Always a good meal at Antonio's. They make you feel welcome, like family. I get the same order every time. 3 asada tacos a with extra cilantro and onion. As always, quick and full of flavor. I'm due to go back!

Best veggie tacos in town with the warmest service that will make anyone feel like family. Not only are the tacos (which they have a great deal on Tuesdays 3 for $12) amazing but pretty much everything I've tried here is top notch. They also have a full bar which compliments traditional drinks from many places south of the border. Indoor and outdoor seating, making it a dog friendly place downtown but they also validate parking in the garage across the street. Great place to come alone, as a couple or in a big group. We love a local and family ran restaurant and this one is one of the top locations in town! Saluté!

I came here with a couple of friends for lunch. We had an appointment close by so we stopped here for lunch before hand. It's a smaller place with only a few people working. The waitress was friendly and very efficient We ordered right at the time of lunch rush and our food still came out in a timely manner. I got a carne asada taco and a carne asada Gordita. The meat was very tender, flavorful and filling. I will for sure come here again before my next appointment!

Visiting from vegas, i was referred here by a good friend and im glad i stopped in. I ordered the asada tacos and they were delicious and full of authentic flavor. The salsa was fresh. My food was made to order and came out quickly which was impressive given how busy it started to get. Loved the decorations on the wall, it gave it a great touch.

Great weather and good fortune brought us to this gem. Bartender makes outstanding margaritas (many, many flavors available) the grilled chicken quesadilla is the best ! Beautiful patio friendly people and just steps away from the incredible gorgeous Truckee river! Thank you Irma

Food, service, ambience. This is a cozy place to get heavenly fresh salsa, guacamole, and tacos. Antonio Jr took care of us and late night noms were a vibe. 10/10!

Atmosphere was very welcoming and energetic. I love their home style food options especially the carne asada taco with the melted cheese. My bartender Anthony was very kind and made me a delicious Henchata. Definitely would recommend this to anyone near the river walk looking for some good Mexican food at a good price.

Tried it. Crispy shell with generously loaded meat.

Food was great, service was even better. The lady owner in sparkling holiday outfit was warm, courteous and communicative. Got two burritos, a grilled chicken plate and a shrimp taco salad. What I loved about this lady's service was she placed order for ladies first and I absolutely felt being respected so did my lovely daughter. She also communicated with me in advance asking if it is ok to add fish in my taco salad since they were running low on shrimp. I said ok. It turned out the taco shrimp/fish salad was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, veggie, beans, grilled seafood and green sauce all complemented very well. Whoever in the kitchen knows how to cook and prepare for food. The food made us fall in love with Mexican cuisine all over again. Interior design was a mixture of old and new with Mexican cultural elements as focal point. Vibe was dynamic and lively. The owner brought much life to the environment. Highly recommend it.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem while we were visiting from out of town. Sat at the bar and met Anthony who welcomed us and made us feel like we were long time friends! He gave us a few samples of his specialty blackberry margaritas and his own favorites. The food was also amazing! We hated to leave because we had such a fun experience there! It's so nice to see a family run restaurant that really values their customers. The prices were also surprisingly affordable considering the amount of food that you get! Will definitely come back when we're in Reno! We miss them already!

After a lot of years I finally decided to give this place a try. They were out of mild sauce & their enchilada sauce was too spicy. It took over 30 minutes to get 2 shrimp tacos (no sides) and a veggie burrito. By the time our food came I was full on chips and asked for a to go box. I expected more honestly, and I was very let down. We won't return. It was too spicy, the bathroom too dirty, and the food took too long. Lame.

I keep meaning to take a photo but then I look down and this happens.

It's Taco Tuesday! There's no better day to review Antonio's than today. Whenever I wander in to this cute corner spot I am instantly greeted by smiles. The place is well lit with an assortment of booths and tables to accommodate a party of any size. Even better - now that the weather is nice, there is outdoor seating too! This food is incredibly authentic, just like my Abuela used to make it, which means lots of gluten free options. They will even warm your corn tortillas on the grill to avoid any possible cross contamination. If you have food allergies or sensitivities, speak to the chef. She makes everything down to the salsas by hand and can tell you what to avoid. The food is reasonably priced and always delicious. Note: get the Al pastor. You won't regret it.

