In fact, I think Cajun Queen might be one of the the haunts we take visitors while they are in town. We started with a half order of fried oysters. Delicious. For our entrees, my wife had the grilled Mahi-Mahi topped with crawfish sautéed with artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes, and scallions in a white wine, lemon butter sauce served over rice. I had the blackened catfish with the same crawfish topping with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. We both greatly enjoyed our dishes. I was almost deterred by recent reviews regarding seasoning of the dishes. My wife and I are accustomed to eating spicy food. I am pleased to report that spices happily danced on my tongue as I savored my catfish. To finish off our meal, we shared a slice of warm pecan piece. Delicious. The wonderful food was coupled with pleasant enough service. Our waitress waited a little too long to return to take our order, but once she did I was surprised by how quickly our food arrived. We enjoyed listening to the three-piece Gator Band (drums, upright bass, and piano) playing jazz tunes while we ate on the second floor of the converted house that is the Cajun Queen's home. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

They used to have a sign that said "No WiFi, talk to each other," But didn't see it this time around. Anyways, Linebergers is a great spot to eat at if you are looking for some good food in the Lake Norman-Mooresville area. This is a fairly casual steakhouse, so if you don't dress up you won't be the odd ball in the room, but you certainly have a choice. Every server is fantastic. They are friendly, they treat you like family, and are quick. To my knowledge, almost every entree comes with a trip to the salad bar. They have the BEST salad bar. DO NOT SKIP ON THE SALAD BAR! They also give you warm rolls with "Texas Roadhouse style" honey butter to start. I highly recommend the prime rib as an entree. Don't get me wrong, it's not the absolute best prime rib I have ever had, but it is up there. It has great flavor, is seasoned well, and is tender. Their creamy horseradish is just ok, but that does not ruin the quality of the meat. The last couple of times they put chopped onions in my mac-and-cheese, which was weird and didn't taste good at all, but luckily this time there were no chopped onions. Both my older and younger cousins got the mac-and-cheese also, and one said that the cheese was too bland, while the other said that the cheese was too strong (sharp). Me personally I think that it is on the more bland side, so Linebergers can take that advice and apply it into their recipe, but nonetheless it is still good. They have the best dessert called the "Lake Norman Mudd Pie," which is essentially a layer of vanilla, coffee, and chocolate ice cream with hot fudge, whipped cream, and Oreo pieces. It is a good treat to have every once in a while, but is rich!! But, if you want a sweet treat, I would recommend opting for that. As a summary, the hospitality at Linebergers is unbeatable and has some pretty solid food (don't forget about the incredible salad bar). Once again, if you are in the area, do not miss out. Head to Linebergers! You will not be disappointed.

Then came back and said I have a table for you over here. I excused my self to the restroom and let me tell you , how absolutely disgusting it was, water all over the floor tons of paper and garbage wrapped up around the drain on the floor, several stalls had fecal matter on them along with blood. I walked out and said to my family that was (visiting from Arizona) and said we are not eating here, my father said the table is nasty can we get I cleaned? I said no we are leaving. As we walked out the health inspector rating was 94.5 listed on the wall I'm so glad I went to use the restroom. And didn't eat here! We were bummed.

There was about a 15-minute wait, which honestly wasn't bad at all, and once we were seated everything just kept getting better. Our server Marvin was amazing. From the moment we sat down, he made sure we were completely taken care of. He was friendly, attentive, and had that natural ability to make guests feel welcome. You can tell when someone truly cares about giving great service, and Marvin definitely does. What really stood out to me was the teamwork in this restaurant. Anytime another server walked by our table they checked in and asked if we needed anything. That kind of hospitality makes a huge difference and made the whole experience feel next level. The restaurant itself was clean, relaxed, and had such a chill vibe, which is exactly the kind of atmosphere I enjoy when I'm on vacation visiting family. It felt comfortable, welcoming, and easy to just sit back and enjoy the meal. And let me talk about the food for a second... I ordered the lobster flatbread and it was to die for. Seriously delicious. The flavors were perfect and it was one of those dishes where you immediately start planning to order it again the next time you come back. If you stop by this Red Lobster, ask for Marvin. He will take great care of you. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town.

