I go to Anton's in Arlington twice per week. Typically I loved them - great service, product, (a little pricy), but overall a solid experience... However today I went at 11:31 and there was a note on the door "closed for lunch 11:30 - 12:00". This has never happened before and the person behind the counter wasn't the same great guy it used to be previously. Might I suggest if you are going to close when everyone else is running errands (during our lunchtime) that you update your hours to reflect this closure? I only had 45 minutes to do a few things and went back at noon and got my stuff and dropped off, but it was close getting back. read more

I am a regular customer of Antons Arlington. Their manager and staff have been uniformly helpful and very efficient. I recommend their VIP service which speeds check in and check out with a nice personalized nylon bag to make drop off so neat and quick. Most important is the quality of their cleaning. It is premier. I never have experienced any issues, their care is gentle to fine garments and I never suffer lost or broken buttons. They use high quality handers (doubled for heavy winter coats. Finally, the VIP (no cost) gives you a monthly coupon that creates huge savings. A word on parking, they have three dedicated spots. I respect their need to keep them open for their clients...otherwise the high traffic coffee shop next door would fill their spaces. read more

I brought in my favorite jumpsuit to be cleaned about a year ago. I put it on for the first time yesterday and one strapped is frayed and the other was cut off. They completely ruined it. I will never take anything here again. read more

I take my shirts here every week, and they never fail to have them ready when they say they will. The staff is very polite and helpful, and you an tell they work hard to please customers. The only thing that I have issues with is that it's little pricey, but the service and quality makes me keep coming back. read more

I took a winter sweater and coat. Total charge was $44. When I got home I was dismayed to find the coat still had dirt and stains on it, truly as if it had not been cleaned at all. The sweater has an awful smell! read more

I really liked using Anton's Cleaners when I lived in Arlington. Just moved - so this review is timely. The staff is always helpful and nice. Never had an issue with them losing my clothes or not doing a stellar job- and the fact there's a parking lot (rare in this area) is a big bonus for me! No dragging my clothes down the street like a lot of places. :) Also, their coupon/email promos are good. They send them once a month and aren't the kind of company to hit your email box 10 times a month like some companies. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I had my barely-worn Theory suit dry cleaned here and not only did they shrink BOTH pieces, but also somehow removed the button from the blazer. They did not tell me about any of this, and instead I was surprised to find this out the next time I went to wear the suit. DO NOT RECOMMEND. THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CLOTHES. read more

On top of being over the top expensive(45 dollars for a jacket, slacks, and 3 shirts) the service was subpar. My jacket came back with a clump of long hair balled up on the inside which I am certain was not there before. The prices are outrageous and the quality of service was subpar. I left my LLBean down long coat to be dry cleaned in late July/early August....when you're not using it...and went to pick up in Oct...when you need it...and they told me they "donated it" after 90 days. It wasn't 90 days!!!!...and that's not right!!! They've lost my business. read more

I used Anton's because I had a funeral to attend and they had the shortest turn-around for cleaning. They assured me the suits would be ready in time, but when I went to pick my order up they could not find it. The clerk did not know where they were, and thought they *might* still be at the cleaning facility on Lowell. He didn't even know what time the morning delivery was, which I think would be fundamental info for an employee of a cleaners. I went by this morning to check with the morning crew and to speak to someone who wasn't an idiot, and it turns out my order was there all along. I can't even begin to tell you how stressful this was. They gave me a measly $5 off, but only because I pushed. I will never use them again. read more

just called because i couldn't find my ticket, it had been a long time ago but not over a year. gone!! after three months your item is donated, but i was told my slip said one month. that is crazy! one month, insane!! the girl said there was nothing she could do, but i could call the manager tomorrow morning. for what? they call once and send out one postcard. never received either. and i have picked up items later then three months before. funny how my "larry levine" coat just disappeared!! i'm done with alton's wish i didn't have to hit the one star!! read more

I am extremely dissatisfied with this business. Their prices are outrageous compared to other cleaners in the area. One polyester tank top cost $9.50! I could have replaced the shirt for that price! The employees in the shop refused to correct the price insisting that the shirt was silk even though the tag listed it as 100% polyester. The employee asked me to come back to speak with a manager the following day. Due to my busy schedule (after all I was dry cleaning a polyester shirt), I was not able to return back the following morning. Extremely overpriced! Will never go back. read more

Not sure why I keep going here. They are substandard and fairly expensive. Nothing I give them ever comes back pressed properly and sometimes not cleaned fully. I need to find a new cleaners. That said, the people that work there are very friendly and helpful. read more