Orders: RAJAS / ROASTED PEPPERS & MUSHROOMS VEGGIE BURRITO | 3 CHICKEN ENCHILADAS COMBO Yummmmm!!! Hard to find an inspiring vegetarian burrito option, but their roasted veggie burrito was so so good!! Service was fun & playful. Great spot downtown near the Riverwalk. Recommend!!

I really love this place. The wet burritos have to be their best "secret menu" item. Just kidding it's on their menu but it's just superior and far too addictive. Come for the food but stay for the chef Jimmy. Jimmy got jokes. Thanks for making downtown awesome.

She was cheerful, kind, and very attractive to all our needs. We had a party of 8 with 3 small children and she was a CHAMP! The ambiance was amazing. The enchilada sauce was again rather bland though creamy. Likely a 6/10. Just did not appeared to be seasoned in any way. The taco was a 5/10. I liked how they achieved the crunchy corn tortilla, but again it was very bland. The rice was soggy and flavorless. The refried beans had some cheese . But once again, no seasoning of any kind. The flan was pretty well made, though they didn't bother giving me the whipped cream. Our waitress was hostile to us and we ended up having to go up to the register to pay at the end after 1.75 hours. I had ordered the flan after somebody else ordered and it had come out. I wanted to see what it looked like before deciding. The waitress looked at me like "really" like why did I not order it earlier. When I asked for silverware after getting it she just about snapped. She hadn't cleaned up the extra silverware on the table as is normally expected so she grabbed it and slammed it by me like she was losing it. The air of the place kind of gave off a toxicity like nobody wanted to be there, everyone was miserable, and the customers were treated as annoyances that needed to get out. The food came across as the kitchen having lost all passion for cooking and doing the absolute bare minimum. Felt like I was at a restaurant from kitchen nightmares and Gordon Ramsay was going to walk in at any second. I had terrible gas and pain after getting home even 5 hours later so I am pretty sure the chili relleno had gluten, though that's my fault. We ended up here because there were not many decent options open at 3:30 pm. It was a place nobody really wanted to go to and I do not imagine that we will ever find ourselves here ever again. Rather not feel like our waitress is about to attack us and the people at the register look at us like go away.

I was glad that I did finally drop in. Located in a little strip mall on Valley Road, it's an unassuming place from the outside. The inside is small, but comfortable and it felt very "homey". When I walked in, the first thing that hit me was the smell of delicious food wafting through the air. The tastes did not disappoint. We were greeted and sat promptly by a personable young man that brought us water. The owner then brought us our drinks...a margarita for my dining companion and a Mandarin Jarritos for me. My sip of the margarita tasted amazing! Great balance and flavor. We also received a basket of chips and salsa. You could tell that they were made fresh to order. The chips were crispy and hot. The salsa was outstanding...fresh cilantro...balanced combination of flavors with a nice, subtle kick of spiciness at the back end. Not too spicy...just right. I usually have to ask for something hotter...not in this case. The food was amazing! My dining companion ordered the Chile Relleno plate and I got the Molcajete. The prices are outstanding and the amount of food? Huge plates! My Molcajete was sizzling hot and overflowing with chicken, beef, shrimp, nopales and ground beef mixed with veggies. A large plate of refried beans and spanish rice also accompanied this presentation. Fresh, hot, delicious corn tortillas rounded out each of our orders. We were also given a couple of squeeze bottles of sauces...green and red...to add to our meals if we wanted. Freshly made and the bottles were presented in a plastic tub filled with ice to keep them cold. Great addition to the already amazing food! There's also a nice selection of Mexican hot sauces on the table for you to choose from. We both took to-go boxes...so much food! Mine lasted for 2 more meals! I plan to return on a regular basis...this is now one of my favorite local places for great Mexican food. As always, I suggest that you visit to see what YOU think...
