The food was absolutely wonderful. We did feel like we were back in Italy. And the pizza was very delicious and as close to Original Italian as possible, having been to Italy. The service was polite and friendly. However slightly untrained and inexperienced. We were seated outside and the lighting was absolutely perfect. However one of the employees felt like the lighting needed to be brighter and turn the lighting up so bright that it was very unpleasant to be there. The number of the customers mentioned the bright lights but the employees decided to make themselves more important and that probably has to split us from returning back there. All in all the experience was still relatively good and the food was amazing. The prices were reasonable. read more

Arrived with people waiting in front of us. Waited for around 5 mins before I had to find someone to attend to us located at the back of the restaurant in the kitchen. We came during lunch but was not offered the lunch specials, had to ask for them. Server seemed to disapprove that I asked for the specials menu. Food was priced alittle high for them being "lunch specials". Ordered the Meatball Pizza and Mista salad. The salad has slimy leaves that were obviously from the previous night. Pizza had a decent flavor but became more a soup after a few slices and it was much smaller than I thought a $10 pizza would look like. All and all the meal was pretty plain and unsatisfactory. The pizzas here were so authentica! The crust on my margherita was airy but perfectly crispy and charred in all the right places. Now the cheese -- oh the mouthwatering cheese! The mozzarella was simple yet had a hint of sweetness complementing the savory notes from the airy, fluffy dough. Every bite sparked nostalgia and made feel as if I was back home in Italia. We ate at Antica Forma while passing through Moab and were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza (and the variety of interesting toppings - we recommend the pistachio pesto in particular). We're picky about our pizza, and the three we tried were authentic Italian, wood-fired, nicely executed. The atmosphere was bustling and somewhat utilitarian, but the food was the main event. The co-owner, Brock, was very attentive, and happened to speak excellent Portuguese (!) - lots of fun since two of us are Brazilian. The owner was at the front and did not acknowledge us as we waited for a table. During mud-season we expected a little more as they were not too busy. Honestly, my expectations for this pizza were not super high. It's the desert, it's the west, it's a smallish town, but this is really good pizza. I took my food to go, 5 pizzas were ready in 15 minutes. Everyone I dealt with was super friendly and the prices (I thought) for this kind of food were super reasonable. read more

My son and I were in Moab to visit Arches and do some zip lining. After a long day of hiking, we stopped by here for dinner - we were really glad we did! The prices "felt" a little high, but then again, Moab runs on tourism, so can't really complain much. The food however was truly authentic and very good! We had a pizza and some pasta, and split the two, along with a caprese salad. While having spend time in southern Italy, and having taken a cooking class in Tuscany, I'm not expert - but am experienced enough to recognize authentic Neopolitan cuisine and Antica Forma delivered! We really enjoyed our dinner and highly recommend this spot for someone looking for the "real deal". read more

We had a fabulous meal here! Joe, our server, was wonderful, answering our questions and giving us suggestions. He was friendly and took great care in making sure we had what we needed. The pistachio pizza was amazing and the Antica Forma gluten free pizza excellent. You would not know the difference in taste as the wood fired stove creates a delicious crust. The homemade burrata was the best I've ever had. Finished with the mouth watering strawberry shortcake. Highly recommend dining here. read more

We saw the high ratings and this was also recommended to us by a local. We were craving pizza and this place delivered! The wood fired pizza is delicious and they have many options to choose from. The salads were also good and the beer/wine list is pretty large. They also have a full bar for those who want a cocktail. We tried the salcicca, the meat lovers, the margherita and the hawaiian pizzas and all were very good. We also had the caesar salad and the pear and gorgonzola and both were great. I think my mistake was deciding to dine at this establishment before viewing Arches NP. I can only fathom that the 5 star reviews are left by patrons feeling "high on life" after a mind blowing day inside the park. The round piece of paste covered dough I was served, resembled pizza only until I attempted lifting it. The cheese slid off immediately and left me with a triangle shaped, soggy slice of crust. My plate was quickly a shallow puddle of, oil, moisture from the cheese, tears of dissatisfaction maybe? I'm not entirely sure. Reruns of Gordon Ramsay muttering disdain at a poor attempt of edible food was all I could think of as I lifted each slice towards my mouth. At some point one must ask themselves "is this worth it?", when filling their stomach with such poor quality food. My wallet and I both left more empty inside than we should have, after leaving such a highly rated establishment. read more

Excellent wood fired pizza! We are from CT and my boys have not been happy with most pizza we have had in CO and UT. But this place! We all cleaned our plate! And the Caprese with the homemade mozzarella was also fantastic. Good selection of wines by the glass too. They happened to have a favorite Rioja. read more

Pizza was fair but service was bad. Husbands pasta was just ok. The waiter kept saying it would be out soon but people around us got served.
