There were no torn or stained booths or floors. I was greeted by two beautiful smiling nicely aged women. My waiter was very attentive and nice. The food was good, but unfortunately, the service was the worst I've ever experienced at a Red Lobster by server Tamiki. We waited an entire hour just to place our order, despite the restaurant having plenty of empty tables. We were there for over two hours, and most of that time was spent sitting and waiting. Our server never brought us the complimentary biscuits. We had to ask for them after our meals had already been served. We also requested appetizer plates and never received them. We had to ask multiple times for extra napkins before they were finally brought to us. On top of the extremely slow service, our server had a noticeable attitude throughout the entire experience. We honestly felt uncomfortable asking her for anything because we felt like we were bothering her every time we needed something. As a customer, you shouldn't feel uncomfortable asking your server for basic things like napkins, plates, or biscuits. My tea was terrible, so I switched to water, but I was still charged for the tea. I was also charged for a soda that I never received and never even ordered. I take responsibility for not catching the charges before paying, but by that point, I was so frustrated and ready to leave that I didn't look closely at the receipt. The food itself was good, but the service completely ruined the experience. Waiting an hour to order, constantly having to ask for basic things, feeling uncomfortable interacting with our server, and being charged for items we never received made this a very disappointing visit. I haven't been to Red Lobster in years, and this was a last minute decision with my mother. We went on a weekday and enjoyed our food (for the most part). I ordered the Cajun chicken Alfredo pasta and my mother ordered the Southwest Shrimp Bowl. This was a newer item, but she loved it. They give you a lot in that bowl. She had 10 pieces of shrimp and really loved how flavorful everything tasted. I believe it had some jalapeño ranch dressing, sour cream, tortilla strips, pico, rice and mixed greens. My dish could've been better if my chicken was cooked longer and if they drained the pasta. I was too hungry to send it back, but I lifted the pasta up to check because I generally like al dentè pasta and a tad dry. I had a lot of sauce and a puddle of water, as if they pulled the noodles right out the pot to plate. The cheddar bay biscuits were good, but needed more garlic and cheese. I have not been to red lobster in years but my dad wanted to go for his 82nd bday so we went. I had a NOLA inspired salmon dish and it was surprisingly really good. Lots of flavor. My dad enjoyed his regular salmon meal. They came out to sing happy bday to him and gave him a bowel of ice cream which he thoroughly enjoyed. Me and my husband went to red lobster tonight in Matthews and I have to say we had a wonderful experience! We have not been here in about 2 1/2 years and the food was excellent. We both ordered the endless shrimp. The food came out piping hot each time. Everything was fresh. The ambience was warm and inviting our server. Her name was Nya, I must say her customer service was a plus she knew the menu she made conversation that was quite pleasant. She checked on us repeatedly. Never again! When I arrived the place was empty- 2 tables were occupied. I sat down about 1246. only 2 servers in the whole place, bar was closed. Made Valentines Day reservations for 5:45pm. Upon arrival, we were immediately sat and greeted by our amazing server, Hope. She was absolutely fantastic and efficient. We ordered the calamari and crab dip, and both were delicious. Very flavorful. There were 5 of us in our party, and 3 ordered the burger with fries. No complaints there. The husband ordered steak with a potato and vegetables. Steak was delicious and juicy and paired well with the potatoes. I ordered the shrimp bowl that came with rice, mixed greens, pico de gallo, and tortilla strips, and it was amazing! Decided to order their brownie bowl. Basically, a brownie in a bowl with ice cream, definitely a big hit with the kids. Great family date night for Valentines Day, and the service couldn't have been better. We were there for 2 hours, and as we were leaving, we did notice the restaurant getting busier, so we were happy we decided to grab dinner early. Dined in on a Friday for the Lobster Feast Specials. Food was okay. Ordered Lobster Tail Duo, Lobster Lover's Dream and Lobster Linguine. Also ordered two Lobsteritas. Drinks were tangy and large portion but couldn't taste the alcohol. Food was okay. There was an unnecessary up-charge to have the extra seasoned lobster tail swapped for the basic grilled tail. No difference in size just some Old Bay looking season added and worst part was that lobster tail was overcooked rubbery and tasteless. I think the main issue was my waitress Malika's lack luster attitude to be helpful and understanding of when there needed to truly be an up charge. The waitress unfortunately was very nonchalant and did not have any enthusiasm for doing her job and this made the experience an unpleasant one. I came into Red Lobster after watching the new CEO on The Breakfast Club. As soon as I walked in and sat at the bar , 5 people were waiting on BISCUITS . It took 40 minutes for them to bring the biscuits out Apparently they waited til today which is a Friday to start a brand new cook. Very surprised for how good my salmon was. The New Orleans was de-li-ciousssss like need to come back and have it again good. Everyone loved their order. Now the surprise is because last time (in Batimore,MD) not this location, my experience was very different. The food wasn't worth the price at all, the service either, but not because they weren't efficient but the suggestions were bad the bill was high and we left unhappy. Here, the portions were great, the price as well, the