Never received half the items from Aosom that I order from the Target website. After many emails and back and forth we realized this seller Aosom isn't honest. We ended up filing a complaint with the Illinois state Attorney General's office. I would seriously avoid products by this seller. A Target employee agreed it was all suspicious. It was a horrible experience. We had to take half an opened patio set to a Target store to return because this company wasnt capable of sending us the missing box. It was a total inconvenience and neither Target or the seller would come to a compromise after 9 days of waiting for this missing box. Liked the bird cage I purchased except it was missing 1 small part that is essential in attaching the cart to the cage. Guess what customer service apparently "cannot do". It has to be returned in the box so I must completely disassemble the whole thing and cram it back in the box. There is absolutely zero customer service to their customer service. Do not buy anything that you will need for longer than 1 year. I purchased a 13' x 10' Gazebo and 7 piece wicker furniture set for around $920. Products were okay when I first put them up, and then BAM! 6-months later, wicker furniture color completely faded. 8-10 months after that (1 year 2-4 months later) I started seeing rips in the canopy where the poles attach to the canopy. I decided to contact the company to see if I could get a replacement canopy, and they said, 1) They don't have a replacement canopy for the item for purchase, and 2) They will NOT honor anything after 366 days. I sent timestamped photos showing the degradation of the items over time, and still no luck. I requested to be contacted by a manager, and did not receive a call back or email. $920 for a bit over 1-year of use with no support after 1-year. Don't throw your money away. Bought a lot of garden furniture from this company in August 2024. The metal garden table over the winter has corroded despite being covered and looks like it's infectious. Wrote to them earlier this week to be told they only offer 6 months warranty, considering most of this time was winter it doesn't seem acceptable. Outdoor furniture should be fit for purpose and last a decent amount of time. Aosom said 'it's up to you to prove that the problem was there when you received the goods even if it has taken until now to come to light'. They obviously think I am psychic, how would anyone know an issue would come to light in the future. The staff reply like they are following a script and are very unhelpful and unwilling to offer any help.I was advised to use lemon juice and baking soda, on a table which is already corroded, great advice. I did ask if I could just purchase a new table, as the chairs are fine, no I cannot. It seems such a waste to have to buy a new table and set of chairs. I ordered a wire fence on June 23, 2023 and they said delivery on June 29. I went online to track order and it said that it was not yet shipped!! Called and called - couldn't get through. I bought a 12x15 Gazebo from Aosom Direct. Within 9 months of it being up, we had light hail and the south and west facing Poltycarb roof panels got damaged - small holes in them, biggest being about the size of a pea. I reached out to Aosom Direct who has an eBay site - from where I bought this gazebo. They got back to me and said they would REPLACE the roof panels for me. About a week and a half later, I received a box which was just over 8ft tall, 12" wide and ab out 8" deep - clearly NOT containing the roof panels. When I reached out to them, they said I need to OPEN the box and make sure the roof panels are not in there (the roof panels are on average about 1/2" thick, 36" x 49" and some are longer than 49" (the corners) - thus common sense told me it was impossible for the roof panels to fit in the box they sent me. I did as they requested, opened it, took pictures, and then they were satisfied that I did NOT receive the roof panels. They sent me a second box, exact contents as the first box (Box 2/4), then a THIRD box which contained the lower structure of the gazebo -NOT ROOF PANELS. This time when I contacted Aosom I received a message from them stating that they will contact their warehouse and that they WILL NO LONGER help me! As if this was MY mistake - their warehouse sending me the WRONG BOXES - NOT the roof panels as agreed. Now I have 2 boxes containing the very top aluminum structure of the gazebo, boxes 2/4 and Box 1/4 - none which can contain the roof panels as they have the same dimensions, over 8 ft long and 12" wide and about 8-9" deep. This company will send you the WRONG replacement parts and then HOLD YOU accountable by NOT being willing to further help you! The Polycarbonate roofing they said was very durable and strong, is JUNK and their customer service is beyond pathetic! I cannot stress enough for people to AVIOD this company - they are NOT true to their word, they will get upset with you when THEY send you the wrong parts and then get annoyed with you when you report to them that for a second and third time, you were NOT SENT what you requested. Bought quite a few things from them in 2022, including a walk-in chicken coop to protect my houseplants and veggie from animals such as squirrels. It worked very well but it couldn't take the snow and collapsed over the winter. So the product was not designed for Canada. I contacted Aosom to ask if they could send me replacement parts to fix the coop. They said no because it already exceeded the 90 day period. Then I asked how I could leave comment to show that the product is not winter proof for Canada and that replacement parts would not be available. As I open the box and fixed the chair, left hand rest was not fixing and when complained to the company, they ask me to pay for the shipment. 