I am an Augusta resident and I have no problem driving across the bridge for Antonio's pizza...DELICIOUS!! Whenever I'm in the mood for pizza, this is my go to restaurant! Great food. However, the females that are at the register have no customer service skills. Well, I'll say very little. Maybe it's just me, but there's never a smile from them. After I sign my credit card receipt, they've already walked away from the register...wow. They'll walk by a couple of times while I'm standing waiting to tell them I'm there for my call-in order, and they just act as if they dont want to be bothered to ring me up in general. I dont understand it. But, I think I met the owner when I came for my last call-in and HE WAS GREAT. Prompt greeting from him and he seems to be a nice gentleman! I'm not sure why there are so many negative/middle of the road reviews on this place! My family loves it and goes a few times a week! Having been to Brooklyn and had the "real stuff" I'd say that this pizza is comparable to the best, and the cheesecake is top notch! I also recommend the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken, as it is amazing as well. On top of it all, the staff is super friendly, and the owner often comes by your table and makes conversation. I remember the pizza being good. I say remember because I haven't been here in years but used to go regularly. Last time I went I asked for a small cup of ranch dressing with my meal and was charged extra. The principle of the situation really bugged me so I never went back and don't plan to eat here again. Friendly staff, but mediocre food. I tried the eggplant parmigiana, which was good, but extremely salty and loaded with too much cheese. I liked the concept of rolling the eggplant, but I personally would prefer only cheese on top, not also rolled into the eggplant. It also seemed too oily which made it too rich. Marinara had a good flavor. My husband tried the linguine with clams; he said it was alright but will try something different. Ordered lasagna which came overflowing in a boat dish. I had trouble eating out of the dish without making a mess so I asked for a large plate to transfer it to. It was decent but about half way through eating it I noticed it was missing ricotta cheese. Noticed a menu sitting on an empty table next to me so I looked at it to see if the description mentioned ricotta cheese and it did. I did not see our waitress again until we were ready for to go boxes and the check. I mentioned it was missing the ricotta cheese and show her the half I still had left over. I was just wondering if it was the chef's mistake or something else. As we are up at the register paying, she comes out from the kitchen and says it looks like they put a small layer of ricotta on top but what I heard was "We are too cheap to actually put ricotta cheese in our lasagna so we lie about it" read more

Absolutely deplorable. First, I always wash my hands before eating. Thirty minutes after opening, their bathroom was absolutely trashed and had dried urine on the floor and paper towels all over the floor. It stank. I had cheese sticks that tasted frozen. I ordered chicken parmesean and the chicken tasted frozen and the texture made me wonder if a rubber chicken was a real animal. I don't eat pork so I ordered it with marinara, which had entirely way too much of a very bitter, unidentified spice. Each bite was like swallowing a morsel of bitter, gummy, and frozen garbage. The chef was dressed like a stereotypical chef. I'm not fooled. He's a Waffle House cook at best. The food would have got them two stars, but the disgusting cesspool of a bathroom that belonged in a trashy redneck bar earns them one. read more

I agree that this is the closest I can get to New York pizza. There aren't that many pizzerias in the CSRA that know how to make a northern pie, and I'm glad Antonio's is in my neighborhood. read more

Not a great experience. Had a pasta dish and it was very small pasta for dish. 2 inches wide and one layer. I paid 12.95 for that. I also ordered 2 meatballs and later found out that it came with one even though it was not on menu. Hmm that was strange maybe cover up for lack of pasta. My wife had a sub and had to request more sauce to cover meatballs. Total bill was too much for little food. I don't like people who try to cover up mistakes just fix it and I will be happy Honesty is best policy. read more

We have eaten numerous times at Antonio's and enjoyed the family friendly atmosphere and good food. However, this week we ordered take out and both items, lasagna and chicken parm, were so salty that neither my wife or I could tolerate more than 3-4 bites. Fantastic! We came on Valentine's Day around 3:30 and were seated right away. Our waitress was fast and friendly and gave us recommendations when we told her it was our first time. First of all, the service was great considering it was Peach Jam weekend. We ordered the wings, garden salad and cheese steak pizza. The salad was typical...nothing special...Italian dressing tasted homemade or perhaps, no name brand. The wings seems to be baked instead of fried..not crispy. Recently visited this restaurant for dinner on Monday evening. The service was terrible. It took 10 minutes to get a server to take my drink order. I quickly told her my food order for fear of that taking even longer than it took to get a glass of tea. Well, over 20 minutes later, I had to tell them to prepare it to go because I couldn't wait any longer. I was a party of one. Should that have mattered?? We took my daughter's volleyball team here last night, and the experience was amazing! The staff were very accommodating to our large party. Wow another great evening at Antonio's. The food, staff, parking, and location are always EXCEPTIONAL. Just want to express the flavors of the food and the staff. I was asked courteously about my party size and seated at a location, and when I asked to be seated at a more private location I was asked not directed to it. The menu is improved and all of my classic Italian fares are there. I love the fact that I can take home their house dressing. Plus I have never gone wrong with the Chicken Philly (all the way with extra cheese). My all-time fav is the deluxe pizza. Love it, love it, and love it. Thank you Antonio's. read more