service... can improve - polite, pleasant - but please invest in training ALL your servers better... most importantly tho was the flavors were ON POINT. This location is the worst! Went in there twice too many. First time waited over 30 minutes for a meal which I pre-ordered and it was the sesame salmon bowl which was inedible because they overdid it with the sesame oil and drowned it in the sauce. Awful. Then the 2nd time I tried to give them a chance, asked for the sauce on the side. So expecting it to be better right but the rice was hard as a rock and almost broke my tooth on it. 5/3/2021 1p It took our waiter about 20 minutes to greet us. I flagged down another waitress who informed me that he was likely in the back and has not been informed that we had been seated. Ok.....but several other people in the section has grown irritated because he hasn't checked on them either. OMGosh! Is this a new fish or have I just been missing it??? The Bar Harbor Lobster Bake. So I chose to have it with broccoli instead of rice. Initially hesitant, as I usually hear "white wine, garlic sauce" and think I will have to add garlic powder to get the flavor that I want, but this sauce was so garlickally (I make my own words when excited), buttery. The seafood was cooked perfectly. This is my new go-to dish at Red Lobster! My only suggestion, don't slice the scallop to give an appearance of more. I'd rather have less full, juicy scallops than slice them. Also the bar waitress, Zoe was pleasant, but not overbearing. I worked late last night, was very tired and did not feel my usual need for conversation. She noticed this, checked in on me when needed, but let me enjoy my dinner so that I could get done and get home to rest. She would be a gem for any upscale Charlotte restaurant to have. Seated at wrong table, had to search for a server because of wrong table seating, had to use plastic forks as there were no "clean" real forks, no napkin, no drink refills. What a weird experience we had at Red Lobster tonight. We were there fairly early, I'd say around 5 p.m. and were told that the wait would be about 45-50 minutes. Looking around the restaurant, the place looked quite empty. The hostess told us that they had tables to clean off and lots of silverware to wrap. I offered to help but she didn't take me up on it. Twenty minutes later, we were surprised to get a text that our table was ready. About 10 minutes later our server came to take our drink order. Luckily drinks came with the kids menu and they have wifi to entertain them. I was surprised again that they only had 5 national beers on draft and nothing local. Sam Adams it is. On to the food. We both chose the choose two combination. Her scampi and popcorn shrimp overflowed the plate while my Walt's choice and whitefish looked like a child's portion. Both were twenty bucks a piece. Weird. Side options that we chose were the side Caesar salad and baked potato. House salad with a different dressing was not offered. The waitress said they were out. Really? Salad was so salty that I couldn't finish it. That actually was the theme for the meal. Salt. As I've said before, salt adds to a food's flavor, it by itself is not a flavor. The salt level added to my thirstiness and when I asked for my next drink, I was told that it would be a while because they didn't have a bartender! What?? No bartender? There's a first for everything I guess. I had the sinking feeling that this ship was lost at sea. Again I offered to go behind the bar and pour my own but she just laughed. I was dead serious by that point. I think some of these problems like the beer options and the size of my portion for what I paid are probably systemic to the brand but things like needing to wrap silverware and not having a bartender? Last Friday afternoon about 1:30 p.m. my wife and I went to this Red Lobster location. We decided to try it out because another one closer to us had been a disappointment to us. We arrived at this location and went inside to be seated. Still feeling a little apprehensive about sitting inside somewhere during this Covid time, we asked to be seated a little more away from people since the number of people there was only 8-10 tables worth but they were still seated next to each other. The hostess obliged and walked us to the end of the busy area to the first booth in the next area which we were happy to sit in. Then we got some water. Then we were asked if we wanted any appetizers and we said no that we were still looking over the menu. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. No one returned even though there were servers coming and going at the nearby tables. After about 20 minutes of being there and no one coming to take our order, we got up and left. My wife saw one of the servers/hosts and told her that no one had waited on us and so we were leaving. She apologized and we went on out the door and left. So this is not a review of the food. We didn't get any. Our order was never taken. We have been big fans of Red Lobster for a lot of years but it is getting hard to want to go there any more. read more

I went to red lobster for a team lunch for work. We went in and there were not many people there so we were seated fast. The service was outstanding. Our server was very tentative, fast and kind. He had a very positive attitude. I'd love it if he were my waiter every time. Honestly, this is my second time at this red lobster and the service was great before as well. The food was good. I took my family there to eat yesterday and the server was very nice. We received our food and while eating my food I pulled out a long brunette piece of hair. I' m disgusting at this time and I inform the server. She said her manager would come over. The manager never came over or apologized. She didn't take the meal off only took off 10% using a military discount. Well I am military and wasn't allowed to use my own discount because the server said the computer wouldn't allow another discount.