2. They said they will not replace but will pay for the repair 34$ which cannot be repaired. 3. After 2month 15days the chair is bending to the left side giving me sever back pain. I ordered a kitchen pantry from them, and because I liked the items do much, I had to wait until it was in stock to order. The item arrived rather quickly (although I had issues with Fedex). But during the assembly, I noticed one of the panels was damaged. Because the damage faced the front, I called to get a replacement panel. Again, the item was out of stock. Had to wait almost 3 months for it to come back in. When I ordered the replacement part, they sent me the wrong panel. After going back and forth with them, they told me I received a different panel because the company released a new version of this item and made changes to parts and assembly process to make it easier. They do Not keep an inventory of the old parts for the prior version for those still in their warranty period. They offered me the option to receive a brand new pantry (the current version) or a refund. Given all the headaches, time I spent on the phone with them, they refused to let me speak with a supervisor, the Fedex delivery issues and not being able to get the 1 replacement part I needed, I asked for a refund. Purchased a wall mount display cabinet. The design and assembly are very substandard, the engineering is very inadequate. Needless to say once this was assembled I had no confidence mounting this on the wall to put anything in it. The MDF shelves were already sagging with nothing on them. The glass doors did not slide properly, and most of all the hardware to mount to the wall was not suffice for just the weight of the shelf. I contacted Aosom regarding this and the last response was it was rated for 2 kg so there is nothing wrong with it....very poor customer service reply in my opinion. My concern was this falling off the wall and causing damage, or worst, hurting a child. I now have this assembled unit sitting in my basement, afraid to use it, and the best Aosom would do is refund me $12 on this $160 purchase...they did say I could return it if I pay them $25 shipping. So, if like mine, a 70 mph wind knocks your canopy down onto your gas grill, ripping the top and plastering it with grease, THERE'S NOTHING TO REPLACE IT WITH unless you want to spend ANOTHER $300 to buy a whole new unit, metal poles and all (which I don't need). This company has a horrible return policy and horrible customer service. They make you pay for your return which in my case was $67.18 and they do some weird math with the subtotal and taxes which benefits them so the customer loses a few dollars when the numbers are actually calculated. In my case, the math was not adding up to the amount I was charged. There was a $4.03 discrepancy which Aosom refused to explain to me. I had to call and email multiple times and no one could answer the question as to where the $4.03 was. They kept telling me that it has to do with taxes but their calculations were completely wrong. They never explained where the $4.03 went and I ended up having to dispute it with my bank.   Please do not purchase anything from this company if there is even a slight chance you will need to return it. They also use a weird function through Fed Ex called a "Call Tag Service" which is not just a normal Fed Ex pickup. The customer pays for it and a lot of times there are issues with this service. It took FedEx over 1 week to actually pick up my box that was sitting right on my front porch. I've spent countless hours with this company in trying to return a product. Buyers beware!!! I have bought a couple of dressers from them, and at first I was impressed by how fast they've arrived. When I was putting the "lego" together, I noticed, that one of them had been previously assembled. I didn't think too much of it at first, but later realized it must have been a return item, as it had some manufacturing issue, and different packaging than the second dresser. Tried to phone the company, but their customer "service" was not available. Sent an email with pictures, and got an answer to disassemble and repackage the dresser, then they would send fedex to pick it up. It took two hours to put it together, and I didn't feel dealing with it another 2-3 hours to repackage. Trying to get anyone on the phone, but their excuse for not answering, nor calling back is that due to covid they have manning issues.
