expect a higher level of them when I'm putting out of my own kitchen. Again, a safe place a consistent place a busy place and if this is acceptable for you, then this is your go to.

We ordered some water along with mussels in red sauce, medium pizza with half onions. The mussels were very meaty with a delicious chunky tomato sauce. The pizza had a thin crust with more sauce than cheese, more of a tomato pie taste. It was okay but not the best ratio of tomato sauce to cheese. This place probably has a great tomato pie. I would definitely return just for the mussels alone. But if I ordered a pizza, I'd be a little more specific about its preparation.

A cozy bar area greets customers if you want to grab a drink while waiting to be seated. They also offer upstairs seating, rounding out a welcoming and highly professional atmosphere that has stood the test of time.   THE FOOD * Bread Service: The bread arrived with a tasty honey, chive, thyme, salt, and pepper butter, which was a nice touch. * Kumamoto Oysters: Ice cold and refreshing. They were complemented with cocktail sauce, watermelon mignonette, and fresh grated horseradish. * Crab Salad Special: Served in a martini glass. It featured cold, chilled crab marinated with tequila, triple sec, and lime, carefully laid on a bed of avocado mousse with an Old Bay-lined rim. Delicious and refreshing during a hot summer evening. * Tri-Color Beet Salad: A roasted beet and citrus salad with whipped ricotta and a pistachio honey vinaigrette that provided rich bites. * New York Strip: Sourced from Allen Brothers in Chicago. A showstopper with excellent crust and beef flavor. We ordered the Au Poivre sauce, which was tasty, but the steak was so good on its own that I ended up using the sauce for my sides! * 14 oz Center Cut Filet: Also sourced from Allen Brothers. Tender as expected with a wonderfully executed crust. * French Bordeaux Wines: We ordered the Chateau Loudenne Medoc and the Chateau De Sales Pomerol. Both were tasty, medium-to-full-bodied, and served as excellent accompaniments to the steaks. * Tuna Special: Nicely seared tuna served over vegetables and udon noodles. * Limoncello Pistachio Tiramisu: Very light and a nice end to the meal. * Kentucky Butter Cake: Served in a cast-iron pot with vanilla ice cream. Yummy and rich.   THE SERVICE Our server, Gene, has been with the restaurant for 8 years and provided exceptional service. He was knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations, pointing out standout options like the pastrami-dusted bone-in filet and the 45-day aged tomahawk topped with a root beer bourbon bacon compound butter.   OVERALL A great steakhouse experience with a highly professional staff and a kitchen that flawlessly executes high-quality steaks.
