Food was amazing service was lacking the lemon drop lacked liquor and I asked the waiter Russell 7 times to ask his manager to remove or replace it he say there was nothing that could be done so I ate the cost. The view was spectacular. Ambiance amazing. Lots of private parking in their lot and bathrooms were dirty. I went twice and each stall was lacking. I have had better experiences at the Tacoma and Edmonds location. I won't recommend this location. But a big clapping of hands to the chef and staff behind the scenes.

I'm so glad I didn't give up on Anthony's. Ive had both good and bad experiences with staff and food but this was one of the good times. I came with a few ladies and we experienced a great time both service and food were outstanding.

I had their clam chowder, chicken katsu bowl (I think), and their sea salt cheese cake. Their chicken katsu bowl could be way more flavorful. The clam chowder was good. But the best part was their sea salt cheesecake, one of the best cheesecakes I've had so far.

What is better than the beautiful Puget Sound weather? The service and food at Anthony's HomePort Seafood Restaurant! This restaurant never disappoints. All dishes are made with pride and arrive at your table hot off the line. Whether you order a traditional Caesar salad or lobster risotto you can't go wrong. Plenty of seating to take in the breathtaking panoramic view of the Harbor. Reservations recommended especially on special occasions and holidays. We happened to visit during high school prom and Mother's Day weekend so there was a 30-40 minute wait time. Normally service is fast but this time it took our food over 30 minutes to get to us. Our waiter was super apologetic and provided frequent updates on the food but with a hungry 6 year old the wait was painful. Management compensated by discounting our final tab. We know from experience that this is uncommon and only because it was a super busy time so we exercised patience. We quite often make Olympia/Lacey a weekend getaway destination and always come to Anthony's for dinner. After fighting through I-5 traffic to get here the no hassle free outdoor parking is a sweet relief. We did not order dessert this time but their seasonal cocktails and seasonal desserts are a must. For us, strawberry and huckleberry season are the best! Hands down come to Anthony's. Absolutely recommend.

We went on a Sunday night to celebrate a birthday. It was very quiet, which was appreciated. The restaurant has a panoramic view of the harbor. Our server was friendly and brought our food out fast. Almost too fast, but I would rather have that versus the alternative. The food was a breath of fresh air. We have eaten at several seafood restaurants recently, and we have consistently been disappointed. I started with the Caesar salad, had the seafood fettuccine for the entree, and had the chocolate lava cake for dessert. It was all delicious! The seafood fettuccine had a lot of seafood, which should be a given. My only critique of the cake was that it needed a little more salt. This restaurant is more expensive, but it is worth it. We will go again.

This is the second time I've been to Anthony's and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The restaurant is lovely, clean and has a beautiful view on the water. It makes for a gorgeous sunset view! The service is just as wonderful. From the hostesses at the door to the waitstaff and bussers. The attention to detail and service was top notch. My husband and I both got the three course meal for 33.00 each. He got the clam chowder to start, I got the Caesar salad. Both delicious. The clam chowder was creamy and thick with nice chunks of clam throughout. The salad was crisp, cold, fresh, and dressed perfectly with a delicious, lemony Caesar dressing. The accompanying basket of delicious, warm sourdough with herbed butter was a nice addition to the appetizers! It was hard to not fill up on that alone! We both chose the garlic shrimp for our main dish. It came with basmati rice and veggies. I asked for no rice and was offered mashed potatoes instead. I still opted for just veggies and was given a generous portion of perfectly sautéed broccolini. My husband switched to the mash and was pleased. The shrimp was excellent. Fresh, tasty and crisp...no mushy shrimp at all. We both chose the Bailey's Irish Creme Chocolate Mousse for dessert. Nice strong Irish creme flavor in the soft mousse. It wasn't too sweet, and a nice ending of a great meal. This was my husband's first time at Anthony's and he said he'd definitely come back again! That's a good review from him! Plus, the price was very good for a three course meal! On top of a kind, courteous waiter, Anthony's will definitely get our business again. Oh! Make sure to check out the bathroom! Sinks in the individual stall is a luxurious thing in my book! Clean bathrooms are always nice, too!

Use to go to Anthony's in Des Moines a lot a long time ago, came to this one for Valentine's Day/My Birthday and I'm happy to say nothings changed. My fiancé was impressed with the food and dessert. He keeps talking about how good the coconut prawns were! Service was great, the vibe was great! Love coming here.

