I bought a patio set from this company in January 2014 $1500 it started to disintegrate in May 2014 I asked for help from there customer service department and Stephanie said she could arrange the parts but the 90 day warranty was over and I would have to pay and that she would get me a quote. In August the loungers of the 9 piece out sunny rayan furniture. Started to fall apart and I am still waiting for a quote to purchase new pieces for my furniture which was not even 5 months old that I am to embarrassed to put out now on the patio when I have guests round and they say why don't you get some patio furniture. Having just paid $1500 for a set in Jan I don't feel like paying more for another set. The product is cheap Chinese crap and the company that trades under MHCORP on eBay does not. Stand behind its products and Rudy the supervisor does not want to talk to complaining customers. Customer beware! read more

Now you call and unless you have some magic extension number you eventually get disconnected. They have a chat window thing now. We have been in the Q for 45 minutes as number 1 in line. The worst! box with canopy for garden arrived with NO instructions and NO address to return to. All poles and corners with no idea about how to install. Also no bag to transport in. THEN I called customer service. What a joke. They say 10 callers in front of you wait time 30 minutes. Then a minute later "12 callers in front of you"!. and back and forth until a message says "can't take any more callers" then they hang up. Called back again and they said 3 callers in from of you - 30 minutes! Then finally 1 caller in front of you - 20 minutes. I would give them zero starts if I could. Ordered a gazebo for a lot of money. The day before we had our party we went to set it up. One part missing. Called the company. They will send me the part, but I am on the west coast and it is coming from Tennessee. "You won't have it by tomorrow". I asked them to overnight it, nope they don't "do" that. This is ridiculous. I've been in the purchasing business internationally for years and management for more and this company is up in the top 3 as far as "it's a bad as I've ever seen it"... They will sell you the product...Our product was awful. It wasn't at all what was advertised. Not even close. Then through their horrible customer service and return policy make it so you cannot even return it given their guidelines. They have discovered how to scam people into purchasing products then almost requiring them to keep it or to lose so much money that it's worse to send it back. I would not recommend purchasing any products from this company based on the experience we had. We ordered a ventless fireplace online. The product delivered by UPS arrived damaged. We took pictures of the box and the damaged part. As we had a deadline to install the product for a function, we contacted the company to report the damage and request a replacement and explained the situation of having to install it on a temporary basis till a replacement was available. Although they responded promptly, they did not offer not offered any reasonable solutions and after multiple messages exchanged, this company required us to pack the damage product, ship it back to them then wait for a replacement. No offer at first to cover the shipping costs, only after advising them that we would be filing a complaint with the Ontario Ministry of Consumer Services, they offered to pay for the shipment however we would have to buy a new unity, wait for it to arrive, unpack it, packed the old one, ship it back to them and wait for a refund. They would not cover for any expenses we had with the contractors. I would never buy anything from this company again. read more

I wish I could give this company no stars. They are rude, have smart mouths and are not helpful. I ordered a power car for my child for the xmas that did not work. I emailed the company and they didn't respond to my issue. I googled the company and found the number and they said they would not order a replacement car for me and would send a replacement battery to check if that was the issue. After agreeing I ask when they were sending the battery they said another 5-7 days because they was doing inventory and was not going to mess up there count for me. I needed to replace a wicker lounge chair that was totally destroyed by no fault of the company.I called customer service trying to purchase a new one to replace my damaged one but was told they were only sold in 3 piece sets and could not be broken up.I understand the companies policy, but it made no sense.They said they could sell me parts only.The supervisor, Summer was abrupt and insisted talking over me to restate their policy.I asked to speak to her supervisor Rudy but she said he was busy and would call back....He never did!! Horrible products, horrible service. I was told my lounge chair would be delivered in three different days. I waited each day, it never arrived, called and they finally got it delivered on the fourth day. The instructions were worse than if there had been none. I assembled it according to the pictures--no words---and ended up with six extra screws, and a bottom rail! I finally figured out I had to take it all apart, and assemble it a certain way. It should have taken 20 minutes, it took three hours! They finally offered a full refund and said I could just keep it. Well, that was two weeks ago, and I still have not gotten that full refund! I purchased an Outsunny cooler from Aosom in July of 2019, and the customer service and purchase experience was great! This spring when I got my cooler out, the lid had warped to the point it won't seal at all, and now can't keep stuff cold. I contacted customer service, and again, they were fantastic. I was told they would send me a new cooler, no questions asked, but the cooler was out of stock and there was no timeline on when the new cooler would be in stock. They informed me to keep in touch, and they would let me know when were in stock. Thanks to the magic of cookies and social networks, I almost immediately started getting adds for Aosom on my various accounts showing the same cooler I was told was not in stock or available. Sure enough, I clicked on one of the Aosom adds, and they are instock and available for immediate delivery. Since then, over the last month I have attempted to contact Aosom 15 times via email and phone, and can't get a response. I've been on hold multiple times, and after approximately 5 minutes, it says all agents are busy, and disconnects the call. At this point, I give their sales department a 4 star rating, and warranty repairs a -3 star. read more

I ordered a retractable patio awning from Aosom Canada. They took my money, but the awning never arrived. They used UPS to ship it and UPS insisted that they delivered the product but of course they did not. Maybe a product could be stolen from a porch but an awning is rather large and not likely to be readily stolen. Far more likely that it was delivered to the wrong address. In any case, Aosom has refused to refund my money. I have now spent $360 and have no patio awning. The company has been extremely unhelpful in their response and basically offered me no assistance. They take no responsibility for this. However, I did not contract with UPS to deliver the awning - that was Aosom's choice, not mine. If they are unable to get their products delivered they should not be taking people's money. My advice to anyone reading this: stay away from Aosom Canada. They will take your money and walk away. read more

I ordered a weight bench which came with the box open on top. I thought it was just from shipping only to find when I opened the box that was someone had gone into the box and taken half the screws. I can't put it together and now I have to sit here and wait 2 days for a response and then more days for the resolution. Poor quality products. Ordered an electric scooter through Aosom. Poor directions and difficult to find a customer service number once we realized the scooter was defective. Sent an email (as recommended) and was told someone would get back to me in a day or two. After 4 days I called and was in hold for over an hour before I was disconnected. Once I got ahold of Kaitlyn, who was initially great, I was to be sent out another scooter. I was instructed to email Kaitlyn in two days for a tracking number. After 2 days I emailed Kaitlyn and never received a response. After a week, I emailed again and received a response from Koala who said we should've received it. Turns out it has been delivered while we were in vacation. New scooter worked however the frame was bent and the footboard had some major scratches and was lopsided. My kid was happy just to finally have a working scooter so I did not send it back but I will be wise enough to not order from Aosom again. read more

I wish i could give zero stars! We ordered a wire cart from this company, and the cart arrived with the incorrect wheels. We let them know that the incorrect wheels were sent numerous times, but were ignored and the correct parts never sent. After many months of waiting, the company is refusing to help us. To make matters worse, their supervisor had the nerve to lecture us and imply that the problem was our fault. Avoid this company at all costs, there is a reason they have a F rating on the BBB website and a 1 star rating here.