I placed an order for takeout, which was very easy online. When I arrived, they did have To-go parking spaces but I couldn't find a designated pick up area inside. There was a hostess podium, no hostess. So I entered the dining room to look for a pick up area, there wasn't any. The place was maybe 40% full, but diners were waiting at the bar for items missing from their meals. They were not happy. The vibe was very off. I gave my name and my order was brought out about ten minutes later. Regarding the quality of the food, my wife and her sister enjoyed their meal very much, so that's a plus. Will I return? Yes, probably. But it seems like more improvements need to be made to the product.

We started with 2 drinks - Bahama Mama and pina colada w/strawberry flavor . Had to send the bahama mama back as it was made on the rocks and not the icy blended drink I had in mind. It wasn't good. The bar tender took the drink dumped it in a blender with ice and served it right back to me. Not many of the ingredients were there. No grenadine no top or dark rum on top and definitely not enough rum to taste it was an alcoholic drink. Paid 10 bucks . Bummer. On to The dinner. We started with 2 cups of Clam chowder. We also ordered a CYO Ultimate Feast - with 5 dollar upcharge - to customize the way we wanted it - which was 2 of the Crab-legs along with Walt's Shrimp and Coconut Shrimp. Sides of brussel sprouts and coleslaw. The clam chowder soup was not good. It was awful . It was basically milk with celery and potatoes. There was no clams in it and did I mention it was watery milk like ? OMG . It was not the clam chowder that I was expecting. It wasn't good. I finally had to get up and go find the manager to complain about the milky watery soup as the waitress never came back to check on us. When the dinner was served she dropped it off and left. We had nothing to crack the crabs with and nothing to put shells in . I dumped the biscuit basket and used that. We also ordered an extra pound of crab-legs. So it was a mess . Finally got the waitress to bring a nut cracker that we used as the crab cracker to open the crabs with. No little fork or crab leg opener offered. No lemons. No hand wipes . No extra napkins. We finally got her to come back at the end of the meal when she realized she forgot the side dish that should have been delivered when the food arrived. So there we were sitting with sticky hands and a side dish after the meal was completed. Never did she offer to refill water. It was not a good experience. The waitress was not great. Never cleared our table or offered to refill water. Honestly it was just one series of bad things after another. Our first time back after almost a year waiting and this ... Lesson learned. We spent 100 bucks and trust me we won't Ever do that again. I don't recommend this place. The crab legs were good - but I could have made them myself at home for 40 bucks and gotten a much better deal with all the basic accessories anyone would need to eat them with. Napkins, lemons and crab cracker tools. Would I go back . Hard No.

My assumption is the locals know something we didn't. I'll start with the positives, because there are a few. Our waitress was great, and the food we actually received was good. There were four of us. Two ordered steaks with baked potatoes, salad, and fries. My wife got the coconut shrimp, and I went with the jambalaya. What showed up tasted fine. What didn't show up told a very different story about how the kitchen is being run. One steak arrived with their baked potato but no fries and the other arrived as just a steak on a plate without a baked potato because they "ran out." The reason the first one didn't have fries was because they had "just dropped them in the fryer." I'm still not entirely sure how either of those things happens in a restaurant, but here we are. This might've been easier to shrug off if we hadn't waited nearly an hour in an almost completely empty restaurant. But after that wait, being told we'd need another 20 minutes for the missing sides was where patience officially left the building. No discount. No comp. Just vibes. The presumed manager never checked on us. Not once. She did make a brief appearance at the very end, dropping off the fries as we were literally walking out, saying "Here you go," and disappearing again. At the same time, another table held our waitress hostage for a solid five minutes, venting about how far downhill this place has gone. The manager was nearby made zero effort to step in or support her. So, over $100 later, we left with missing sides, slow service, and the distinct feeling that no one in charge was actually in charge. Safe to say it'll be another ten years before I step foot in a Red Lobster again. And if they're all being run like this one, they might not even make it that long.

They used to be crab stuffed mushrooms now they are "seafood" stuffed and if you want crab you have to pay $5.00 more? Then came our New England clam chowder. Again it used to be a cup or bowl now it was a teacup half full. Ridiculous! My husband got the shrimp skewers which were ice cold, they forgot his scampi and had to go back for that. I had the crab carbonara which was literally swimming in greasy butter, and could barely see any of the sauce that was supposed to be on it. I had heard that red lobster went downhill, and that certainly seems to be true!