Came here for Mother's Day and it was great. They start off with a blueberry crumb cake with butter and it's delicious and they give you seconds. So good. We were a big party, so we were seated away from the window, so we didn't get the nice view, but our waitress, Sue H. was nice and constantly checked in on us. The food was pretty solid. Sis and I got an almond chicken salad and it was pretty good. Mom got the Smoked Salmon Scramble, which was okay, but not what she expected because she didn't read the details and thought she'd get grilled salmon. Not the restaurant's fault, but because of that she was disappointed. SIL got the Pan Fried Willapa Bay Oysters which she loved. Definitely want to come back again, but maybe on a weekday afternoon so we can enjoy the scenery.

My husband brought my mom and I for dinner for Mother's Day. We also had our little 4 month old. There wasn't much space for stroller- I don't think this place is stroller friendly. The service was great. The food was okay. My mom and I ordered pasta that comes with crab. It was a little salty. My husband got a steak and he loved it. The sun was extremely hot inside and inside the building was hot. We made reservations and took up about 20 mins extra to be sat down. Parking is a little cramped. Since they share parking with other locals.

Anthony's has such a special place in my heart and in the community of olympia. The food is always delicious and at a fair price. I didn't snap a photo of the food but their presentation was spot on! My now husband proposed to me there and the staff were all so sweet. They gave us champagne and we had a lovely meal. The photos came out beautiful, the inside and patio spaces are so nice!

It was cold the day went but, if you get warm weather, try for their outdoor patio. I ordered the lemon rosemary hummus (delish) with gluten free crackers and it came out with lots of sliced veggies, olives and pickled carrots and onions. A great value! My main course was king salmon and it was perfect. I ordered a lemonade and was disappointed that the tall skinny glass it was served in was full to the top with ice, so there was very little left to drink. My husband enjoyed the Cesar salad he ordered, tasted like a traditional Cesar. He tried the special beef cheeks and found them to be very fatty and gelatinous. He wouldn't recommend them. They did have a N/A beer option he was happy about. Service was attentive and friendly.

Swing Wine Bar Review: A Disappointing Anniversary Dinner My…read morewife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and I chose Swing Wine Bar as a surprise because I wanted the evening to be special. Based on the restaurant's reputation and reviews, I expected a memorable dining experience and a wonderful way to celebrate together. Unfortunately, while the restaurant made a strong first impression, the experience steadily declined and ultimately left us disappointed. Upon arrival, we were seated at a great table with a beautiful view that offered a sense of privacy. At first, everything seemed promising. However, after introducing himself, our server appeared distant from the very beginning. When he asked what we would like to drink, everyone at the table requested water. From that point on, his demeanor seemed to change noticeably. He became more formal, less friendly, and responded to our questions about the menu with very brief answers. He brought our water and told us he would return to take our order. After waiting nearly twenty minutes without seeing him again, I eventually got up and looked for him myself, asking if he could come take our order. He followed me back to the table, and each of us ordered a different entrée. Throughout the interaction, he seemed detached and uninterested in creating a welcoming dining experience. When we first arrived, he had placed small plates and silverware on the table. Later, after we had ordered and he happened to be passing by, I asked whether bread or a salad was included with the meals. His response was simply, "No," before immediately turning around and walking away. It was an abrupt and somewhat dismissive interaction that further reinforced the impression that customer service was not a priority. About twenty minutes later, our food arrived. I ordered the New York steak. The steak itself was decent, and the gravy served with it was quite good. However, the broccoli was burned, and the meal consisted of little more than the steak, mashed potatoes, and two very small carrots. Overall, it felt like an expensive version of a basic roast beef dinner. To be fair, not every dish missed the mark. My son's pasta was enjoyable overall, although the shrimp was overcooked and there was very little sauce on the pasta. My wife's hamburger was well prepared, and my father-in-law's brisket was flavorful and tender. After we finished eating, our empty plates sat on the table for quite some time. Eventually, another employee noticed and came over to clear them. A short while later, our server returned, collected my plate, and said he would be back so we could order dessert. When he returned, he listed the dessert options, but none of them sounded particularly appealing to anyone at the table, so we declined. I then asked for the check. Ironically, this was the quickest service we received all evening. The check arrived almost immediately, and I paid it without delay. The final disappointment came with what should have been a thoughtful anniversary gesture. Our server dropped off a card that read, "Thank you for celebrating your anniversary with us." While the gesture itself was appreciated, the card was unsigned and presented without any personal touch. Rather than feeling like a sincere acknowledgment of our special occasion, it felt more like an obligation. What should have been a special surprise anniversary dinner for my wife ultimately became a frustrating experience. While some of the food was enjoyable, the inattentive service, lack of hospitality, and absence of any meaningful personal touch overshadowed the positive aspects of the evening. For a restaurant that presents itself as a destination for celebrations and special occasions, Swing Wine Bar fell well short of my expectations. Based on our experience, I would not recommend it.
